It's scary where things are going. A father here was recently arrested for a hate crime, held in jail for a few weeks and fined $30,000 (an incredibly large amount).
What was his hate crime? His 13 year old daughter, with a long history of mental illness, just this year got convinced by the school gender propaganda that she was trans. So she wanted to get irreversibly changed into a boy (and become infertile for life) and he refused to support it because he wanted her to wait until she's an adult when she can be sure.
An act of pure parental love and protectiveness is now a "hate crime" because governments know what's better for your kids than you do.

It's seeking validation from others, which is the absolute lowest form of validation available. If you love someone of the same sex, or are simply attracted to the same sex, then so be it. Why on earth would anyone need to run around celebrating that they're automatically lumped into this certain group simply because of who they're attracted to. You won't find heterosexuals running around saying "Yes, I'm part of the Hetero community. Oh, and we're hosting a pride parade this weekend to celebrate it, where we'll all be running around in thongs and strap-ons, so bring the kids."
It's just pathetic desperation from people who don't truly love themselves, so they're seeking..., no, DEMANDING the approval from others.

Hi from the UK where this all happened. The Police have been ridiculed over this. Policing in the UK is under severe scrutiny at the moment as all 43 separate forces currently have an abysmal record on combating crime. A crime was not committed here and the Police had no legal justification to act on this. At Pride celebrations in the UK, the Police paint their cars with the Pride colours, put on nail varnish and dance in the parades. The latter is all true. Meanwhile my nieces husband was violently assaulted outside his home and despite a call to them, the Police never turned up.

It's actually impossible to misgender someone, on their worldview. Since an objective definition is never provided for terms like "man" or "woman", on transgenderism, no one can ever be correct/incorrect while using these terms. Ironically, it's only those of us who *reject* their worldview who can accuse someone of "misgendering" another in a coherent way.

In my head, being left and lib meant the same it meant in 1980 - open discussion without judgment, political and religious exchange without fights, actual free speech (aside from defamation, insulting, etc) and the Motto "live and let live".
Over the years the left-lib has become so toxic... I always think of political views as circles; the more you get to the extreme, the more you will act like you adversary.
    I. E. The left in 1980 (in my understanding), generally, did not shut you down for your opinion, the right did. Now in 2022 the left AND right silence your opinion, forcing you into conforming their views.
As of last week I decided 2 things: I am consider myself middle of the political spectrum and I don't support the current lgbtq+ movement. And I will not wear any LGBT acknowledgement stuff (pride/rainbow flag) on anything outside my house.
I obviously stay Bi, that's not gonna change, but I distance myself from feelings>facts.

Police like the ones in this video are absolutely terrifying. They come across like smooth-brains who have expended all of their effort into learning a very limited, very rigid set of words, without even comprehending the full meaning of what they're saying, let alone being equipped with the initiative to think beyond it. And yet they have the power to turn up in a group, arrest you and take you to the station for 'causing someone anxiety'. I've had difficult but necessary chats with family members in the past that, in the moment, caused me and probably them 'some anxiety'. Does that mean we live in a world where we can call for each other's arrest? Behave. What a frightening, frightening precedent this risks setting. The idea they wasted even one officer, let alone a unit, on someone taking offense to an internet disagreement, regardless of how big, how small, how 'offended' the other person was, is actually ludicrous. How these police direct that dismissive energy, like a teacher telling off a naughty student, over a difference of opinion, using that as justification for why they're arresting a man so innocent of any crime, it is just very, very disturbing. The absolute definition of thought police. Great content Misha, astonishing that this has to be said.

so great ! as usual, absolutely majestic lol. It gives me hope as a young man to see/hear, such strong, independent, sane, criticaly thinking, beautiful young lady. Misha really makes me proud of America again, one would hope that wonderful examples of modern women, such as her, will inspire many more girls to reject any narrative that is pushed upon them, and make up their own mind.

Unfortunately there is a law that allows for it. It originally was used for threats in telecommunications, and social media was added to it. So yeah, their law allows people to be arrested for “grossly offensive statements”. That’s ver batim

What about the anxiety of the poor man who was arrested. Perhaps the police should also be arrested.

Imagine being so self involved and self important and spiteful that you actually have the nerve to phone the police and get someone in trouble as you know it will. It's like running to the teacher and telling tales .The victims of this nonsense should have the right to know who snitched on them.

Thank you for being a voice of reason, I really appreciate it. It all feels so insane at the moment, and I honestly feel so overwhelmed by it all. How can people simply ignore biology, support a cult like agenda, and even worse, involve children? They shouldn’t be questioning there gender identity, they should be swallowing dirt or whatever seven year olds do - it all makes me sick to my stomach. Anyway, thank you again for being so good on this topic, it’s so refreshing to see. Also, this is definitely not relevant but your garden looks gorgeous! :)
