I have got problem with my right side front, when I brake and pull out, it makes knocking noise when driving it's fine, I have replaced with genuine brake pads with fixing kit, but it's, still the same ,do you know what it could be ?
@@adeelautosworkshop373 so the tin foil is safe and should be done? Last time I tried it I was nervous doing it cause I was afraid caliper or something would catch on fire
@@brandrine6163 sliding pins was hard when I used shims, but with hammer I had free pins, don't worry bro,it was only temporary solution for two or three days Thanx
Terrible advice here. A set of new slide pins is less than 10 bucks. Pins are not supposed to fit snugly in the bracket. This allows for grease to circulate. Hammering in the slide pins with this sheet metal rubbish is friggin' insane. Notice how he doesn't demonstrate the slide pins moving freely before he reassembles everything. That's because they won't. This video is a disaster and no one should try this. Just buy new pins or a new bracket and pins....not expensive. I wouldn't let this clown anywhere near my car.

@@tastas3331 did you resurface the rotor with new pads?
@adeelautosworkshop373 I didn't do it myself actually the job was done by the mechanic in garage
@@tastas3331 ok then you should check ,I think this would be the reason
Why is this not a good idea as others say, replacing pins didn't help but this does stop the noise , so what else can u use to buffer around pin then
Every one has his own mind,we deal with the situation

Don't do this brake will jamm , and wheels will heat up
You are right but caliper,s pin size is down and after this pins are free
No the piston is not affected so it cannot jam
You are right sir,but only machinics know that the wheels will not jam and heat up
Caliper pin should slide for smooth braking n release..this guy is at risk of accident
Don't do experiments with brakes, better to replace with new one
Wow what patch job
No. SLIDE bolt beeds to SLIDE if you have to use a hammer to grt it in? You no good
