My winner is LRP but I've tried way more products than the ones sold in the USA so I get why y'all prefer CeraVe. My favorite cleanser is LRP Lipikar syndet AP+ it's advertised for eczema and I have psoriasis so it was recommended by my dermatologist and I love it, I used to buy it in Mexico or Portugal but they now have it in the USA.
In France and the surrounding countries, LPR is about half the price, and cerave is a bit more expensive (and also has different formulations in Europe) and for me, LPR is like that best friend that you can always trust, cerave is like someone you’re friendly with but can be kinda boring :/
LPR is my overall winner for very dry, sensitive skin! I use it and Avene over Cereve. Although a tube of the Cereve moisturising cream is great to have around.
My skin is so sensetive too. So i am gonna try LRP for the first time but is there a difference between Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser and Toleriane Caring Wash? I can not find Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser in my country:(
i definitely like LRP cleanser over CeraVe! CeraVe always makes me break out, i find my skin likes LRP much better. have you tried the regular lipikar lotion? i used that on my face when i was really irritated and i like it much more than the lipikar balm!!
The toleriane cleanser is 100% better than the cerave one. Totally agree with you on that one. The cerave onr never feels like it cleanses my face, but the lrp one rinses off very clean
About the eye cream , I own both of them, I have really sensitive dry skin since I’m on tretinoin, and the cerave one gave me a burning feeling when I applied it. The laroche-posay didn’t burned my eyes skin at all, but I wish it was more hydrating!!!
Woww I am also on tretinoin treatment. I naturally had oily combo skin but after treatment it’s super flaky, dry n sensitive. So, can u let me know what products do u use and what is ur daily skincare routine ? Since i am struggling to settle my skin barrier on finding right products for my skin. It’s frustrating 😅
Between the two it’s Cerave... But nothing can touch Paulas Choice!! Paula knows what she’s doing! I’ve also had a lot of luck with Honest Beauty.. I use the hydrogel cream as my moisturizer everyday/night and I think it played a big part in helping my acne- mainly in repairing a damaged skin barrier
Very accurate assessment on all the LRP products! I kept a bunch, except for the cicplast, I also agree that it is pasty and comedogenic for combo skin.
I love CeraVe products. I never tried La Roche Posay products before but I’m planing to purchase some these days. Hopefully they’re going to be worth it :)
You can use the Cicaplast to fix your skin barrier when for example the tretinoin dry you out.Cica is Centella Asiatica which is a great antinflamatory and helps with redness and dryness.
LRP for sunscreen, but I'm team CeraVe for everything else (mostly for $$$ reasons). It's crazy how different the pricing of different brands can be depending on where you live! Hearing people in the UK and EU say CeraVe is more expensive over confuses me every time.😆
That’s the same reason I prefer the cerave too, sinks into the skin way better, I wish cerave would add niacinamide to their cream and I would be extra happy
My skin is too dry for cerave, the LRP AP+M for face is good for summer, but id just get bioderma intensive balm for thr rest, they also put 3 ceramide and niacinamide on that product so it's cool
Re: LaRoche Posey moisturizer AP+ def can moisturize up to 48 hours and I have v-e-r-y dry skin. I have tried using regular moisturizer under my eyes and on my lids; it doesn't work for me. It sinks in too much and makes my eyesight blurry. I have been buying eye cream for 30 years. Regarding cleansers, LaRoche Posey gets the vote because even the hydrating Cerave cleanser is too drying.
On my dry skin, these 2 products were super dryng and harsh. And when I got La Rosh Posay - Toleriane in Ukraine 2 years ago, it was perfumed. Peachy soap scent. The company didn't want to talk to me, kept gaslighting me. Later confirmed by the photo of the codes that it was an original and that their product indeed had "a little " fragrance to it. The brand was claiming there, on the packaging, that they product was fragrance - free
love both but can't use both regularly unfortunately! la roche posay uses a lot shea butter in their products which gives me cystic acne, and cerave has its own issues sometimes🙈
I've been trying LRP since I was 15 living in México, then I moved to USA and tried CeraVe because it was hard to get LRP especially my favorite products but lately the USA has been bringing more products, CeraVe is to simple and I absolutely hated everything but one product (the healing ointment) until I tried Eucerin and completely stop buying CeraVe. I have psoriasis and oily skin so it's hell to handle and the one time I used CeraVe under my eyes I developed 6 milia and had to remove them with Lacer 😡 I was furious, that had never happened to me using LRP. My favorite brads are LRP, Eucerin and Bioderma.
I found the Lipikar a bit uncomfortable as it left my skin feeling oily and even a bit itchy. However, it did wonders for some dry spots in my hand which the CeraVe hand cream simply left too irritated. Oh and the Cicaplast is great for healing tattoos :)
I haven’t taken the time to look at the ingredients but I think the other Cerave Eye Cream w caffeine (purple), is the Cerave Healing Ointment (also purple) with some actives that haven’t been proved or disproved to be effective … and way more expensive in that tiny little tube.
LRP. My skin due to hormonal inbalance was horribly dry and I could not even apply makeup and it totally fixed that for me. Cerave feels it hydrates and absorbs too quicky and my skin still looking dry. Maybe it is different for skin types but LRP fixed my skin problems.
The niacinamide in the LRP Lipikar moisturizers is of interest to me, but I just can’t quit CeraVe. The texture and the value takes priority for me. I haven’t tried the LRP Cicaplast Balm, but for similar reasons, I’m not that motivated to buy it. You’re like me in that if a product isn’t too versatile or useful, it’s not sustainable for you to use. Maybe if I sustained a wound or was treating a healing scar, I’d have a use for it, but it’s not cheap. CeraVe Healing Ointment will probably do the job just fine. Your interactions with your husband are amusing, as always.

No this is blush! But thank you
I wanted to love the cerave PM SOOOOO bad but it left me with awful closed comedones after using it for only 3 days 😭😭😭
Oh noooo I’m sorry Jennifer!
@jennifer that happens to me as well. what products do you use now?!
@@heartofmilkandhoney8096 is it bad I’m still trying to find one? 😅 I am pregnant now so it’s even harder for me! Before getting pregnant I was using the cetaphil redness relief night moisturizer and I really loved it! Had to stop when pregnant. That’s one of the only ones that hasn’t broken me out. Still on the hunt for a pregnancy safe one!
@@Idkmybffjenny omg same im trying to find one 😭 idk i kinda want to try the pm again because it’s getting warmer but im scared!!

Cerave is wack ew grozz. Laroche posay is good but not better.
Did you make your husband change 😂
Maybe 😂😂😂😂
My skin was naturally oily combo however, after use of tretinoin (0.5%) cream treatment, i have super sensitive, dry, and flaky skin so, what products would u recommend to use? As i hardly have high knowledge on skincare products and there are so many options on market that I struggle to find one that is suitable for me 🥲
La Roche Cicaplast B5,Lipikar AM,Sindet AM for washing
