Michael Rutter - a TT winner preferred power mode 3 in the Performance Bikes test this month. He said mode 1 was terrible and makes it a nightmare on track
For the people who dont know, Power 1- simulates a quick throttle very "jerky", Full power. Power 2- a little smoother than power 1, Full power. Power 3- very smooth,simulating cable throttle, but still Full power. Power 4- the only reduced power mode. Settings 1-3 are just changing the "feel" and response of the throttle. I keep my 2017 on Power 2, i think its perfect. The 2015 year models had a REALLY jerky throttle, 2016-2017 they are smoother... bye bye :)
Matt R C Yes, i don't like the extra aggressive throttle Response and i was testing different maps to find the one i like it, so a was testing the Power 3 while i was shooting with camera. Power Three for me is a bit too smooth, power 2 is ok, power 1 is to aggressive for my taste. Ciao.
Matt R C usually people want a responsive thottle to feel the acceleration but when you have to race you don't need that, you need precision and not losing grip
