It seems that a big part of it is having the mentality of what can I give to Thailand instead of what can I take from it. That attitude will go a very long way. Great video love your channel keep it up
Excellent interview Adam - keep it up! And Taka, please wear a helmet my friend. I don't tend to take bikes anymore, but when I do I 100% wear a helmet 👍 - good luck with your business.
Great interview....this guy seems to be living well in Thailand but at the same time is being frugal with his money. Its nice to see a business owner who spends his money wisely.
Very interesting video. There's not much content on RUclips about foreigners starting businesses here (besides bars) so great to hear this guy's story 👍 One note though - as an American, he can actually own 100% of the business through the "Treaty of Amity," although there are some specific requirements.
This is an incredible interview Adam, quickly becoming one of my favourite channels on RUclips for learning more about different expat experiences in Thailand. Keep up the good work!
Mahalo Adam and Taka for the video and in-depth look into owning and operating a business in Thailand as an expat American. I know that when my wife and I retire to Thailand in a few years I'll probably be looking into doing the same thing helping out in any way and giving back to the communities from my extensive background in the entertainment/ecommerce world. Again, mahalo and take care Adam!!
Good interview. Interesting subject lots of good advice. Adam wtf you are sounding more and more like Chris intonation and all. 555 My son lives in BKK hes fairly frugal his spend rate is - 45k thb/month. The reason the road system in BKK is as it is, BKK was originally a river canal system. Western influence changed BKK to a surface road transportation system.
Since you have to go along with the Thai rule of Thai citizens partners owning 51% of your company, how do you prevent them from stealing your company and company ideas as well as kicking you out of your company voting you out? Americans do it to Americans every day in America
It's really difficult to enjoy RUclips content. As soon as I hear someone use the term "literally," I am always immediately disinterested with anything that follows. Can't seem to get past the first minute of most videos on here.
Would you start a Business in Bangkok?
Is the RUclipsr RW4U your dad? I live in Jomtien
@@bijanbayne3259 in case Adam is busy I can let you know from being a subscriber and fan of Chris (RW4U), that's Adam's uncle.

Hello sir. Thank you for your comment. It resonates with me, as in this world we either build or destroy. Which one will you embody? Great comment
Excellent interview Adam - keep it up!

Really well thought out Adam. Enjoyed meeting such a focused individual and learning about his colorful life there in Bangkok. Continued success 🤩

Love the interview. Many great questions.
Nice interview, really helpful advice all round. Hoping to arrive in Bangkok in Oct/Nov long term, in the media space! Thailand has my heart
Great job Adam. I love this interview and the one with expats from New York. Keep it up!
Hi Adam! This was a very informative video. I’d like to hear your Thai in a future video! 😊
Love the videos...keep up the good work!
how much is rent for the business space (and how big it is)?
I would have loved to hear you ask him why he's chosen Bangkok over Tokyo.
Interesting conversation
I've heard as an American citizen there's a way to start an amity company with 100% ownership. Do you know if this is accurate?
Yes can own 100% as American. Looks like he missed a beat

Seriously I thought he was Chris's younger twin. If you closed your eyes and listened to them both I can't tell them apart. 😮
Good content 🙏🏽
น้องแอดัมนะครับ A pleasure to call you my friend.
not much saving, is it worth to move out socali?
Is this canadian accent because when I close my eyes it literally sounds like Chris is speaking

Hey interviewer! Why do U talk like Dat??!
You talk exactly like that Retired Working For You guy. Are you his son or relative or are you just copying his style? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was thinking the exact same thing, lol. Accurate. I love the retired worker
Nephew😂😂😂😂identical like a twin. I don't think he can help it or has a choice 😂❤
Chris is Adam's uncle, and he works closely with him and is in allot of Chris's videos to.
@adamparker so nice
