FACTS you can somehow win against a strong man with intelligence and has morals or baselines but you cant win against a crazy man who would do anything just because he wishes the crazy ones are always more dangerous
One thing I've noticed over the yrs is it seems where people rank Buu forms is influenced by their primary version of the series. The dub seems heavily favor Kid Buu because of a script change. Toei is back and forth because they put in fillers and have the narrator increasingly hype every new fight. The manga favors Buuhan, but that's because Toriyama's story and encounters is more tightly controlled and you get things like pre-issue write ups and bios plus other out of character statements (like calling Buuhan the mightiest Majin)
Baby scorpions are exponentially more dangerous than adult scorpions because they don't (or can't) control their venom. They expend all of it on a single strike whereas the adult will conserve it. Kid Buu is a baby scorpion.
1. More dangerous and more powerful are 2 different things. If an adult scorpion used all its venom at once like a baby scorpion did they’d put down their target exponentially faster than a baby scorpion. 2. This could also potentially make the baby scorpion weaker as it quite literally puts all its eggs into one basket only to get rocked by something that resists/is immune to scorpion venom and now the baby has no way of fighting.
To be fair the series is a bit contradictory towards which is the strongest buu. Having read the manga first i always go with Buuhan, since those lines about Kid Buu being the strongest are only in the anime.
@@sockosophie3132they couldn’t measure god ki like they do in super even in super comic they be saying kid buu had god powers so yes. Couldn’t measure the unmeasurable.
@@therealomega2467 they can measure up buu 's ki . it's true that in super, buu manifest god's power (the kaioshin magic vs moro) , but this power have been removed from kid buu , with the removal of that big buu in question .
Honestly I think the Kid Buu vs Super Buu debate gets muddled a lot by filler. Cause the filler makes both Kid Buu and Goku out to be stronger than the manga did. It's for the same reason that people thought 100% Frieza was stronger than SSJ1 Goku on Namek, filler.
Nah, Goku and Kid Buu were definitely strongest in the anime but you'd have to be mental to think Frieza was any type of stronger than Goku in the anime. After Frieza's initial 100% onslaught Goku smirks and verbatim says is that all.
@@SuperKamiGuruu In the anime I would say 100% Frieza dominates for a while and it gives the impression that he only started losing because of the stamina drain. Compare to the manga were he gets in a few good hits, but still clearly doesn't have a chance. Frieza's nova strike also puts Goku down for almost a whole episode in the anime, when in the manga Goku pops back out of the water a few seconds later. So yeah the anime makes Frieza stronger than the manga did.
@@TeamTowers1 you just changed the goal post. You said people thought 100% Frieza was stronger than ssj Namek Goku, which at no point was he ever implied or shown to be so. In the manga Goku finishes frieza in a total of 15 hits (you can count it) but it was dragged out immensely in the anime but we were immediately shown the 100% frieza was next to nothing to anime Goku.
@@SuperKamiGuruu I've seen plenty of people who think 100% Frieza is stronger than SSJ Goku and it's precisely because of the extended beat down and ragdolling he give Goku (that doesn't happen in the manga), that they think that, hell I've seen people who think that the nova strike killed Goku and that he got ressed when they wished everyone killed by Frieza and his men back. For the record I don't think the anime was implying the latter, but I think it's pretty understandable why people think it was implying the former
My friend used to tell me “Super Buu is stronger than kid buu, kid buu is just more chaotic which makes him a tougher force to deal with” and that transcribed with me since as my head canon.
I actually see them as even on the POWER scale, but in terms of Deadlyness or Combat Scale is where they differ. Kid Buu just does, and he isthe Deadliest form of Buu since he will just go to find what he wants to fight and proceed to kill, while Super Buu is the better Combat Scale since he isn't instinctual combat driven but instead CAN THINK and thus CAN PLAN...
If buu absorbs people it makes him stronger and depending how many fighters & their strength, by that logic plain and simple buuhan is stronger than kid buu. How are people missing that?
@@AaronWayne-wl2ji he became less powerful because the elder kai destroyed his brain. The only absorption that was stated to make him weaker was this one.
@@StandXGamma Yeah but because of it you could say that for example: kid buu is at 10, after absorbing kai he is at 3, after that lets say super buu will be at 5 and he is made stronger with gohan/piccolo but it get him only to 9. So super buu
Great list. Super Buu is stronger than Kid Buu for sure, BUT as others have said, Kid Buu was more dangerous because he wasn't as restrained like other Buus
@@errorexe319 I am not refering to any sub, rather the way Kid Buu is presented. He is completely unreasonable only existing to destroy and fullfill his most basic instincts/desires. Super Buu at the very least could be bargained with to some extend (giving Trunks and Goten an extra hour to get prepared for their battle for example). About your Toriyama argument, when/where was it stated by him that Kid Buu was strongest, it would stay in stark contrast to Buu after absorbing Gotenks and/or Gohan, who is capable of easily overpowering Mystic Gohan (or whatever he is called, I am going with the most known name for this "form") while KId Buu was about evenly matched with SSJ3 Goku. Also Toriyama is famous for being an unreliable narrator to his own stories, something that surely helped Dragon Ball´s narrative overall, but makes it harder in terms of continuity and stable content
Through the usual progression of each new iteration usually being stronger than the last, I assumed Kid Buu being the most “pure” Buu would be the strongest. But you definitely got me rethinking that entirely lmao. Great research and presentation my guy!
@@Don-fw3nvwell given new info from super where it shows that Buu can separate someone's power from their actual absorbed body as is the case with the sai kaioshin it's possible he never lost any power from super buu
Don't they all? I think it's just his don't give af mindset. Like Super Buu wanted to crush opponents, but Kid Buu was challenged and just destroyed the planet. But the other Buu's used the physiology. Super Buu could be goofy and weirdly gummy, and he regenerated from literal ash and vapor lol.

@@SilverSaiyanAceFat Buu had the belly trap, which as Good Buu was the only thing which slowed down Evil Buu at all. He also tried to smother Goku in his guts which led to him being flattened momentarily (and another instance there with inhaling air to return him to normal). Super Buu then had that moment he wrapped himself around Gohan then threw him.
Maybe Buu gains not only power and intelligence but also fighting styles, ideas, potential? Kid Buu knew how to use instant transmission because he saw the memories of everyone seeing it multiple times (Fat Buu only saw it once). Cell also saw it 4+ times (ESPECIALLY seeing it used THREE TIMES during the Cell games alone) and just learned it. People think its Toriyama plot convenience. Maybe it isnt. Both Cell and Majin Buu also learned Kamehamehas by seeing it (just like Goku did). Even in the Saiyan Saga, Vegeta saw them do it and like ..learned it in his pod on the way to Namek. For those of you who dont remember when Cell saw instant transmission: 1) When Goku saved Piccolo and Tien before the Cell games. (He might of used one for Piccolo and one for Tien so arriving and each save might have made this 3 times including arrival) 2) When he fled with Piccolo and Tien 3) Instant transmission Kamehameha 4) 2nd form going to King Kai (HE WAS LITERALLY TOUCHING CELL when he did it. So Cell even got to see how telepprting felt.
@lennertmertens1521 Nice to know. I always just figured with the explosion of the entire planet that it would have vaporized Goku. Is that in the manga, anime, or head cannon? Either way, it's a fair point. DBZ is like 90% off-screen training while fights are on screen, 5% on screen training, and 5% "I didn't think that would work" anyway.
I agree with your overall point but just wanna say that it's more likely that Buu was using the 'Kai-Kai' (Kibito's Kaioshin or 'Godly' version of Instant-Travel) than Instant Transmission, reason being that it was said by the Supreme Kai (who was currently fused with Kibito) while he, Elder Kai, Goku, and Vegeta were hovered around a crystal ball, watching Kid Buu warp away after the destruction of Earth. Dialogue went as follows, right after Buu vanished: Vegeta: What is he up to know?! Elder Kai: He's jumped to another inhabited planet, several systems away! Supreme Kai: Unbelievable! Just from seeing it once, he's mastered Kibito's transportation technique! (Taken from DBZ: Kai) So while it might not be something gained from a memory, it is still something he learned from witnessing. Same concept ofc. I think, in fact, this tidbit actually adds to your take on Buu's capabilities.
SSJ3 Gotenks Vs Super Buu is honestly the only evidence I need to say Kid Buu is weaker & actually by a lot. Always thought the antenna getting longer was just from Gotenks absorption.
@@supesisfodder7427 Spirit Bomb is a gathering of life energy/vitality, normal humans can't use ki. Base Vegito, Gohan & Gotenks would've stomped kid Buu powerwise.
Glad people realize kid buu isn't stronger than super buu. He's just more dangerous cuz unlike super buu, kid buu won't wait around for a fight. I hate the anime put that line in by goku saying kid buu was strongest
@@massdagod When super absorbed gottenks he said he was the mightiest majin "PAST, PRESENT, and future". He remembers being kid buu in the past when he says this, so he outright says he is stronger than kid buu. Toriyama wrote that, and anything otherwise is head cannon.
@@StandXGamma Yeah because everything that is ever said by a character is universal fact.... There is 0% chance that was said because of the influence of Saiyan pride....
The reason he wasnt weakened by absorbing gohan for example is he isnt a kai. The key there is the kai aspect being a pure hearted god. Gohan is a mortal huge difference and creates a massive flaw in your argument. There is also a difference between buutanks and super buu and it is stated that when fat buu was removed from super buu that he wasnt losing any strength but in fact gaining.
the increasing strength ur talking bout is the moment where buu take on the bulkier form just before going back as kid buu. super buu translated briefly to the other form he still had
it's also stated that power was decreasing , the moment when it's stated that buu power increase is when buu get muscled up , (one of the 4 kai form) . but anyway kid buu is definitely stronger than big buu . his form is more suited to combat (like super buu form) and we saw goku struggling more vs kid then he struggled vs big buu .
Like the other comment mentions, that was Huge Buu/Buff Buu (whichever you want to call him). When he went to Kid Buu they actually sensed him as weaker and Goku said they could handle him. In contrast Goku had just like a chapter before said they had 0 shot against Super Buu. But then with Kid Buu he crushes his potara and tells Vegeta he probably won't get a turn. He made the mistake about gaging SSJ3 stamina drain, but it's obvious how he ranked the Buu forms in that section of the story (Buff Buu - Super Buu - Kid Buu)
His power went up briefly because he reverted to the state of having absorbed that one battle proficient kai that was able to fight Kid Buu, after that passed he weakened severely to being back around, if not below (assuming max here), original Fat Buu
From how I see things, I see Super Buu being the full potential Buu can weild in a suitable body by himself without absorbing others to become more powerful. Kid Buu is pretty much how powerful he is without having any hinderences, yet he never learned how to access his own potential without absorbing. All of the other Buu forms (Minus Uub) are influenced by what he absorbed, even Super Buu, who still had the Supreme Kai through Good Buu. I don't know how long Buu remained Kid Buu before absorbing the Kai. Absorbing others made him mature ìn an artificial manner, and Kid Buu being pure feels like his age also reverted to a child's, which is likewise be his natural age. So Super Buu and Uub being stronger than Kid Buu makes sense. Super Buu showed his potential while Uub is the version that gets the training to access that potential without using a kind of shortcut.
No one in the show ever called kid buu the "strongest", he's dead even with Goku They say he's the most "dangerous" because he's just completely unhinged. Big difference
I also want to point out a detail that I always found interesting about when Super Buu ripped a hole to exit the hyperbolic time chamber...He seemed genuinely surprised and confused. He, like the z-fighters, takes a moment to understand that his screams alone ripped a transdimensional hole. The point I'm trying to make is that, even in the supposed most powerful state, I don't think he comprehends his own strength. Kid Buu, on the otherhand, seems to operate entirely on his vicious instincts; this is purely speculation but, even if he didn't know the extent of his power, I doubt he would be surprised to when surpassing his own limits. Rather, I think he would chaotically experiment with his destructive potential, discovering and utilizing his abilities on the fly (much like a growing child). This might be another reason why he is considered the most dangerous form as opposed to the one with the most innate power. Moreover, he seems to regress in terms of what he is aware he is capable of; his speech, transdimensional travel, and even absorption techniques are all tossed to the wayside and he reverts to using overwhelming blasts, physical form manipulation, and regeneration. It is as if he simply forgot how to perform these feats entirely and needed to relearn them. In short, Kid Buu has the exponential aptitude of a child in the critical learning period...If the z-fighters let him exist for long enough in the Kid Buu state, I have no doubts he could easily become a form of majin that dwarfs all of the other forms we'd seen up to that point. On a personal note: Can't wait to see Uub and 21 hit Dragon Ball Super when it finally returns.
I think people get it mixed up because kid buu is chaotic as hell. While super buu was having actual fights, kid buu was booming planets because he wanted to
Fat Buu (not Good Buu) was just as strong as base Super Buu, but not focused. There is no indication that there was any difference in power until Super Buu started absorbing people. Yes, SSJ3 Goku had more difficulty fighting Kid Buu, but 1. Fat Buu wasn't really hurt, 2. Strength and difficulty to fight are different things, as Kid Buu was animalistic, while Fat Buu was like a kid with hax, 3. Goku was dead against Fat Buu, so he could draw out all of SSJ3's power. 4. Buu's personality was tamed, not his power level, by the Kaioshin People forgot how terrifyingly powerful Fat Buu was.
Correct. OG Fat Buu is basically Super Buu's potential but held back by his lack of intelligence and the kai influences. Super is inverting it to evil at the base so he can actually draw on his power without moments of sheer rage.
Buuhan fought against Super Vegito and put up a great fight yet Ssj3 Goku was able to handle Kid buu by himself for the most part, except for when his power started to drain rapidly Buuhan is by far the strongest, and smartest(he had piccolo in him during that time) Kid buu is just more dangerous cause he cannot be reasoned with at all(like most kids ironically lol) *Edit* i wanted to add that South supreme kai beat the hell out of Kid buu before kid buu absorbed him.South supreme kai would have gotten evaporated by Buuhan rather fast lol
Super Vegito restrained himself to make Buuhan absorb him to free all the z fighters that were trapped inside him, he could have very damn easily killed him without any struggle at all, where did you see the good fight lol?
Sorry but there is no way Android 21 is weaker then Majuub. GT and Super's power gap is way to freaking massive. Android 21 is fighting the entire Z-Fighters who are roughly around the Universe 6 and Black storylines. Which even back in the first saga (BOG) Goku and Beerus were already causing the entire universe to disintegrate in just a couple punches which is far better then anything shown in GT.
What put the Universe in danger in DBS, is when Gods of Destruction are fighting, that was specified in the beggning of the Universe 6 Tournament when Bills and Champa were fighting, same thing happened in the Baseball episode, so it's mostly a Hax feat that happen when Gods of Destruction fight + The Shockwaves which was the result of both SSGod Goku and Bills fighting were getting larger and stronger the far they travel through the universe, and that happened because of physics rather than their strenght as well.
Uh, dude, you are forgetting how, at the very beginning of the game, it is explained that all character's powers were nerfed thanks to Gero's weird beam. That is the only reason why Yamcha and Nappa actually have a chance to fight and potentially beat the likes of Frieza and Cell.
Kid Buu is only considered the most dangerous because he's completely unhinged and cannot surpress his ki Otherwise he's only as strong as (or more likely slightly weaker than) regular super Buu aka evil buu after reabsorbing his good half

I think kid buu learning Instant transmission was out of neccessity. Super Buu wasnt really wanting to destroy everything, Kid buu wanted to kill EVERYTHING. Super Buu might have could do IT but 1 never saw it performed, and 2 never needed to quickly destroy planets quickly
During the transformation from Super Buu to Kid Buu, the power was going up because Buu was going through the form where he absorbed the buff Kai. He moved through that form though and ended on Kid Buu.
majin buu is a special case villain, we've seen the more majin buu can tap into his evil souce of power, the more powerful it is, kid buu is 100% evil, there isn't a drop of anything good in it, in that form he can use all his evil power at will, on some forms it wasn't capable of tapping into that deeper power reserves, the power was always there, to me majin buu has always had the same power level throughout the series, not taking into account the powers of the people he absorbed, only his own power level, which definitely looks it has always been the same, the difference is that kid buu can tap into his 100% pure evil power within and it is the only form of majin buu that can do that, unless he absorbed a villain that was way more mean and evil than kid buu, but lets stop for a second and think it through....what could on earth be meaner and more evil than kid buu?
While I was hoping to avoid another "all the evidence shows Super Buu is stronger" video because I've seen plenty of those and already knew that since I just paid attention while watching the show. I really liked hearing yout talk about why Super Buu being stronger than the first Buu we see despite not having absorbed anyone at this point (other than Dabura and random civilians). And I LOVE the idea you put in my head at the end by talking about Majuub by his concept. Because I'd love to see Majuub in a different timeline, with all the power he deserves. And maybe being trained by Supreme Kai to unlock even more powers locked inside him. Good Buu is the MOST underutilised character in the show, until he becomes Majuub where it becomes even more criminal that he gets instantly pushed to the side in GT. He is an ultimate personification of wasted potential. I want Supreme Majuub! He's got two kais in him!

I won't say "casual" as much as it's corny fans trynna be different. Your theory sounds solid to me given what I personally know to be true about power levels and scaling. Age and the conditioning of the mind and body do play a factor in power level and when Buu absorbs others, he gains all their capabilities, which includes additional age and conditioning. The identity stayed the same purely due to Buu having free will. I play a lot of DBZ games on mobile, and every time, android 21 is shown. She is the strongest. I mean way stronger in every way. She also makes an appearance in kakarot in bulmas lab. But good video brother. You do good work. 😊
1 thing about kid buu in the manga is this, even in the panel that you showed where it said kid buu is the most dangerous, the next panel with kibito kai said, "He lost power" when he absorbed the kais
Why Kid Buu is strongest: 1. Gohan, Piccolo, Goten, Trunks, the characters in the lookout, Kibito Kai and dozens others gave their energy but Goku explained it still wasn't enough to beat Kid Buu. Considering this is Genki energy and how insanely strong it is, Gohans group alone would have been enough if Super Buu was actually weaker. 2. When Goku says he couldn't beat Super Buu if he and Vegeta didn't fuse, he was also the size of a pea, he had no idea if he would expand once he got out, so that statement is a poor example to use. 3. Elder Kai said that absorbing the Kai's brought his power down, and that "nerf" was part of Super Buu, so why would a Nerfed version of Buu be stronger than a Pure Kid Buu with no nerf? 4. Kid Buu constantly showed instant regeneration with no signs of slowing down even though he was blown to bits likely thousands of times before he appeared on the Kai's planet. Super Buu, and Buuhan we're both getting weaker and slowing down their regen from far less damage. 5. The vast majority of video games and card games have Kid Buus power (attacks and health) being the highest of all Buus. Inferring Kid Buu is strongest. Bonus Point: Powerlevels doesn't actually tell you who is strongest. Dabura and Majin Vegeta both would have killed Fat Buu if not for his regeneration ability. While Super Buu/Buu absorptions could in theory be stronger depending on certain statements, they are not pure Buu, their regen ability is diluted. Kid Buu would outlast any of them and eventually win much like how Android 17 would likely have eventually beaten Piccolo by outlasting him. Super Buu could blast Kid Buu over and over and he'll just keep popping back, while Super Buu, who is a nerfed Buu due to the Kai's, would not
Exactly plus Vegeta tells us twice SSJ 3 Goku is the strongest Z fighter. Once against kid Buu and again in super saying he was the strongest after defeating Majin buu
@@diamantemrobinson Vegeta never said that, I read the manga recently. Unless you count Vegeta's you're number one speech, but that was more about how Goku's philosophy and attitude allowing him to achieve his potential in ways Vegeta never could.

Kidd Buu has ALWAYS been the strongest these fools just created a head cannon that they tried to push as a facts that " *SUPER BUU WAS STRINGER KIDD BUU IS WEAKER HES JUST MORE DANGEROUS* "
@@austin31697 Goku fought Kid Buu on even footing and only started to have trouble when he began running out of energy. Super Buu was a threat to people much stronger than SSJ3 Goku.
Wait so if MB and base super buu have the same power just with a better fighting body, if goku was stronger than MB in ss3, doesn't that make base S Buu just as weak or equal to kid buu?
Majin Buu is a creature formed from magic. Essentially, one of those monsters of the week from power Rangers... but actually a threat. The idea that Dr Gero was able to find a sample and reverse engineer that into Android 21- so merging magic with science - has implications I'm not comfortable thinking about. Side note, nice Bruuly on the thumbnail. Don't remember seeing that absorption, but that's a terrifying thing to contemplate.
The actual counter for goku not willing to fight super buu is the one thing people keep forgetting. Goku was still on borrowed time while super buu was around. He was already in the after life when it came to fighting kid buu. All he had left was time at that point. It was never about who was the bigger threat. It was about rather or not he would run out of time before he handled buu.
Also take into account that our heroes are tired, weakened, and demoralized. They're going up against an opponent who fights in such a way that they don't yet have an answer to. Buu is chaotic, unhinged, and not holding back. Sure he toys with them, but he also doesn't give them any real chance to recover. He's like the drunken boxer of dbz, only much more insane and mostly keeps Goku, Vegeta, and Majin Buu on the defensive.
@massdagod he never said that, the manga and the anime were not in his control half the time. He complained about is inaccuracies constantly......people are starting to notice them too. The dbz anime isn't even cannon now because of that. Buuhan is undefeated, kid buu has been defeated
Expound apound I never noticed the aging bit... but I always thought (since watching it weekly when Z was first playing in America) the "head antenna" was a symbol of Buu's power level.
As a kid myself at the time, when watching dbz I always felt kid buu was weaker. I don't recall him ever doing anything buuhan wasn't capable of (other than instant transmission) Also him being pretty unhinged was a double-edged sword. For example I cant picture buuhan falling for the spirit bomb, or at least not as easily.
Manga wise weakest to strongest: Innocent Buu, Wrath Buu, Fat Buu, Super Buu, Buuculo, Buff Buu, Kid Buu, Buutenks, Buuhan, Uub, Majuub. So kaioshin energy is negative for Buu as it is opposite his nature which is why the energy can't be used to revive Buu. So Kid Buu absorbing any Kai weakens him. In your video you left out Vegeta referring to SSJ 3 Goku as the strongest Z fighter twice. Once when Goku is fighting Kid Buu and secondly in episode 1 or 2 of DBS. Goku and Vegeta also in dbs manga refer to Kid Buu as their most difficult opponent even after Zamastu. Goku said against Buuculo he was disappointed meaning he lost interest in fighting him because of his low power level. He further states even Gohan can beat you now meaning Goku himself could but he lost interest. Later on though he was reluctant to use SSJ 3 in front of Vegeta. Also the fact Goku believed it would take the combined efforts of him, Vegeta, Gohan, and Gotenks to defeat Kid Buu proves he's much stronger than Super Buu.
17:30 Kid Buu can tear dimensional very easily! He did it during the SSJ2 Goku fight the Kaioshin planet is so big it’s considered its own dimension! And their fight was warping the planet!
There is no difference between Kid buu and Super Buu. During the Buu saga the only way a Buu can get stronger is to absorb someone. Both Kid BUu, Super Buu, and the original Fat buu Had no additional source of power inside of them. They all had equal power
Super Buu did still have an absorption though, the purified fat Buu (the manifestation of the form Buu assumed after absorbing the Grand Supreme Kai). It was Vegeta ripping out fat Buu's pod that caused Super Buu to revert into Kid Buu.
I honestly do not blame them that much, because there are misleading quotes and inconsistencies. Basically saying kid buu is stronger is relying on plot holes that goes against the logic of the narrative.
@@moodzi1322 it’s basic common sense that the Buu that has no one absorbed, contrary to Super Buu, Buutenks or Buuhan, is one the weakest. Anyway great channel and great Dragonball content, Moodzi!
@MoansAboutRNG the guidebooks for the manga chapters and episodes refer to Goku and Kid Buu as the strongest post Gohan revival. Vegeta says Goku is the only person in the universe capable of defeating Kid Buu. In DBS episode 1 or 2 Vegeta states that Goku that became the strongest in the universe. In chapter 31 I think of dbs manga which is post Zamastu and before the tournament of power Goku considers getting Uub to join because Kid Buu was their most formidable foe they ever faced even after Zamastu. So some of these things scale them above Gohan and thus Super Buu and the last one can be used to scale Kid Buu above Buuhan although I believe Buutenks and Buuhan to be stronger. Oh yeah Goku also believed that it would take him, Vegeta, Gohan, and Gotenks to defeat Kid Buu so definitely above Super Buu.
I'm only going to talk about the manga forms. Your chain is mostly correct, except I'd put Buff Buu higher than Piccolo Buu. Piccolo's power was at that point inconsequential to Buu's own, so having Piccolo, Goten and Trunks absorbed gave Super Buu maybe 1-2% more. Buff Buu on the other hand, was said to have a noticeable ki increase, which your lowball wouldn't account for, but likely not quite as high as Gotenks Buu, which effectively doubled Super Buu's power. I used to think Super Buu was as powerful as he was for only one reason - he's a fusion. A very similar one in fact to Piccolo and Kami's. Fusions yield big multipliers. But then we know that Buff Buu was even stronger, and it was only the result of Kid Buu absorbing South Kai. Which can mean a few possible things: - Super Buu didn't work like a fusion and instead just unlocked more of the South Kai power, offset perhaps by the fact that Good Buu was still pure good - one of the three: Kid Buu's absorptions are not additive in terms of power like Super Buu's are, absorbing Kaioshins is not additive like with other beings, or South Kai was just this damn strong So yeah, it's a bit messy. But to people who think Kid Buu is the strongest form while Fat Buu is the weakest, there are a few "common sense" arguments that throw a wrench in that thinking: - Mr. Buu (pure good, weakest form) was able to stand up to Kid Buu for better and longer than even SSj2 Vegeta did, meaning he's considerably less than 4x weaker than Kid Buu. Pretty narrow spread to justify having more forms than any previous villain, don't you think? - Both Fat Buu and Kid Buu were fought by SSj3 Goku and the difference between their performances was considerable at most, but not at all drastic. Goku had the same powerlevel during these two fights, in fact he had better SSj3 in the first one because he was dead at the time. That makes for an even narrower spread to justify having so many forms of Buu. If Kid Buu and Fat Buu are around the same level, how do you cram in the remaining 4 forms in between that with it making any seblance of sense?
Gohan not stronger than goku. Having gohan power does not make hom stronger than kid buu. Plus it dont make sense for the final villian to be weaker than villians before. Unless its just bad writing
1) Gohan beat up Super Buu, someone who Goku said was stronger than him. 2) It does make sense for the final villian to be weaker than his previous forms because Toriyama wanted Goku to be the hero so Buu’s power needed to be reduced. You just don’t like that it follows the pattern of previous villains. That’s not bad writing.
While not being cannon 21 is stronger then Majuub so I'm glad you mentioned it near the end, because of the specifics mentioned for her creation she has full reign over the majin powers with the benefits of being an android WITH zenkai boosts is just disgusting. If majuub was even hypothetically 10x-1000x her strength it wouldnt take next to any time for her to pass the entire cast with training. I actually think that with training she is the character with the most potential in the entire series INCLUDING Bruly ssgss S cells gohan goten and any Prodigy character
Your are mistaken. Goku could have killed Kid Buu any time as he explicitly stated SSJ3 was stronger than kid buu. What happened is that KID buu with his unpredictablity just outlasted SSJ3 goku and he could no longer maintain the form which led to the spirit bomb and restore his energy. It was kind of a plot to make kid buu last longer and cause a better impresion.
I like that you listed Majuub as the strongest form of Buu. GT power scaling appears more logical to me than Super’s does. Beyond their power levels, Fat Buu fusing with Uub is a terrific resolution to Buu’s redemption arc. Majuub is a fully realized, independent, whole, and benevolent character divorced from his bad past and the evil he was born with so as to have a better present and future. I find that special. Symbolically, I love the selflessness of Majin Buu fusing with Uub (sacrificing his independence) versus the egocentric and amoral Baby. That to me is powerful storytelling. I don’t think Super comes close to that.
I've read something on the recent chapter of the manga in super, I think in the moro arc, that, when the north kai was absorbed, the kid buu was supressed by creating the majin buu. Then when kid buu appeared again and separated itself from majin buu, he kept the god energy of the north kai, making him similar to a god of destruction. It maybe explains the greater resistance from kid buu in the battle against the trio (goku, vegeta, majin buu) even though he didn't activate the god part.
Results are more important than theoretical. Kid Buu is stronger because he wrecked everything. An MMA fighter might be physically stronger than another but if they lose it doesn't really matter.
Just a quick note on the storyline of DBFZ: there's some kind of spirit side of the story and all the characters have been nerfed and reduced in strength. There's no canon context to compare android 21 with at all. Unfortunately she cannot be listed on any list due to this because even in the dbfz storyline there's this outside factor tampering with accurate power scaling. There's no way of knowing what the level 99 power level actually is to go with standard dragonball scaling. Great video though!
If Evil Boo is forgotten how is he the most hype character for me in Sparking Zero. It’s been so long. Also I knew Super Buu was smarter than all of his previous forms. But he was even smarter than that before absorbing Gohan sheeesh. And hearing the “He doesn’t”from Buutenks for the first time it’s so HARDCORE. Especially because I’m a younger brother.
Alright Im gonna comment since i still see you replying. The biggest problem with the kid buu vs super buu debate is that most fans had established that gohan was the strongest in the buu saga but then with dragon ball super, you see toei animation, shueisha, and the kaizenshuus coming up with newer guidebooks and statements that CONTRADICT old established information from the manga/anime (some of which is laughably stupid). Theyre basically trying to rewrite the buu saga to have goku be the strongest. They put stuff like: 1. "Gotenks ssj1 was only as strong as ssj2 vegeta"
Goku straight up said he couldn't beat *BASE* Super Buu and Super Buu (who has the memories of his past incarnations) said he was the strongest he's ever been after absorbing Gotenks yet he's fine with fighting Kid Buu and was confident he could kill him if he had time to gather his ki. The only thing Kid Buu has over the other Buus is he's the most dangerous and he's most dangerous because he's unpredictable and acts on emotion and just blew up the earth without second thought opposed to the others who were willing to give a sporting chance for amusement.
Goku could solo anyone below buuhan and literally took the universe to kill kid buu oh wait he ate that spirt bomb it had to be goku+ super saiyan fully recovered plus universal spirt bomb to help fished off kid buu. Saying kid buu below anyone beside buuhann is ridiculous. Vegito was just toying with buuhan because he wanted to get his family and friends out. Plus spirit bomb probably wouldn’t work on Buuhan he had multiple people who pure heart.
@@therealomega2467 no there's no evidence indicating that gohan was. But what does gohan being universal have to do with your incorrect statement of goku using the universal spirit bomb on Buu? He never used the universal spirit bomb on buu. That move was used on omega shenron in GT.
@@therealomega2467 it depends on the move used my guy. Not just any regular ki blast is gonna blow up a planet. Spirit bombs arent meant to cause mass destruction. Kamehameha waves dont explode and cause mass destruction. Friesa's super nova is a move purely used to blow up planets. Better do more research my guy. Nice head canon though.
I feel like I see more people saying Super Buu is stronger than Kid Buu. So i am right there with you. I think it is even canon in the games, showing his power level being a bit lower than SB

Except for in the anime.
It's filler, but Buuhan had a tantrum that almost ripped apart the universe.
If we just keep it to Manga, I agree with you.
I always thought Buu's antenna grows longer after absorbing Gotenks because it slightly mimics the ssj3 hair
Me too
Ion think that's true but that's a DOPE idea bro

Antena size matter. If antena is big that majin buu much stronger than privious

@@TeamTowers1 literally all you have is the nova strike, which temporarily has Goku down and recovering in every version regardless of time.
My friend used to tell me “Super Buu is stronger than kid buu, kid buu is just more chaotic which makes him a tougher force to deal with” and that transcribed with me since as my head canon.
thats exactly what my friend told me too
And he is right, its exactly this.
Did we alll have the same friend? Lol
Kid buu basically an aggressive chihuahua while super buu is a more humbled german shepherd (don’t get me wrong, super buu still pretty dangerous)
If buu absorbs people it makes him stronger and depending how many fighters & their strength, by that logic plain and simple buuhan is stronger than kid buu. How are people missing that?
If he absorbs a anyone of pure heart it makes him weaker.Thats why he became less powerful after absorbing the Kais.
@@AaronWayne-wl2ji where is that stated
@@AaronWayne-wl2ji he became less powerful because the elder kai destroyed his brain. The only absorption that was stated to make him weaker was this one.

Great list. Super Buu is stronger than Kid Buu for sure, BUT as others have said, Kid Buu was more dangerous because he wasn't as restrained like other Buus
I agree with kid buu being weaker than super buu
I see them about equal in strength with kid buu being more dangerous (not stronger) by simply being an agent of chaos and completely unpredictable
Kid stronger
if you say that he was more dangerous - it was eng sub - in the original he was strongest, even Toriyama say that.
Nope confirmed kid buu was the strongest buu
Through the usual progression of each new iteration usually being stronger than the last, I assumed Kid Buu being the most “pure” Buu would be the strongest. But you definitely got me rethinking that entirely lmao. Great research and presentation my guy!

Even in the Saiyan Saga, Vegeta saw them do it and like
..learned it in his pod on the way to Namek.
For those of you who dont remember when Cell saw instant transmission:
1) When Goku saved Piccolo and Tien before the Cell games. (He might of used one for Piccolo and one for Tien so arriving and each save might have made this 3 times including arrival)
2) When he fled with Piccolo and Tien
3) Instant transmission Kamehameha
4) 2nd form going to King Kai (HE WAS LITERALLY TOUCHING CELL when he did it. So Cell even got to see how telepprting felt.
cell got it by absorbing goku's cells when exploding so he got his powers from after the frieza saga
Dialogue went as follows, right after Buu vanished:
Vegeta: What is he up to know?!
Elder Kai: He's jumped to another inhabited planet, several systems away!
Supreme Kai: Unbelievable! Just from seeing it once, he's mastered Kibito's transportation technique!
(Taken from DBZ: Kai)
So while it might not be something gained from a memory, it is still something he learned from witnessing. Same concept ofc. I think, in fact, this tidbit actually adds to your take on Buu's capabilities.
SSJ3 Gotenks Vs Super Buu is honestly the only evidence I need to say Kid Buu is weaker & actually by a lot.

As a kid buu fan, ill admit, I spent a piss ton of time as him throuout the games

Yes, SSJ3 Goku had more difficulty fighting Kid Buu, but 1. Fat Buu wasn't really hurt, 2. Strength and difficulty to fight are different things, as Kid Buu was animalistic, while Fat Buu was like a kid with hax, 3. People forgot how terrifyingly powerful Fat Buu was.
Correct. OG Fat Buu is basically Super Buu's potential but held back by his lack of intelligence and the kai influences. Super is inverting it to evil at the base so he can actually draw on his power without moments of sheer rage.

Android 21 is fighting the entire Z-Fighters who are roughly around the Universe 6 and Black storylines. Which even back in the first saga (BOG) Goku and Beerus were already causing the entire universe to disintegrate in just a couple punches which is far better then anything shown in GT.
Yeah I can see that
Dragon ball fighters isn't canon
What put the Universe in danger in DBS, is when Gods of Destruction are fighting, that was specified in the beggning of the Universe 6 Tournament when Bills and Champa were fighting, same thing happened in the Baseball episode, so it's mostly a Hax feat that happen when Gods of Destruction fight + The Shockwaves which was the result of both SSGod Goku and Bills fighting were getting larger and stronger the far they travel through the universe, and that happened because of physics rather than their strenght as well.
You underestimate the power level in gt. Majuub is most definitely stronger than the future trunks/ Goku black arc
Uh, dude, you are forgetting how, at the very beginning of the game, it is explained that all character's powers were nerfed thanks to Gero's weird beam. That is the only reason why Yamcha and Nappa actually have a chance to fight and potentially beat the likes of Frieza and Cell.

Kid Buu is only considered the most dangerous because he's completely unhinged and cannot surpress his ki
Otherwise he's only as strong as (or more likely slightly weaker than) regular super Buu aka evil buu after reabsorbing his good half

During the transformation from Super Buu to Kid Buu, the power was going up because Buu was going through the form where he absorbed the buff Kai. He moved through that form though and ended on Kid Buu.
He never lost power still.
majin buu is a special case villain, we've seen the more majin buu can tap into his evil souce of power, the more powerful it is, kid buu is 100% evil, there isn't a drop of anything good in it, in that form he can use all his evil power at will, on some forms it wasn't capable of tapping into that deeper power reserves, the power was always there, to me majin buu has always had the same power level throughout the series, not taking into account the powers of the people he absorbed, only his own power level, which definitely looks it has always been the same, the difference is that kid buu can tap into his 100% pure evil power within and it is the only form of majin buu that can do that, unless he absorbed a villain that was way more mean and evil than kid buu, but lets stop for a second and think it through....what could on earth be meaner and more evil than kid buu?

Plus being a magical being does grant some illogical perks due to magic never being fully explored in any Dragon Ball lore to get a full understanding of how it works.
i went absolutely nuts when you disrespected kid buu like that. my keyboard just broken

I play a lot of DBZ games on mobile, and every time, android 21 is shown. She is the strongest. I mean way stronger in every way. She also makes an appearance in kakarot in bulmas lab. But good video brother. You do good work. 😊
1 thing about kid buu in the manga is this,
even in the panel that you showed where it said kid buu is the most dangerous, the next panel with kibito kai said, "He lost power" when he absorbed the kais
I completely agree with your list. Especially Majoob at the top!
Why Kid Buu is strongest:

You gotta love how Gohan vs Super Buu [Gotenks adsorbed] fight start up. It's the throwback to Goku vs Vegeta fight back during the Saiyan saga
Wait so if MB and base super buu have the same power just with a better fighting body, if goku was stronger than MB in ss3, doesn't that make base S Buu just as weak or equal to kid buu?
Ya I dont agree with what he said on how Majin buu has the same power level across all forms.
I believe that Kid Buu’s power level is in between base Super Buu and Buutenks.
Same
Kid Buu is the strongest because the Manga/Anime/Toriyama says so.
Anything otherwise is head cannon.
@massdagod he never said that, the manga and the anime were not in his control half the time. He complained about is inaccuracies constantly......people are starting to notice them too. The dbz anime isn't even cannon now because of that. Buuhan is undefeated, kid buu has been defeated
Expound apound
I never noticed the aging bit... but I always thought (since watching it weekly when Z was first playing in America) the "head antenna" was a symbol of Buu's power level.
He has to be high because I am too.
At first I was like whoa there, but then it made sense. Kid Buu was just a straight up demon. Super Buu had that form of logic in him.
“Woah there” pretty much sums up the viewer experience on my channel lol
Their smarts is the diffrence since kid buu has nothing in his head

Super Buu did still have an absorption though, the purified fat Buu (the manifestation of the form Buu assumed after absorbing the Grand Supreme Kai). It was Vegeta ripping out fat Buu's pod that caused Super Buu to revert into Kid Buu.

Yeah you are right, Kid Buu is actually one of the weakest Buus, how can someone think otherwise?
I honestly do not blame them that much, because there are misleading quotes and inconsistencies. Basically saying kid buu is stronger is relying on plot holes that goes against the logic of the narrative.
@@moodzi1322 it’s basic common sense that the Buu that has no one absorbed, contrary to Super Buu, Buutenks or Buuhan, is one the weakest. Anyway great channel and great Dragonball content, Moodzi!
@@kirollostadross1233not really as you can find evidence of kid Buu being the strongest form of base Buu
Kid buu weak
Which can mean a few possible things:
- Super Buu didn't work like a fusion and instead just unlocked more of the South Kai power, offset perhaps by the fact that Good Buu was still pure good
- one of the three: Kid Buu's absorptions are not additive in terms of power like Super Buu's are, absorbing Kaioshins is not additive like with other beings, or South Kai was just this damn strong
So yeah, it's a bit messy.
But to people who think Kid Buu is the strongest form while Fat Buu is the weakest, there are a few "common sense" arguments that throw a wrench in that thinking:
- Mr.
Then he should have just regressed back to kid Buu earlier
Wow, everything that you said was factuality wrong, congrats!
Love the theory of the length of Buus tentacle and age/appearance representing his overall strength. Very interesting indeed.
Sp if i beat up a child and a pro fighter looses against mike tyson that makes me the strongest ? Alright

They put stuff like:
