Originally from Kathmandu, now a foreigner somewhere else, am always intrigued to see an outsiders perspective of my place. I find yours borderline. Yes, the city is interesting and yes, the old back bend eventually but it is most certainly not from drinking water and that posture, the one depicted on the dhara is a proper one, used by women all over the world. If you gaze properly, the back is flat, the butt high, just how it should be. I am a woman from there and I find the ladies there beautiful and friendly and I doubt anyone is particularly trying to pick you up, not in a bad way. They are just hospitable folks and friendly. They like their billion gods and yes, there is a day they do puja for their rides too. Not a bad thing eh?
Haha, yes, I would agree that our perspective is 'borderline'!😄Kathmandu is an amazing, lively city and the people are certainly very hospitable and friendly. I personally feel drawn back there again and again because of the unique atmosphere. Keep in mind that most of this is supposed to be 'comedy'. Thanks for your thoughts!
