Just did a very similar exhaust on my 2010 cts4. But the magnaflow is very very tight fit. Also on the car is an airaid intake, a tune, and 4.5 inch exhaust tips. This exhaust sounds better and is a fraction of the cost of the other exhaust i was considering. Thanks you for posting this video so i could make the decision.
I did this exhaust setup (to replace my straight pipe setup) to my full bolt on stage 2 '12 performance coupe last year and it has easily become the most fun car that I have owned. It never fails to put a smile on my face. Highly recommend the MF 11386 with larger diameter tips (3 inch plus). Sounds great and crackles for days. Granted, it was a little loud at first, but once fully broken in, I haven't looked back.

I was just wondering because doesn’t the car come with a 2.25” exhaust and u went up to 2.5”. I was just curious of the difference. My 2012 cts is a daily drive and I drive 65 miles a day round trip to work. Most exhausts help mpg so I was wondering. What did u pay to have it installed? Did u use 304 Stainless?
Sorry for the delay. I didn't notice a decrease mpg. I'm not sure if it's 304 stainless. The shop I go to has done multiple cars for me so I trust they give me the good stuff. I
Quick question. Did you replace the magnaflow 11386 where the oem resonator was? And then straight piped it to the rear? Or you delete the resonator and muffler and installed the magnaflow muffler where the oem mufflers were
Alex Hwang I deleted the muffler and resonator. Everything from the cats back comes completely out. Magnaflow muffler goes in about 3/4 the length of the car.
Alex Hwang, no drones. Did he have the muffler or did you order it online? The older version is bigger. I had it before. The one I have now is more low profile. I posted the serial number.

If you rev it high enough then quickly let go of the gas it'll happen. I just deleted everything from the cats back and put the muffler in.

I just took it to my muffler guy and he couldnt install is because there werent any space for it.. otherwise it wouldve been too low

Bakari Brown i ordered it myself. Magnaflow 11386. Its about 4x9. I was bummed that it didnt fit.
The Magna flow 11386 won’t fit on a 2012 Cadillac CTS coupe, brought it to a custom exhaust place and it’s a too tight fit and he won’t do it.
It may be tight, but he can widen the opening to make it fit. They did the same thing to mine.

Fare Jare, yes the cats are still on. The muffler is a dual in dual out by magnaflow.

11386 is the model number for the muffler. everything has to be ripped out from the cats back.
