At 50 years old, I'm on my second battle with cancer in two years. This time the cancer has metastasized to my liver. By man's standard I'm stage 4 terminal but I'm not on man's timeline, I'm on God's. I pray for many more years but I'm also at complete peace with my life right now.. the perfect peace of Jesus that passes all understanding. I use my journey to share the love of Jesus and share His gospel with everyone that I come into contact with. May God bless everyone here!

@@skultat thank you so much, my friend. It took many years of searching and self reflection to reach the place that I am now. I was self righteous and so judgemental for many years….miserable and completely joyless. It wasn’t until I laid my burdens at the feet of Jesus and left them there that I finally had peace. I have a newfound love for people and I want to use the time that I have left( hopefully many years) to encourage people to seek Jesus for themselves. He loves us all so very much and offers His gift of salvation to anyone who would simply believe that He died for us. I don’t have all of the answers but I have faith that there is purpose to our pain. I pray God’s blessings and peace over you, my friend!

@redeemed2517 I have had fluoroquinolone toxicity syndrome for the past 11 years and now have multiple myeloma on top of so many things the drs. say "I've never seen that before". My friends laugh with me when I'm like, well, I stumped them again. When I worked I ran all the cancer diagnostics for quest for different regions...so after a career of helping others with their cancer, I got my own. The lesson I learned from my job was that the only difference between people with stage 1 and stage 4 cancer was their attitudes. The patients with a stage 1 (beatable) who go "oh whoa is me" they would die within months. The patients with stage 4 cancers who said "I'm defining this, not letting it define me!"; those individuals survived a lot longer than expected. Simply put, one of the best ways to attack cancer is attitude! You seem to have the exact attitude you need to get max longevity out of your life. I pray for many blessings for you and more importantly I pray for strength for you when you're weak. Remember, you're not alone, and you are stronger than cancer!!🥰🥰

I just turned 71 on the 4th of March so I'm over the three score and 10 that the Bible says we haveq by the grace of God. My birthday is a command, March Fourth and I am attempting to do that with the Word. My Brother on Christ John Trejo Sr and I make up the 2 Vets and a Bible ministry and we go to the VA Hospital in D. C. And pray with the veterans. John is a Marine Veteran and I'm an Air Force / Army Veteran. God Bless Y'all.

People that have a strong faith in God see death differently when a brother or sister in Christ passes away. Are we sad? Do we miss them? You better believe we do, but we find comfort knowing when Jesus returns we will all rise up to meet him in heaven. I grieve harder for those that I loved that never accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

I’ve just recently come across this channel after going back and watching Duck Dynasty again (I never finished it). I’m starting from the beginning and am only up to about episode 45 and watched all the “In the woods with Phil”. I’m loving it all! I feel bad because I selfishly want Miss Kay and Phil to live forever. I know it's a much better place but seeing the way Miss Kay chatters away and Phil listens to her and never shuts her up is the most golden thing I've ever seen. Everyone has always shut me up. They don't like that I am always finding a silver lining in the bad. They don't like I have so much to say about such little random meaningless things. I am typically a happy go lucky person and it doesn't sit well with others. My ex husband was the first to make me sit on the otherwise of the Livingroom then the other room then outside. He wasn't the last. So seeing Miss Kay so happy chattering about anything she wants gives me hope that someday somebody be it a husband or just a friend,will actually enjoy talking to me or listening. Also This podcast has been the thing to help bring me back to Jesus. It has brought so much back to my heart. I just don't know what I would do without Phils teachings. I struggle greatly with the way things are in my town. The way people are nowadays. I struggle with the family and their beliefs that are so vastly different from mine about loving everyone no matter what. Phil you have reached me when nothing else could. It took years to put God back into my life. I am far from how I should be involving him. But you and your sons literally have saved my life by making these RUclips lessons. I just apologize again for selfishly wanting you to stay here forever because I need your lectures and teachings so very much. I can't even imagine how amazing it will be to meet Jesus. I think all this praise for Phil is good, but my praise is for Miss Kay. If it hadn't been for her strong faith that God would take care of all of them when Phil wasn't serving Him, I don't think they'd be what they are today. She never gave up her trust in God and with the help of Al taking care of his brothers, she stayed faithful. I pray for her.
