My ex father in law informed me that he used to be a buyer for MCA Records, and that he once had lunch with Mike Love where he was trying to convince him to put The Beach Boys back together. Without missing a beat, i said 'So Kokomo is your fault, then?'. Good thing he had a sense of humor😅

Good advice. I like MIU and Light Album okay though. I still put em on occasionally. And I like Brian's Imagination and Smile album he finished in 2004
Their 1985 self-titled album is underrated. I’ve always liked it and it has actually aged pretty well. Give it a try
The 50th Anniversary reunion album, That’s Why God Made the Radio, is actually pretty good, because Brian actually had control over the proceedings, with his touring band playing most of the music. The title track is probably their best single since at least Good Timin’ in 1979, and the final three tracks are a nice suite that wrap up their discography.

I had a dream this morning that the Beach Boys were sitting around a campfire on the beach higher than a giraffe’s ass on hallucinogenic drugs. Dennis’ new pal Charlie sees Mike Love dancing like someone’s unhip dad, and he mumbles “slug!” in disgust.
Mike is his white bread stupor says “Slug?…the Slug?…the Slug!” Then he proceeded to sing a song “Coke on everybody slink down to the ground and do the Slug!” 🎶 Beaxh Boys started flipping onto the sand and writhing around thereby creating the dance to go along with the single. All the kids will be doing “The Slug!”

The cringiest thing I've seen this year is Burgers genuine heartfelt high horse dislike for a knockabout and not unfunny comedy movie because he's huffing woke poppers up to his bulbous eyeballs, which were themselves popping out all over his well chubb trodden keyboard.
