@@1985_Honda_CRX_Si 2 yrs ago, thanks. Jeeps are not the ultimate, reliable vehicle, but they are designed so that they can be repaired easily and cheaply.
@@swashington942 I just bought one, there are different colors. I have the Sarge Green, but I've also seen white and red. Look for the "Since 1941" badge. I've seen two others in my town.
Jeep Wrangler has been my dream car since 1985. I was 5. That hasn't changed. Still haven't been able to afford it :( But I swear, I may never own a house in my life - I WILL own a Jeep.
I have a 98 TJ. I’ve wanted one ever since my father had his 79 cj7. I searched for a long time to find one in decent shape and that I could afford. I ended up buying mine last January for roughly half it’s book value. It was in good shape with almost no rust. Later I found out it was a limited edition version they only made for 2 years (98 and 99) called the Chili Pepper edition. They made 1500 in 98 and 500 in 99. Mine is actually the rarest version as it’s one of only a few hundred that came factory with the half doors. It’s a 5-speed with the 4.0l with the factory 30” tire package (the biggest tires you could get from the factory that year). Not sure how many Chili Pepper editions came with the 30” tire package (they were all Sports with the 4.0l). I love my Jeep, but based on its rarity I’m a little nervous about modifying it. All the mods currently done on it can be easily switched back to stock. My original plan was to make it look more like the old flat fender military jeeps (similar to what Jeep did here) but I guess I’ll have to buy anther one for that idea.
Wow! Awesome Perspective! Watching "Mash" growing up guided me to join the military. I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself. I landed in the Air Force, weapons load specialist. One of the first females in that AFSC. Our squadron was one of the first to go in, in the Liberation of Kuwait(Desert Storm 1, getting Saddam out of Kuwait.) I was badly injured. Been dealing with the VA to be properly compensated. My gift will be a Jeep!/Gladiator! I've been through a lot, so has our country, and soldiers, and veterans, male and female! Thank You, Jeep!
I've wanted a wrangler all my life. I fell in love with them as a small child. My kids and I play a game in the car where we see who can spot more wranglers in the road. As an army brat, I need this edition in my life.
Tabitha Sandiford - He should be proud. I know I am. Former US Army Vet whom once lived in what was known in the 1907’s as the M151 MUTT made by AMC, and Ford motor company.
Intelligent Horse Jeep Wranglers/cjs have always been made in the USA from day one and in the same city (Toledo Ohio) since 1941. They did build a new factory but it is literally right next door to the original factory. And they still use the old factory as office space and storage. There are ones made in other countries, but they are not for the USA .
Man! That looks awesome I want one badly!! Please JEEP!! Build it for the consumer?? I own two new jk's and love them! But I would buy one of those in a heartbeat 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌😃
Now if the big three would just do that with the old hot rods. No new designs old bodys old interiors just run 10,000 of each GTOs , Chevys, fords, just pick from late 50s, 60s, a couple 1970s. For under $30,000 so the old guys don't have to go hungry buying one.
There are a bunch of reasons why that will never happen, like emissions, crash safety standards and other things. While there are boutique manufacturers that do build new cars that are basically just like the old cars (like Eagle in England that makes new 60s jaguars and Shelby that still makes the 60s cobra), they exempted for various reasons. Shelby cobras are considered continuation cars (as in the last model year they were officially built has lasted up until now and beyond) and Eagle is a small enough manufacturer and produces so little of them per year, they are exempt from certain safety laws. Both of them are priced far and beyond your target price.
Another 75 years
JEEP will rule again
One of the best edition after vintage models 😍
They NEED to sell these!
I'd make a purchase too if they'd sell it.

I love my 2000 TJ SPORT with just over 190k on the 4.0L and recently picked up a 1996 XJ with 388k on the 4.0L. JEEP Proud!
Simply awesome!! Unfortunatly this model can't be sold in market because security reasons (no sportbars, etc). Regards from a spanish jeeper!

I like it, now if I had the money! :(
I'm Jeepholic & Jeepadict
Does no one else see the irony...Fiat (the Italians) owns Jeep and previously Daimler (the Germans)?
Shut up and Take my Money!
Amazing, my first jeep was a xj, that I regret selling, and got a minivan for the family, but now I'm with a Commander 5.7 love it, next will be a jk.
Where can I buy a Willys?
Craigslist, eBay, military surplus (rarely), collector, basically anywhere vehicles are sold. Just don’t expect it to be cheap.
LEGACY ALWAYS ARE MADE TO BE CARRIED FORWARD.
If they sold these every jeep person would buy one i know I would
why only one? that thing is sick
Can we buy this edition?
Are they selling these?
I always wanted a Jeep and I'm always going to want one .. O|||||O
