I am really enjoying your videos, and looking forward to watch'em all. May i ask you to make a small tutorial about making speed bumps? I am struggling to make one for myself, if you can do it, i would be appreciated :)
i figured this out: for me the mistake was simply in clicking on plane prior to choosing hole wizard tool. It turned out that in SW 2012 one must click on Hole Wizard on first place and only when 3d sketch tab is active you need to choose a plane of your interest, even though choosing of orientation for specific plane is not yet implemented in SW 2012. Also, before this simple solution I found 3 interesting information sources that explain theory behind it: blog.trimech.com/changing-the-direction-of-reference-planes www.javelin-tech.com/blog/2012/04/control-plane-front-back/#.V4N_498zrQ1 forum.solidworks.com/thread/41890#210463
+Danny de Maat He changed the reference to face1 which is "unknown" to us,I am trying to figure it out my self, since most of the commands further would give error messages.. Will inform you when I get it
+Danny de Maat Delete the top plane in the First reference, then in the second reference, click the upper surface of the oil pan (which may indicate a face1 or face2 in the second reference), then follow the steps in the video!
+Danny de Maat Face 1 is considered as the reference element for the new plane. It is 127mm (reverse direction) from face 1. I did not get any error in the following steps.
the view he is using is called realview graphics. which is available only in high graphic card but you can hack your graphics by realhack. search it on google

The hole depth length is 5.63 at 6.34min, otherwise it can't do fillets & shell...
