Prices do fluctuate over time and if Amazon run out of stock themselves then 3rd party sellers can sell at higher prices. At the moment, using the links in the video description, the XM4 is $298 and the XM5 is $348 on Amazon US.
XM5 would be better for me based on this review. I have XM4 though and I bought them from sale when XM5 was just released. I think it was the better choice back then. With the prices you showed I would buy XM5 for sure, because I am not using these headphones while travelling, but smaller earbuds. Although, I think XM4 will again go significantly cheaper in black friday sales than XM5. The biggest downside of these headphones for me is the lack of physical buttons. These touch interfaces are just not working well when laying on bed and therefore I have put them off and I use my keyboard to control volume and change songs. Also, the earcups could be deeper, because these start to hurt my ears when I use them for hours. Although, I think that headphones shouldn't be used that long time anyways and I have decent speakers, therefore it is not too big of a deal for me.
love your videos! keep it up! just a question right now on amazon why are they like $428 for the xm4's?

What rank do u think that wh xm5 stands at? (S,A,B,....)
Overall I think it's a pretty solid A tier. There are some things it does better than others, but overall they're a great pair of headphones.
