As someone who's struggling with stopping rev chaplins, my top tip is use your ring finger instead. Can still smoothly roll over the index/pointer into the whip ender and looks almost as cool.
@@pez_flips I'm more comfortable with it because I enjoy my regular chaps a lot, sometimes I don't feel like flipping so I'll chap until my hand gets tired. Another tip for learning the combo, you can loop the rev cherry picker whip roll. Being able to isolate that motion and do it over and over will help with the awkward loose grip part. Also carrying momentum into it can greatly help anyone struggling with that part.
@@pez_flips yeah balisong trick names are annoying sometimes. Reverse refers to the direction the balisong is moving while inverse refers to the orientation of the balisong during the trick in relation to your fingers. Typically, when flipping right handed, balisong tricks move in the counter clockwise direction. So rev tricks move clockwise (think of the basic vs reverse fan). The chaplins and rollovers are inverses, for example because for a chaplin the blade is next to your fingers, but during a rollover the blade is on the opposite side facing away.
dang, this is very clear, good job, thanks!
@blakevarner6493 glad I could help :)
this is the FLOWIEST combo I have learned. Great video, keep it up!
@@OKgamedev hey glad you liked it. I appreciate the compliment, thank you :)

That is a reverse cherry picker, the inverse cherry picker would be 0g middle finger chap to index chap
