- In today's episode, I'll share how the orchid seedlings are doing. It's been about a year since I started flasking orchids from seed. It's also been about 4 months since I replated the orchids, putting them in new containers so that it has new nutrients and hopefully, speed up growth. Let's check back and see what's changed.

I started early summer and you were one of the early flasking videos I watched. Glad to see you have some 'successful' ones! It is a learning curve, and get better each time. I've done it on the super cheap with pressure cookers from garage sales, and homemade clean boxes from old clear plastic tub. I've since added a MERV 16 filter to run my fan through and cheap on Ebay. So far with just my MERV 13 air purifiers I was having about 30% failure so got a better filter so time will tell!.....Happy flasking!

I use a home made, cheap glovebox and my rate of success is getting really satisfactory! Around as little as 5 - 10% failures over contamination. My videos are in Portuguese, but I am translating and voicing them over in english, little by little!
