I love every one of these ideas. I trend toward the natural trend - getting away from glass showers ❤❤❤❤ I love every accessory that adds beauty and the new storage trends !!!!
You have obviously done your research and made a well organized presentation. In the spirit of helping you improve your channel, review your video and count how many times you have used " you know". And I thank you for some interesting content.
Awesome!! One has to accept that these are rather fanciful renderings of where design is going (aka - you have more money than you know what to do with to actually have a bathroom like what is shown. ) Some of these bathrooms are bigger than some of my secondary bedrooms.). Love the move to more colour that seems to want to bring the outdoors in. Soft, pretty, soothing and/or rustic as your heart desires. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the idea of putting storage in the tub area. Hell, more storage everywhere. I have always found it a bit frustrating when you look at these pictures and it's like we are supposed to believe that no one uses soap, toothpaste, deoderant, brushes, hair products, make up and so forth. Or a plunger or toilet bowel cleaner brush. We ALL do use these things, so why not, in 2023, strap on our designer adult pants and deal with it!!! Yaaaayyyy for stylish, functional storage. 🤩
We are planning on doing odd mirrors for the bathrooms, toilet colors, lighting and sinks. But keeping the rest standard traditional like tubs showers and toilets.
The open shower (concealed behind a wall) is probably great in hot parts of the country, but seems a little chilly in colder areas. Do people eventually put up a shower curtain to keep the breeze down, and just buy a new one when it gets dirty?
Not to mention high maintenance. A mirror that extends beneath the sink to the floor - how do you clean that? Open shelving - dust collectors. Open showers - too chilly. Beautiful floral arrangeents taking up counter space - where do your toiletries go? These designs are definately for people who have someone to clean up after them. Not for real people doing real bathroomy things.
The Zellige tiles are everywhere which means they'll be out of trend in a year or two. Someone suggested in another video that they were 'timeless' but up until 6 months ago I'd never seen them before 🤨
couple of comments off the top: you have an excellent tile resource in Toronto at Cercan Tile who offer a very similar tile to the Zellige Tile. You mentioned Collingwood ski resort so I am assuming you are in Toronto. Also with regard to storage; where do we put the mop after we have cleaned the shower/floor. I have been looking for a good design that incorporates a waterproof materials to store the cleaning supplies away. Rather than just a cabinet that takes on the wet and degrades over time. Love your channel.
Thank you for this video. Where can I find videos of REGULAR homes? I find it hard to imagine pieces in my own regular space when they are in these elaborate homes.

Love this! Agreed, more storage is better.... I bet you open up even one drawer in these pictures and it is a disaster inside :P
This was so helpful for homeowners.
Best unique feature for a 2024 bathroom, for me, would be that sauna I’ve been dreaming of for 40+ years…not gonna happen!!💕
Thank you for sharing a "cheat sheet" for mixing metals.
Your very welcome!

Definitely make your own storage.
Love storage in the bathroom space!
Do you have a minimalist ideas for home design or decor? Would love to see some ideas.
“Car wash showers” are nice, but I love the frameless glass doors. They are elegant, pristine, timeless.

I like my sisters shower it has glass about 4 1/2 feet up and then glass, The best of both worlds.
Yay! Thank you! Love your videos
Thank you so much for the kind words :) I am glad you are enjoying them. Next week Kitchen Trends!
Great explanation and demo for me! Thank you!
I found those bathrooms were so high-end that mere mortals like me would never have anything like it.

I didn't hate the tub storage. I also thought you were going to say store stuff IN the tub, haha!

Zellige tiles date back to the 10th century it is a form of islamic art and architecture and has a long history
..And design your bathroom the way YOU want it…just stay with neutral cooler colors if you don’t want a dated room real quick!
Damn, I know im an adult now where my biggest fantasies are about remodeling a hypothetical bathroom in my hypothetical home I live in
what about medicine cabinets ? yay or nay? can you help practically and make a video for where to store toothbrush's and such with kids?
This was so helpful. Also, I love your voice.
Thank you so much!

I see a lot of these elements as impossible to clean, too many nooks and crannies highly textured surfaces for mold & mildew to take over.

Natural wood or rough stone wall in a shower area what could go wrong?! 🤯🤣
Most of these “trendy” changes are just for the sake of being different. They don’t fit in most average homes.
I think when updating your home it should go with the rest of your home.
Those enclosed showers look like they came straight out of a B rated horror film or a true crime documentary. They're giving me a panic attack.
Trendy doesn’t age well always, classic is best.
Nah I don’t see the glass shower going anywhere. I’d add tankless toilet to the list
This is the imagery bathroom. Who will have a bathroom like that? Take a shower and leave.
