I'm very excited to share this epic new series with you guys and gals.
Stranded in the wild is an epic journey that buddy Kyle and I undertook in the heart of the remote wilderness of northern Canada.
We fly in by float plane, travel through the lakes, rivers, and land of this epic landscape.
Our trip gets extended to (then) an unknown amount of time due to forest fires and thunderstorms, the likes of which, I've never experienced before. You can expect a new video in the series to come out each week, I'm guessing 4 or so episodes until its completion. I really hope you enjoy this, and please check out the links below, the people who helped make this trip, and video(s) possible :)

You inspired us to try canoe tripping, and we just finished our first week long trip down the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway, camping on sandbars the whole way! @@tomassoejaktoNo one I know really likes camping and I'd probably end up lacerating myself in 15 minutes due to tripping over something or accidentally setting myself on fire anyway XD. Additionally, I live in a huge city surrounded by cornfields. Yikes. It's alright though. I'm alright with living vicariously through RUclipsrs. :)

Theres nothing better than when Joe uploads his super long multiple day trips, getting a few beers in the fridge, sitting down with some snacks, and just chilling out on a friday night, suppin on IPA eating some dank snacks and watching the vids.

To be honest, I prefer Joe's editing, this seems too abrupt.
It is Joes editing. Just the intro was done by the wonderful Chris Prouse.
If I may give one piece of advice. Spend $5 bucks on a collapsible fishnet. Weight is less than a 1/4 lb and makes the fishing easier. Also, much better if you're going to catch and release, for the fish.
Definitely worth doing. Another tip (I do this a lot), if your not going to keep your catch. Crush your barbs or go barbless trebles, so much easier to remove the hook and it doesn't mess up the mouth so much.

I spend a ton of time camping in Northern California and use little tips and tricks that I've learned from Joe every time. The videos are what bring me back to the outdoors when I'm in the concrete jungle working and they keep me sane! Thanks for everything, Joe!

I quite often live my outdoors through you since my health no longer allows me to get out like I used to. I’m am glad that my children experienced enough outdoors when they were younger to still love to get out and enjoy it today.

I keep forgetting to share my baked fish recipe, it's super simple, super good.
Mix equal parts of parmesan cheese and cracker crumbs with dill weed and finely grated lemon peel.
I mix about 1 cup of cheese and crackers the peel from a small lemon and maybe about a teaspoon or so of dill.
If you try it or anyone tries it let me know what you think. When camping I mix it at home and bring it along.
