I have been using Witch hazel for 40 years, on many of the usues claimed in this great helpfulness hints. These are all factually provided reports. I love it & use daily for many of the examples listed.

What I do for cold sores is.
1 bowl
Arm and hammer toothpaste
Sea Salt
Apple Cider Vinegar
Lemon juice
Tiny bit of rubbing alcohol
Mix it all together
Take a cotton ball or qtip and smear the paste onto the sore and voila!
Even after it blisters it will go away in a matter of an hour or 3. Sleeping also help the recovery, if you do this before bed, you will wake up with it gone! I've been doing this for 15 years now anytime I get one. After 5 of those years I only got it 1 every 2 -3 years!

This is also good for sunburn and it calms the skin and stops the itching and burning also good when you have a allergic reaction and your skin itchy and red apply this and it calms the skin
