So glad you liked it. Thank you for studying with me.
This video is very useful for us . thanks
You are most welcome!
Thank you again, Jenniffer.
Even though it was a short lesson I learnt two new expressions: the verb GRADE and the idiom EVENT TO TREASURE. If I didn't know these expressions I'd say "give points" (similar to portuguese) instead of GRADE or would say "something wonderful" in the place of EVENT TO TREASURE.
Bye bye!
I appreciate the support. I'm glad you're able to take away new expressions from the lesson.
Thank you❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻
😊 Thank you for watching.
Smart teaching

Thanks mam it's really very helpful ☺️
You're welcome! 😊
Things are looking very festive. I love the Christmas tree.
It is a very good lesson. Using the correct verb is important.
An interesting point to note is that the auxiliary verb is not always necessary. When this is the case, the past participle (d or ed) is often added to the main verb. An example would be:
Kelly hasn't been to South America, but she did travel to Mexico last year.
Kelly hasn't been to South America, but she traveled to Mexico last year.
Thanks for the kind support and the additional examples. 😃 Yes, we only focus on the helping verbs if we really need to emphasize it.
@@Englishwithjennifer Thank you. It's a great topic!
Than you jennifer. Good holliday Christimas.

Good morning!
I want this( "this" is a object of a verb want) but in this sentence
I want to be a singer .
I don't understand " to be a singer" is subject complement of subject "I " or is it object of verb want?
"Want" is transitive. An infinitive can be an object of a verb.
Hello jennifer im looking for something i don't how its called for exemple in sentence the end of the sentence for exemple you love watch movie DO you? the do there is what i want to understand and how to use it i m not sure im im clear. Thanks

'Would' instead of ' will '
In quiz number 5
Hi. Yes, that's a possible answer. It depends on how you report the statement.
She said she WON'T...but she WILL...
She said she WOULDN'T...but she WOULD...
Both verb forms are possible. We don't have a shift back if the future actions have yet to be done.
Is that true? 1:34-1:40
Visiting NYC? Yes.

Jenifer and Uma Thurman are Identical...
Ha ha. I've heard that comparison before. I'm flattered. I like Uma. :)
Oooo hohohoho
You are very beautiful have a nice weekend😘
Thank you! You too.
Jennifer, I think it is not right to say, "Our teacher said she won't grade our homework." However, I think it does sound right to say" Our teacher said she wouldn't grade our homework, but... ".
Grammar textbooks tell us to shift back in reported speech. It's a good practice to follow. However, we often don't shift back in everyday English when the future action has yet to take place.
I don't have a car, but I do know how to drive. but why not I know how to drive?? why there is an extra do?
The "do" is for emphasis.
Charles is not a math teacher, but he does know enough to help his children with their math homework.
You can omit "does," but the helping verb can be used for emphasis.
You mean if I want I can cut it of. but do is for emphasis??
Yes.
Please answer this question. You (are not be ) sad last Friday .
Use the simple past of "be." There must be subject-verb agreement. Do we say "you were" or "you was"? How do we make it negative? Use "not."
