    Great video. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Totally relate to reading straight through the 0lays in order to understand them. My advice to anyone getting into Shakespeare is to read two plays through before reading the play they really want to read.
The authorship question was an enjoyable section. Although I still am on the traditional side if the argument. All of the questions find relatively simple resolution when one accepts that a great mind wouldn't struggle with the obstacles. And whoever wrote the plays of Shakespeare most definitely had a great mind. 😃 400 years from now, some might wonder how a Post Office clerk could come up with the Theory of Relatively. But Einstein did. Still I love the discussion.
This video also made me want to scurry off and read Coriolanus and Pericles too.
Thanks so much for this Shelby!!! And thank David for me too ❤

Thanks Tristan 🥰🙌 YES I’m fascinated by the authorship question. I’m hoping to do a follow up interview with David where we chat about that specifically. He has done so much research on the topic over the years, so I’m going to get a few more books about it under my belt and then pummel him with all the questions! Have any you’d like me to ask him? Anything you’re always wondered about?
That’s so exciting to hear you’ve read straight through all the plays! I’m hoping to do it around the holidays this year if I gift myself a wee break 💙📚📚📚
Thank you for watching and commenting and for spreading Shakespeare joy yourself! ✨
