And the story behind the entrance is mind blowing, a marriage with normal jobs, kids and also their music project, she, Mary, decided to send application for Benidorm Fest, even without telling about it to the husband (Mark), she was not expecting to be selected, but it happend and then, when she informed Mark they were selected for Benidorm, he said "ok, you send the application, not means we are selected", but she informed him that they have been already selected.
Next thing, when the names of the contestants were announced, they were unknown, and there was even mean comments in social media about their age. But when the song was released was a banger, a powerful message with an addictive beat.
Then they won their semifinals... And in the final they delivered an effective performance. She said she was not nervous in the final because she was having fun, because she was no fighting for the win, she knew she was competing towards artists with lot of expertise in the stage, she thought they wouldnt win, so she decided to enjoy it and deliver... Then... The win came.
The song is powerful, the lyrics too, but also entetaining and mesmerizing.
What it is, is deeply incoherent. Typical of current feminism. If your husband calls you a slut for going out alone, solve that problem with him. And if not, why do you talk about imaginary cases?

Although in the previous video clips the song did not show this type of dancers, RTVE (public Spanish television) has decided to include them in the Benidorm Fest Final with great success. Obviously it's related to feminism. It's stupid to not relate both ideas. The song is about empowering women, in which world this would not be related to a movement like feminism? It's the same movement that tries to show that women older than 50 are equal and valuable and need to have their own space as it should be.

The word "Zorra" literally means female fox but its also a terrible insult to say to a woman, worse than b*tch. María Bass after her 56 years of living has been told this word countless times, for looking good, for having fun, for being honest, for being succesful, etc and now reclames the word to create a feminist anthem with it.

Without training there is no strong thoracic-pulmonary functioning & 56, so your voice sound so powerful, my darling. She is MOSTLY self-taught, she has no academic training. Women in Spain were afraid of being insulted by ZORRA with or without reason.
