Piccolo, despite being one of the youngest of the main characters, only being a few yrs older than gohan, he has by far the most mature perspective towards life...
@Chen Gōngtái 90 well. He wasnt exactly a reincarnation. He was an offspring, he didnt inherit the memories or personality of his father King Piccolo...
But yes, he did fuse with Nail as well(who knows how old he is) as well as Kami, and would thus gain considerable life experience from those fusions as he also attained their powers and memories, as well as aspects of their personality lingering for an unknown period of time until they eventually fade into the subconcious...
However even before then, we saw incredible ability to control and use his power when he showed to the martial arts tournament, rivaling and surpassing those who were many years older than him(including Kami)... And then through the saiyan arc when he learned to care for Gohan, and sacrificed his life to save him... All of that was beforw his fusions.

Chen Gōngtái 90 King piccolo wasn’t a spirit lol he was the evil inside of Kami split apart. Also yes it has been mentioned that Piccolo is in fact King Piccolos offspring. It talked about it when they showed Piccolo growing up in that one scene but he also talked about how Gokus face was etched into his head growing up so he did know who Goku was when they met at the tournament.

Idk bout JUST Salsa, he humiliated all 3 basically ...
1. He humiliated Neiz twice, purposely shooting at his head knowing he would dodge, so he could aim/kill DORE.
2. Letting Neiz shock him making him think he was about to kill piccolo, then smiling in his face letting him know it didn't actually hurt then touching/grabbing him by his scooter to pass the shockwave to Kill NEIZ
3. Letting Salsa think he had the last laugh, then shooting him with a Beam Cannon out of nowhere killing SALSA.

Piccolo is severely underrated. He should be the next character trained by Whis. He's already been a god and he can even create dragon balls if he really wanted to.

Frieza's DBZ life in a nutshell:
-Blows up planet Vegeta but some Saiyans survive
-Goes to Namek for immortality
-Tries to commit genocide again (and fails)
-All his men die
-Gets his ass kicked by Piccolo and goes to 3rd and then final form
-Kick's Vegeta's ass and kills him
-Kick's Goku's ass
-Survives Spirit Bomb
-Tries to kill Piccolo (he survives)
-Blows up a bald midget
-Gets his ass kicked by SSJ Goku
-Never gets his wish for immortality
-Gets cut in half by his own attack
-Survives Namek exploding and becomes a cyborg
-Gets sliced to bits in front of his dad
-Dies and goes to Hell
Now THIS is some good shit! I'm gonna love it, piccolo doesn't get enough praise

Piccolo always ends his battles with some type of arm troubles.
Ironically, Piccolo never lost a limb when fighting Nappa, but Tien did.
Piccolo also died from Nappa's mouth attack despite his body being completely intact externally.
After that, Piccolo went on to survive attacks that would have been lethal if not for his Namekian physiology, such as Freezer's death beam and Imp. Cell's point blank blast that blew a huge hole in Piccolo's chest.
"The evil containment wave is the only thing that can beat me" *rush so many years later and nappa hitting hitting piccolo with the evil containmen.... wait no it wasnt*
I wish they kept the different way they displayed Piccolo's energy with his fight with Cell. The alternate visual intensity made his power up feel unique and was definitely one of the best episodes of the arc.
Mannnnn Piccolo got made into canon fodder he was one of my favorites never played no games. Now is just a Goku and Vegeta show and the z fighters are just weaklings at this point

Dr. Johnny For Piccolo,it seems to be the most effective way. He has gotten his most significant power increase throughout the series due to Namekian fusion.
When it comes to piccolos strength and fighting abilities I have always thought he was somewhere in between the best fighters from Earth ya know and the saiyans but so many other cool things able to regenerate incredible super hearing abilities and he is pretty brilliant as a strategist
In the first movie of Cooler, Piccolo is also badass, humiliating the entire special squad. I mean, it was obvious, he could beat Freezer in his first transformation, there's no way that some henchmen can be that strong.
Man, Piccolo was such a badass in the movies. Nonchalantly frying Neize with his own attack, seemingly sparing Wings in Lord Slug only to vaporize him at pointblank, and taking on Cooler's entire robot army on his own.
One of many reasons why the movies are worth watching.
He is a strategist and fighter. His unique biology give him incredible advantages in reach and endurance.

Piccolo was always my favorite. His love for Gohan felt very real and really humanizes him.

yeah, the guy that kidnaps the kid, yeets him onto a rock cuz "power", left him to survive on his own as a child.
People don't realize one of the main reasons Piccolo is close with Gohan is because, Gohan, with his innocence as a child, treated him like a normal person, and basically, humanized him, while mostly everyone besides people like Goku, would only demonize him and remember him when he was evil. The moment he spent with Gohan in the desperate need to keep the earth alive helped him become a good guy with Goku and Gohan's naivete.
This doesn't really make Piccolo some "ultimate father figure", nor does it really make him any better than Goku. Goku for the most part he was alive and there was no danger going on, was being a true normal dad with Gohan, but all that got messed up when Raditz showed up, then Vegeta, then the namek thing, basically Goku never got his freaking break to ever spend normal time with Gohan the moment Raditz set foot.

@@micg8103 "Taught him everything", for the most part he dropped the kid into the wild, with no bearing as to what kind of kid he is and just because "that power you showed could be used to my advantage". The only redeeming factor was the fact that Gohan's too pure soul backfired on Piccolo and instead made him a nicer person, and became great friends with Gohan, to the point he'd risk his life for him, even though i think for the most part he was probably trying to force Gohan's power out. Don't give me that bs that because he risked his life and "taught him everything", it makes him Gohan's dad. If anything it makes him more of an older brother to me. And again, quit ignoring the fact that Goku literally stuck himself out for him before Piccolo did, ffs he got himself killed RESCUING HIS OWN SON, but nah, "Piccolo jumped in for him, thats totally dad status guys". Yeah? well goku sacrificed himself for him, thanks to the guy that jumped in for Gohan.

Moodzi don't forget Piccolo vs Android 17. That was the only fight in which both the fighters didn't hold back anything and had respect for each other at the end. I watched your whole video just to see whether that fight was at the end but got disappointed when I found that you didn't mention it even in your honourable mentions.

Raw power level was a factor in most of these. Not all, but several for sure. Not sure what you mean by "back when" either. There's several examples of characters, especially Piccolo, fighting or winning battles that aren't based around power levels more recently.

Well Piccolo wouldn’t of actually known his species didn’t have females, he didn’t even know he was an alien at first, so he probably just identified with whichever human gender he felt matched him best.
You know all the old Drowning Pool and Disturbed Tracks in the early movies really made Piccolo and really anyone seem like a Badass when that shit played

you know what's funny? people tend to over look the fact that in the very first fight of the DBZ series against radtiz piccolo was the biggest threat on the battle field while goku was the weak link goku had literally no way of beating or killing radtiz while piccolo had the special beam cannon the only thing goku was in that fight was a sacrifice
It was a more or less useless move in battle because of how long it takes to charge up, but it was ultimately the deciding factor in that fight. One of the few things DBS did well was in his fight vs Frost, showing that all that time meditating and training did, in fact, pay off and Piccolo had become capable of using the special beam in battle despite its drawbacks.

When Piccolo is essentially getting his modified clone to tell him his name and his entire reason for existence, that surprises me since Cell has Piccolo's DNA and would know what he was doing with a damaged arm and early Piccolo with his ruthless kills and moves and his fight against 2nd form Frieza, making the emperor transform into his never before seen 3rd form and Piccolo's durability is very high even after getting shot repeatedly by Frieza's crazy finger beam attack he still manages to save Gohan from his deflected attack and when uses his breath blast to vaporize the cyberman into bones and dust, that attack is highly underused I'd have loved that to be Piccolo's answer to Frieza's question about his 3rd form a quick breath blast to his face and then 'Ville Freak!
