Everyone who’s had an issue after downloading the drives without CD. You HAVE TO CONNECT THE ETHERNET CABLE TO YOUR PC! Then it will finally connect to your WiFi and will work! Just did this myself today! Please like to help others! Update: (9/12) I returned this the same week I got it best to just use an Ethernet cable.
This wifi card is a big improvement for me, I got 300mbps download speeds, but you should download the wifi drivers for this card before removing your old wifi card and putting in the new one. After that, run the installer and the wifi should work, then install the Bluetooth drivers.
I had to return my card after 5 months. Bluetooth part keep cutting out when I wake the pc from hibernation. I keep getting an error 43. This can also happen after a cold start up of the machine. Doesn't matter which of the two USB F ports on the MB I use. All latest drivers installed.
I have a major issue with the bluetooth component of this unit. Every time my computer enters hybernation the bluetooth component of device gives an error 43 in device manager. This happened both under Windows 10 Pro, build 1903 and the latest Windows 10 build 2004. Then I have to delete the driver in device manager and re-install and then bang it works again. This repeats itself no matter if I install the bluetooth driver from TP-links website or the one from intels website. It has happened so many times its starting to annyoing. The wifi component of this device doesn't seem to have an issue. The TX3000E is the device in my machine having issue. The card is installed in Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO motherboard. Is there any way to solve this problem? Or is just something that I have to live with?

I notice on this video the magnetized base is stuck to the side of the tower. Am I the only one that would be paranoid doing this considering magnets can kill hard drives?
That would not be an issue. I can promise you this much. The cobalt film coating used on almost all mechanical drives now would not be affected by this. The distance and shielding prevent this. Most computers now have either conventional SSD or M.2 or similar drives mounted directly to the system board (motherboard). Any fan in a pc is going to have stronger magnets and there are some of the strongest commercially avail nadidnium magnets that function as part of the finger actuator assemblies in each and every regular hard drive. There are 2 ea of these per drive that sit less than an inch from the platters inside the drive shell so pretty sure that magnets being used on a pc case pose no risk at all. I use magnets to hold things to my case(s) all the time. The glass panel on my gaming case is held by 4 rare earth magnets as well. N52 magnets I think. The greater risk would be to get a magnet in proximity to a conventional CRT and some panel monitors for extended periods. Either can be damaged permanently after a short time. Thank you.
Is the bluetooth signal being sent out by the antenna or is it a chip on the pcb? And if so, how is the range and is the signal stable? My pc case is pretty much open air but the whole front is a 5mm thick tempered glass hood. Also my gpu is mounted vertically and would cover the wireless card from the users perspective. Any help and experiences shared would be appreciated.
I believe that it's chip on board. It seem that it's just BT dongle circuit on that card, separated from WIFI part. That's why you have to connect BT to USB. I bought it today and I'm angry from that solution. Didn't test range of BT yet. I thought that correctly made Wifi/BT solution but who could you expect from that price.
