i didnt expect andrew to have a home i just thought he kinda lingered everywhere
LMAOOOOOOOOO
This thought never popped into my head but literally same
Omg 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
LMAO PLEASE THIS COMMENT IS SO FUNNY
I could listen to Andrew describing fruits forever
While he slaps plants
@@issasamba3801 That would be beautiful
It almost sounds like this is his first time having a lychee.
I could just listen to him talk about anything... want to talk about math? Go ahead Andrew.
Lol it reminded me of that scene in Ratatouille when Remy was combining the cheese and fruit
“Like a grape with a flower petal wrapped around it” I’ve never heard anyone describe the taste of lychee so beautifully
It was perfect
right!!
such an accurate and good descriotion
The secret ingredient is probably silken tofu. It adds a creaminess without the extra dairy. That’s probably ask why he had to drain the tofu in the sink before adding it to the smoothie.
I think you are right. I TOTALLY thought that too.
Anyone else remember when Steven made the video about wanting to befriend Andrew and now Andrew refers to them as pals 😭
Could u plis give us the link to said video? Its cuteeee
@@RosariaDewi I think it might be Steve hires a friend coach or something
I honestly love everything about how wholesome their progression has been.
“The grape is a high note and the lychee is a base note”
*mmm yes, music*
I think her secret ingredient is probably yakult or condensed milk. And for her whipped cream she probably stabilized her whip cream with gelatin or they used one of those “non-dairy whip topping base” the ones professional cooks use if you’re working in a hotel or a restaurant that’s too busy and has no time to make whipped cream. Because using whip cream in a can melts really quick. I’m just taking notes, I’m kinda curious bout that smoothie 😝
Yesss my first guess was also condensed milk hifi!
its not condensed milk or yakult its actually yoghurt
Hmm what do we know that’s thick and milky 😏
I’d drink your milkshake
@@needytuber8556 Uh is that why it had to be pixelated :/
I really appreciate Andrew's dedication to accurately describing flavours in such detail
I’m so glad you are giving (Spoon by H) the love and recognition it deserves. Because what Chef Yoon does with food has shifted my paradigm on what food could be
Watch him coming up with a book titled "The fundamentals of why something taste good"
*Andrew:* The lychee tastes like the bottom half of the grape...
*Me:* Ah yes... Grape butt
lol. And he should know since he squished a $60 grape bottom all over himself.
grutt
dude your handwriting. definitely will try this drink in the summer
I think he needed to create his own homemade whip cream because the one he was using is cheap and will melt fast, but if he created his own whipped cream than it wouldn’t melt as fast as it would with just whipped cream from a can
Absolutely. Those spray cans, even the "real cream" ones, make pretty airy (weak) whipped cream. The nitrous cartridge ones used in a restaurant can make a much denser foam, but the cartridges can be pain to find and the unit itself is pricey. If I DIY this glorious thing at home I'll do very stiff whipped heavy cream in a bowl and stabilize it, probably by sweetening with powdered sugar, which contains a little cornstarch (you can also use clear piping gel or gelatin but the powdered sugar is by far the simplest). You can pipe whipped cream from a bag with a star tip for looks & control. Minimize melting by keeping your hands off the bag unless you're piping; if you have hot hands and your cream seems to melt too quickly you can buy a reusable silicone bag or lined cloth one, or double up on the disposable plastic ones/wear gloves for a bit more insulation.
bsidethebox Exactly this.
Yes, restaurant hand whipped cream to almost-butter like consistency and chill overnight before putting them into piping bag and i believe we need to use food tweezers to plate those sliced grapes for the superb precision.
@@bsidethebox not rly pain to find here super has them
I love how Andrew is so respectful for ‘Spoon By H’s hard work 🥰
He should make his own channel about recreating foods from worth it
i mean he's just been posting them here to 50x the followers than he'd ever be able to get so eh
Your icon looks like Rags
He doesn’t have his own channel but he created a channel with Rie, Inga and Alvin called About to Eat
7:46 the way he just does it in HIS HAND, kinda terrifying, my mum wouldn't approve it. but also, kind of a power move tbh
Slavs are intense man
Master chefs: "It's simple!"
Me: ~process takes days~ *crying*
other example: xiao long bao, "First we make the bone broth from scratch..."
That step is just boiling.
Now forming a dumpling that looks nice. is a PITA
wonky123 I mean, soup dumplings are pretty easy, make the stuffing, then place some gelatin into some broth and use a small amount in the wrapper, then make the wrapper. The hardest thing is probably the wrapper
This dude would be an AMAZING interviewer.
And he's such a good presenter.
I want to watch Andrew and Sean Evans interview each other in a Hot Ones episode.
My internet crush on Andrew has gone up a bit. Must be the knife skills and penmanship.
You can appreciate a man who can write clearly in cursive
Im guessing the secret ingredient is condensed milk
i think we should just respect the chef's privacy. it's pretty gracious that she gave even a peek of her process.
@@sharonyang8822 i think that this is a joke bc most asian drinks/deserts have condensed milk
69 likes???
It's the most asian sweetener so maybeeee
@@sharonyang8822 lmao who tf cares grow up
"Hello, welcome to my kitchen."
*slap plant*
*slaps plant* this bad boy can fit so many video intros
He did surgery on a grape
I always wondered what Kim Jong-un watched in his free time. : )
Andrew describes fruits like an orchestra and i love it
Andrew back at it with the plant slapping
Lychee and grape seems like a wonderful combination. Time for you to go open up your own boba shop!😍
Bubble tea~ 😍
"Lie-chee" (the way Andrew says it) is the Cantonese pronunciation, whereas "lee-chee" is I believe the Mandarin pronunciation!
i mean.. lmao either way doesnt sound right in either language
me too everytime he said it
Can confirm am canto
In Chinese it’s 荔枝, which would be pronounced “lì zhī”, but I pronounce it “lie-chee” anyway.
In Hawaii we say lie-chee.
3:33 the way Andrew described the lychee and the grape was so poetic
Can we please take a moment to appreciate Andrew's handwriting? 😀❤
I can hear Rie, “You eat with your eyes.” Food that looks good, tastes better.
I recently went after my dream and started my own Cooking channel. I would love to share my recipes with you 👩🏻🍳🙏🏼Thank you so much and have a blessed day Rayna! ❤️🥰
@@KAITLYNTAYLOROFFICIAL I subscribed ❤🌱
@@junkmoon- ❤️❤️ Thank you love!!
KAITLYN TAYLOR I’ll definitely be going through your videos tonight. Count me as another subscriber.
I was so excited because that drink was my favorite thing on the show, its so well created and detailed.
I think the grapes should have been sliced lengthwise instead of crosswise so that the "petals" would look longer?
maybe lengthwise first and then crosswise to make it like semicircle pedal
I believe it tastes GRAPE
Aw man! I'm now really curious what that ingredient is. I've actually made a bunch of stuff from Worth it at home, and this one has been on my list. And right now the world is Petri Dish By C so I can't go to the shop myself. 😭
Also, one thing I would suggest is to use home made whipped cream next time. For anyone looking to do this, the recipe is super simple. You can even do it by hand if you don't have a mixer. Just make sure to freeze your bowl and whisk (or attachment) beforehand. It makes this really stiff whipped cream that holds up under the weight of the topping. I find the canned whipped cream is way too airy and melts really fast.
“Petri Dish By C”, a truly underrated comment! LOL
I was thinking about the homemade whipped cream. Definitely stands up better. And you nailed it with the Petri Dish by C!
I think it’s condensed milk
I'm guessing it is salt. Brings out more sweetness in foods and I heard it helps cream whip better 🤔
Ppl have been saying condensed milk, yogurt, yakult, tofu. Who knows
Andrew knocked it out of the park in his explanation with music! :)
You are literally the only reason I’m still subbed to this channel. As well as Steven and Adam of course
I never miss your videos. You have a good voice and are very clear in your instructions. Very good editing as well.
I’m considering taking a plant with me wherever I go just so I can slap it whenever I say hello to someone
Can we talk about the whipped cream proportions and the grape stacking? I’d like to start with a lower comment that says nitrogen cream is more dense and doesn’t melt as quickly? Along with homemade whipped cream?
For the stacking, I think the main attraction is the fact that it stacks on top of each additional grape, using the whipped cream as a temporary mold, but when the whipped cream collapses, the grapes should be stacked closer in order to maintain shape and a more “tight-knit” pattern resulting in the grape-flower design, unlike this attempt where it was more just sticking the grapes in the whipped cream and hoping that it sticks in the pattern that Andrew wants. Each layer should serve the purpose of supporting the next layer, as such of a sunflower, or a common rose like structure.
None the less, this is a great attempt, and I’m excited to try this at home.
He is literally his apartment like the aesthetic thooo
I see a lot of white. He must be very clean.
He's actually pretty minimal
Andrew always does such a good job recreating the foods!!! He actually tries really hard and I love that :) Thanks andrew!
Aw. I love Andrew and his videos!! Wish they did them more often!
Also great handwriting!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
"but then the inside is this beautiful *_translushent_* white flesh"
i came to the comment section just for this
Great video Andrew! I am so impressed at what you accomplish in such a tiny kitchen. It must be a real challenge after working in the Tasty Kitchens.
Can we talk about how pretty is his hand-writing :o
I am in love with Andrew and his wonderful handwriting/penmanship.
that explanation of lychee is the best I've heard we stan a poet
Andrew's handwriting though.. So gooooodd
i like the simplicity of andrew's kitchen. white everywhere feels like heaven
The editing in this video is so aesthetic.
the musical description of grape flavors was harmonic
Great vid! Also kudos for using Bolero as musical representation of grape lychee harmony.
“I think if I shoot it from some angles I can trick you into thinking it looks kinda good”
*literally my selfie technique.*
i’m literally in love with him i’m obsessed
Why the visual effect of Spoon by H has a much higher impact than Andrew's is because, the grape slices she had over the whipped creams are mostly the tops and bottoms of the grapes, which in turn has the effect of a flower petal (like the closed lotus)
Andrew's voice when he exlained this is just so inspiring!!!😲😲
Andrew, I'm already impressed with your first try of the smoothie.
i like listening to andrew describe food and smells in my free time
I love that he had The Bolero in the Background while comparing Lychee and Grape❤️❤️
Andrew doing Eating Your Feed Worth it Edition at home is the gift that keeps on giving lol
He effortlessly put together beautiful words to describe lychee
I find it funny how when he mentioned Steven and Adam, it was just them eating. And during the interview, what's up with the 80s smooth jazz going on in the background 😂
Love these!
& they’re so calming?
Do More _Andrew x Buzzfeed_
I miss you guys tasting the three different price point foods can’t wait till you guys go back to that dynamic. Adam Andrew and Steven are the best thing about buzzfeed all together
Great, I guess now I have to go to Whole Foods🛍 those grape 🍇 flowers are hypnotic 🤩 Thanks Andrew.
Lychee and watermelon are the best fruits everrrr. Lychee for the rainy season and watermelon for summer.
really pity Steven left the team. Always love those three guys travel around and provide vivid, vigorous videos.
i think you should have sliced the grapes lengthwise and putted them on an angle so they'd stack up higher all in all its close enough
when Andrew yelled: "There's my melty smoothie". my life was complete
I could watch this all day long
I think you did great! That looks delicious
I love this series! Something great to come out of unprecedented times
Lychees are my favorite. I live in amsterdam and in the winter time my dad would buy a whole case of lychees. So great!
What a poetic way to describe a buncha fruits
Loyalty award goes to Andrew. Everyone i know left, except him.
New series:
*Make it worth it*
I.....AM...IN LOVE WITH THIS DUDE
Dang Andrew ur handwriting looks like Disney font type!!! So good!
damn his kitchen is so white
how the hell does he keep it clean ???
and hes wearing white on top of that
“there’s my melty smoothie.”
“THERE’S MY MELTY SMOOTHIE.”
I love that the plant slap is a regular thing now
Petition to have Andrew start a podcast
Andrew you are the best, we all adore you
He didn't let the "Bolero" to "sink in".
I love watching him cook
( and anyone who want to recreate the grape design I would recommend that whip your own whipped cream too Stiff Peaks refrigerate it for at least 3to4 hr so that it will have a good structure capacity and it will not melt away to soon )
Andrew, you have a very nice looking kitchen. Also, the drink looks great, good effort!
The series where Andrew remakes the food should be called “Worth it: back for seconds” and the one where Steven and Andrew react, it should be called “Worth It: eat with your eyes” or something like that
I love the detail ‘ Spoon By A ‘ ☺️ I think this one is really cool homemade version 🍈🍇
Andrew is a legend
Alyssa BreAnn I recently went after my dream and started my own Cooking channel. I would love to share my recipes with you 👩🏻🍳🙏🏼Thank you so much and have a blessed day Alyssa!! ❤️🥰
KAITLYN TAYLOR just subscribed to you girl! Great job for following your dream!!!
Alyssa BreAnn Yayy!! Thank you so much girl ❤️❤️
Andrew goes from coming up with a gorgeous music metaphor for grapes and lychee to
"Do these look like my eyeballs?
⚪👅⚪
That drunk octopus though
"Hey...It's gourmet Mom. Deal with it." (🤨) Penmanship IS a highly underrated skill. Thank you for the attention to detail! (🖌)
KingBach: Comically large spoon
Andrew: Suspiciously thick spoon
"It's gourmet mom, deal with it."
He’s chaotic & agressive. And I love it
People always see parts of themselves in others when they describe them
Andrew, I appreciate your washer/dryer set.
Steven has such a crush everytime he talks about or too here he’s a different person
I meant Andrew I just woke up sorry
Seriously where can I find my own Andrew???
We should ask his GF, maybe she knows the secret
Andrew: “we have our lychee syrup from yesterday.. mm it has a warm sweet flavour, the way maple syrup does”
Me, a Canadian: you are speaking my language 😌❤️
