- Two days ago, I lost my dog. In the middle of this, The Marvels came out and I needed to canalize all I'm feeling throughout a character who's lost the closest person to her. And it helped me. I felt accompanied by Monica. Knowing that I can't change what I'm feeling, I can't control it and I can't undo it because it's my truth is the best way to let my grief feel.

Now I get the reason why they used Captain Rambeau instead of Photon as her codename 💔
Don't really think that's her codename, but there is no reason why they didn't give it to her in this movie, maybe they just thought the scene that gave her the title wasn't a good scene for a nice character like her. I mean she probably will get it in a future installment.
