This BBC Northern Ireland Social History Documentary Series
chronicles life in the early years of the 20th century. Archive footage and interviews with contributors born in the early 1900s detail the changing urban and rural manners and customs. This episode features the 1930s & 40s, WW11 and looks at the effects of radio, the bicycle and tractor had on people’s lives and the Implementation of the Stormont Parliament and Gerrymandering.
