For 7 years I have been woken up by Remote Auto Horn Locking Noise which in some vehicles can be as high as 70- 100 decibels. This has been during a time when I have been trying to heal from a stroke ,open heart surgery, and various other cardiac issues including heart failure and arrhythmias. In the past two years I was repeatedly woken by a neighbor's remote horn locking their Jeep at 12:30 am as they parked at the complex I live at. Eventually I went outside to politely ask this man if he could lock the vehicle without the horn noise which is possible on all vehicles and he went into a wild tirade screammmminnnnggg at me. Not only has remote HORN HONK NOISE wrought havoc with my sleep but ( short version ) because Ive repeatedly had to ask people on my complex not to Horn Lock their vehicles, some have complained that I complain ( making me the " bad guy " and now my lease is not being renewed leaving me without a home and exhausted and feeling suicidal. I am not the only person suffering from this noise. When is Jeep going to fix this and eliminate HONKING remote locking with Light Flash Only lock and arm confirmation? I can turn off my own honk but I cant turn off anyone elses. That needs to be done at a manufacturing level. Jeep, are you getting Any if this??
Please stop advertising these vehicles like this. I love Jeeps, have owned Jeeps and finally flipped the bill on my 2019 Rubicon. That is until I took it off road like my Jeeps before it. My u-joint imploded which destroyed the yolk on my inner axle (which holds the u joint) and most of the parts connected to my drivers side front tire including the ball joints and the cheap aluminum steering knuckle. Warranty was useless because I got the speech about abuse and "misuse of the vehicle". No I was not going down the Rockies going a hundred, which was an example one of the Fiat representatives gave me letting me know what's pushing the vehicle too hard. Well, who would have guessed? Duh... You CAN NOT (or better yet aren't allowed to) off road these things. The main/first issue they brought up was there were "obvious traces of mud on the jeep". When I tried to argue how these things are advertised... than the big guns came out with there was no way a grenaded u joint could cause the further damage. Who are these people?! If you want to have the feeling of driving a Jeep, find an old TJ or YJ for 5k and have fun with it. If you really want to blow 50k+... don't give it to jeep. You can buy mine if you want! It'll be all repaired with new parts on my dime. Plus it makes for a head turning daily driver. Splash a bucket of mud on it from time to time if you really want to impress your friends. Just don't take it off road! Jeep should only be able to advertise the vehicle doing what you're willing to back up with the warranty, otherwise it's just false advertisement in my opinion. I'll be back on the phone tomorrow... so I'll update the people how it turns out if Jeep steps up.
Wow. I was looking into a new Jeep. This makes me think twice. Yikes. I've found making your point on Twitter, the corporate office runs the page. You are actually heard on there.
@@hollyh6607 To be honest if this goes much further... I was looking to fill out a class action lawsuit form and see if anything bites. Nissan, Toyota and VW (could be more) got nailed a couple of times for deceptive advertising. I'm sure this would follow along those lines. Sad, I love Jeeps too...
@Make it Happen I added stress the to stock components which test the jeep even more so ... besides that I wheeled it stock for 2 years and never had any issues How many jeeps have you taken off-road?
We're excited for this year's event! Would love to see the Jeep Brand itself at the event.
Where is this?
