When them lace fronts wigs started hitting the BBS ten years ago they looked like this. Please keep in mind that she is in a area where women don’t have access the expensive lace closure and hair. That being said her technique and creativity were A1. The style ain’t for me but I bet that sew in is gonna last til Christmas!

I'm not one to say much but it just amaze me when you see one style a person does and "love it, so amazing, so neat, got to try," see another style and just bash it. I do not understand. Stylist have jobs some will never get. Also, the labor that's applied for some of these styles comes with prices some commenting don't even want to pay, so, many shouldn't even say anything. She did the most important thing to protect those edges which so many sit in Stylist chairs with no edges and wanting a miracle worked. So to you Ms. Beauty Haul JJ, hats off for a job well done.

I would not be caught dead with the style you are wearing, black women like you are always bashing one another, make no mistake your hair is not better, its just a matter of style preference, you chose the hair style you chose and she chose what she chose you r hair is not better sweet heart.
I actually like it. I was a hairdresser for over 30 years and I have seen some stuff in the hair game that made me go 🤔🤔🤔🤔. She fully protected her edges and corrected her mistake. Much respect...

I think the technique is awesome, I've never seen it before. However, there is room for improvement. I would put the closure either behind the ear..or in the back. I would use maybe 2 stocking caps for the band..I would cut out the dome of the caps and just leave the elastic ring..for protection from the glue, plus the caps come in black or nude color and you can always apply powder foundation to the nude cap to blend in with your natural scalp or hair color, and definitely would cut the baby hair's smaller and taper them to the client's head.❤

She really did an amazing job. This is how we used to wear our weave back in the day when we wanted the ponytail look. It used to look like a bucket😂but we thought we were cute anyway.😏 Shey very creative. Although, I wouldn't wear this I'd give her an A+ for creativity 👌🏽

From the reviews, I was thinking it would have looked dreadful.
But it was ok & it looked nice on the Model's face.
But my opinion is :
She has some awesome hair herself, and should learn to care for & embrace her own hair.
Fyi: I agree with others, a black band around the hair should have been used.
It took some skill to accomplish this look. I'm sure you will learn & perfect this skill more as you go.

I see the reason why you use the bandage. However, I like the stocking cap method. A solution for this would be to use a black mascara or hair dye spray to the parts that show the white band. You redid it very nicely. You could also use an elastic band to tie down the hairline. The young ladies look very pretty in their ponytails. Thanks and keep sharing.

Cool alternative, for a person that doesn't have any hair around the edges.
Basically the closure we use to create back in the day day at the crown of the head before lace anything or the invisible part method, just done around the perimeter. Say what ya want but these folks make it do what it do!
