What kind of balancing machine do you have?
Can you change balance positions?
The residual amounts for dynamic balancing so that the crankshaft counts down on the static balance?

Hi Ed, the machine is made by jp dynamic balancing, do you mean taking the weight off different counter weights?

I have a Winona Van Norman EB1800XL Balancer.
The wheel on it is 0 to 100, 3.6°
So on V8s the counterweight are 180° apart.
I end up usually around 2grams per end.
I try to get the imbalance 180° apart.
So when you static it counts down.
The right end subtracts from the left end, so on and so forth.
I was curious if your balancer worked this way.
I know a man in S.A. he has a JP Balancer.
