Lucky to have a bottle of *Reflection 45* and it smells as expensive as it is, pure luxury and class! Trying montobacco intensivo on skin today and it's beautiful! Black Iris is ridiculously good!
Carlisle, Carlisle, Carlisle... I love wearing this casually during the day in the winter A put together casual on a sunny winter day and Carlisle just lets you know it's with you and people ask about it constantly...
I would say as far as patchouli forward men's fragrances go, Psychedelique by Jovoy and Van Py Rhum by Lorenzo Pazzaglia are both a big step up from Coromandel. Interested to see what you would make of them.
I managed to get Xerjoff 40 Knots (50ml) for £120 and what a steal, I'm planning on ordering their sampler because it seems like an interesting brand and I'd like to try more of their scents because I'm very happy with this one.
I think the trend today is to hype cheapies and clones, but then, as their nose develops, people are left with shelves full of crap that they don’t wear and is worthless to sell and ship. Much better to have fewer fragrances that are higher quality.
Carlisle is still my signature along with Dior Homme Parfum. It hasn't gotten me many compliments yet but the way this fragrance makes me feel like a boss is what puts it above the other scents in my collection
@@SchoolOfScent That's how it's supposed to be. Wear fragrances for yourself first and foremost. I personally also love Bentley For Men Intense. A lot of people around me find it repulsive but i don't care. Could you do a video on unique rugged masculine scents like the kind of BFMI? Would be interesting to see your selections
Unfortunately discontinued, Tom Ford's Fougere D'Argent is one I would gladly spend north of $200 to get another bottle. My personal favorite from TF, it is simply classy, yet compliment pulling at the same time.
Excellent. I have several of these. Notably, I like wearing 40 Knots in Fall/Winter and will be wearing 1819 to a November wedding because the bride loves it on me. I have collected frags for decades and have cheapies as well as high-ends, which I wear sparingly. I’ve been watching and reading you for years and I appreciate your taste level and diversity of appreciation. You educate amateurs as well as enthusiasts. Thank you.
Great video, I recently tried xerjoff 40 knots and I will be definetely getting it soon. Also, I'm wondering what do you think of xerjoff starlight, is it worth it for its price?
You said it, its kinda hard to take you serious when you where gifted half of the perfumes you showed. If I was gifted a luxurious 500€ fragrance I would also say its worth it BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY FOR IT 😂😂😂
I have a sample of reflection 45. Amazing! I feel like a king when I spray it on. I also got montabaco intesivo based on your recommendation. Elegance in a bottle! Carlisle smells awful when I spray it on my skin, but the dry down is amazing! I need to try the xerjoff
Blind bought Xerjoff 40 Knots and I could not disagree more. Not a safe blind buy. I’m 27 and it seems too much mature of a scent in my opinion. Not worth 200+
Sorry to inform you man but 40 Knots was recently discontinued. I heard it from the head manager of the Xerjoff boutique In Nemien Marcus. They just released 2 new ones though “White on White” and “Erba Gold” which smells like a different Erba Pura.
Hey i was wondering if you have any recommendations for a more luxurious version of versace pour homme? I love the fragrance but i want something more rich but still the same smell and vibe
Being a fragrance enthusiast, I have often found myself struggling with the urge to buy full bottles of my favorite scents. However, after much contemplation, I have come up with a solution that works for me. I have started buying 2, 5, or 10 mL decants instead of full bottles. As a result, I now have a collection of about 40 fragrances, including clones, designer and niche scents. I find it more practical to have a variety (>50) of smaller decants than a few full bottles of just a few fragrances. This strategy has been working great for me for the past 6 months.
You don’t need 50 decants… just buy full bottles of your top 5-10 out of the 50, and to say you have a fragrance in your collection when it’s just a decant is a bit misleading
I would like to sniff reflection man 45, but i cannot find a single niche perfumery shop in my country that have a bottle of it... Not even a single one... And risking to purchase the discovery set for 70$ just to have 4ml of 2 scent i'm not interested in and just 4ml of 2 scent i'm curious about but that i can potentially dislike, is killing my brain... What do i do?...
Great Video Omar. I am really moving to quality over quantity in my collection and I will definitely get samples of all of these. I didnt care for Carlise in store, but will try again. Herrod is on my short list though.
Amouage Opus XIV: Royal Tobacco. The apex predator of Tobacco scents imo. 100ml costs 370€ in my country and it’s worth every penny, 2 sprays and you have nuclear frag that lasts 18+ hours
How does the original reflection man compare to reflection 45 to you? I have to original and absolutely adore it, but don’t know if it’s worth “upgrading” to the 45. Would love your insight!
What do you think about buying Layton in 2024 ? I’ve smelt it blind and didn’t smell anything I I’m not too sure if they have reformulated the fragrance or is it worth getting now?
Xerjoff symphonium is my top pick not only the chocolate and orange that it has smells so smooth but the oud makes it interesting smells expensive and is worth it in my opinion that and black phantom
Your perfumery selection here is like whipped cream with expensive cognac, I have tried in one of charming Stockholm's restaurants. I fully agree, some creations have a fair high price tag.
Great video. It seems to me all the fragrances is all I need. They are for all seasons. Great quality over quantity. 3-4 sprays is all it takes to have a great smell over you only after you have taken a shower. I own Xerjoff 40Knots, and yes, it is an absolutely great fragrance. I must say my favorite fragrance is Red Tobacco. One thing that I have figured out, is that, I really like wearing a different fragrance on a daily basis. I currently own 23 fragrances and I feel that maybe ten more would be all I need. Not sure if this will be possible.
where can i get samples of these more unique fragranecs? I never heard of any of them.. personally i like tobacco vanille and creed aventus for expensive ones
That is over $200 👀 But I get what you mean, some fragrances are worth it my friend, it’s up to each of us to hopefully sample them and decide for ourselves 😊 (Excellent price on GS by the way)

My list would be and some of these are only available in 50ml so do come up above 200 per 100ml And funnily enough I was going to say Xerjoff 40 knots Soprano Erba Pura Toni Iommi Naxos Lorenzo Pazzaglia PAX Van Py Rhum Summer Hammer PDM Haltane Pegasus Exclusif Sedley Percival Aaron Terence Hughes Hard Candy & Hard Candy Elixir(both these replace Layton) S!ut Elixir Oud Noir Onyx
@@danielhayes8572 Yeah he is thinking about stopping Legend also. Basically something bad happened all around the same time he was making them and the smell reminds him of what happened. He did say he maybe will keep legend in his last live stream. Still Maverick and Forbidden were worth the price discussed in the video even though Maverick came in just under £200 per 100ml it was worth the mention. In fact Legend is roughly the same price and deserves a mention. Such a lovely refreshing fragrance. Like clean cool air. Oh another to add is Haze Extreme. Lovely fragrance.

For me. Xerjoff monkey special is one of the best fragrances out there. As well as killian angels share. Nothing else. Comes close spice wise.
Does xerjoff monkey special smell like a monkey?

Amazing! And yes starlight is, I would compare it to Herod personally and I would rather purchase starlight
What about Psychedelique by Jovoy? That one it's so strong that at every spray I have to wait a minute or two to get more soft on my skin.
