@@TheLuvOfDogs I know. But it was just so funny because as soon as he kicked out and I 😂. It was literally two blinks. I don’t think I’ve ever see you do the double cone. He should’ve been named Houdini or Armistad because he was like “give us free!”
@@sharonlewis3410 that was actually my first time using the double cone. Definitely worked perfectly 🤣🤣🤣. I had a semi longed haired cat that I brushed often. He had such a beautiful coat but I maintained it at home. Only once did I have to cut a small matt out of his fur and it wasn't close to his skin. If the pet parents of Noodle don't want him shaved down then they need to brush him at home. Thanks for sharing! ❤ 😊
Great job, B! Noodle is a cutie. I feel bad about him coming in matted all the time. His colors and markings are just like my new Rescue girl, Evee (rhymes with Chevy). Evee is older, and her nickname is Noodle because when you hold her, she goes limp like a wet noodle.
You did ya thing on this. I learned how to cut my maltipoo from watching your videos. She had a matted hair I'm ashamed. I learned from my mistake. So my hubbie will do better in taking care of her fur.

Thank you so much!! So, for me it depends on how matted the dog is around the face. If its not matted at all I personally like to leave a cuter face than a shaved face.
One handsome little chap. His coat and colouring are gorgeous. Such a shame he needs so much work done every 4 months . We just had to look at our long haired GSD and bingo the magic mats would appear!!! She loved being groomed, spent 15 to 30 min max brushing her each night ie one hindleg/nhaunch one night, foreleg and shoulder., chest was one segment as was tail and 'pantaloons' she had bilateral hip dysplasia (worst Xray vet had ever seen...) so couldn't really stand, sit, lie comfortably for a big session, hence little bit every night. Loved tucking her paws up to hide them from nail clipping or cutting back big hairy feather feet!!! Thank you for making me laugh today ......
Very “Nicely” done. Some things have changed in your life. You are at peace, and that peace is reflecting very positively in your grooming. Again “Nicely” done ✅
Is a 5 blade longer than a 7 blade? I get confused when a blade lower than 7 is considered short. I look at 7 short and 10, even shorter. I have a matted dog I have to groom and not groomed for over a year. I would like your input. I like the fact that i can bathe him. Great job, as always? I enjoy the soothing music.
@@cynthiaingram9949 yes, the 5 blade is slightly longer. Most of the time you can’t even tell the difference. If he hasn’t been groomed in over a year, your best bet is a 10 blade. If you feel the Matt’s are too tight to get a 7 blade through. A 10 is the safest because it’s the shortest.
I am disgusted with people who do not take care of their animals properly. Not brushing and not applying flee control is neglect in my book. If you don't want to brush don't get an animal that requires daily maintenance. If you can't afford flee control perhaps you should not have a pet. So unfortunate that such a sweet little dog is put through that every four month. It would be so much better if at the most it was every two months. No excuse for such gunky eyes, and dirty beard UGH.
What are some suggestions for good dog cologne and dog shampoo? I really like PetSmart cologne, but I don't know what they are using on my dog when i take him grooming.
@@ciaraspb every two weeks is ok as long as you are using a really good shampoo as well as a conditioner. Drying their coat thoroughly and brushing them to ensure they don’t get matted are key factors in washing every two weeks. What kind of dog(s) do you have?
