After an unsuccessful pigeon hunt the day before thought i would try my hand at making a homemade Spinnerbait. I had bought the wire last winter just for this and now that spring was in the air and it was open water season it was time to catch a spring bass.

Thank you for that tutorial Zach. I enjoy the videos and my grandfather was an avid fly-fisherman. I have a few of his old poles and his fishing boat, i am 21 now but he passed too soon to teach me all of this. The beauty in that single fly has me thinking, "wow, now i understand why you enjoyed doing that so much". This summer i plan on making his old fishing boat like new and learning more about fishing, thank you for some inspiration, that was truly an amazing fly you tied.

I had salmon cooked on a cedar plank on the grill. 15 - 17 minutes and it was perfect and juicy. Great job creating your lure and then catching a fish. Makes the meal taste even better. Keep up the videos and the wealth of knowledge you give us.
Boy you sure have some cool stuff. I was glad to see a life preserver. I'm big on them by river. I almost lost my pup in a raging creek got him by neck just as was being swept under a bank full of willow hangers & even my kids are grown still try to get them in preservers.

Nice video! For low carb, try just adding mayo and dijon mustard to the egg wash, it will help coat better and the fats in the mayo will help it crisp a little better. Just use pork rinds for breading. You're right, the almond flour is a bit too strong.

I think it's awesome you're showing how you tie your own flies and so forth because there are so many fishermen and Bushcraftersthat don't know how to do that and I think everybody should at least have a simple understanding of how to make a fly because if you're in a survival situation you can at least make some sort of luer out of natural materials

Ever think of creating a crossbow style slingshot (or whatever your creative mind would make) when only regular cordage is available (survival situation)? Decent arrows are sooo hard to make in the wild and you're creative af. Just a thought. Much love, keep it coming!

you should check out Fish Pond just up the road, you can launch off route 17, white perch and smallies also, or Hobbs Pond, Hobbs has a cool stream access from Crabtree lane and they have brownies too. Both are perfect for your kayak.
