I found Primeval on Netflix by accident and I totally fell in love with it. Not just the show but all the cast and their little quirks. It really sucks to find a show that you love and want to follow and then find out it's been taken off. WTF don't they want a popular show on BBC??? Primeval New World is okay but can never replace the original. We need Hannah and Andrew back and even Nick. Love the way they play off each other.

The writers want to continue the original show however ITV hasn't renewed it as of yet. I think this show could be really good as long as they have the continuity perfect and lots of references and cameos to the old show.
Primeval started in Britain it should have stayed here!! America has a bad habit of stealing the idea or copy righting British shows being human is another example!!!!

Stargate Universe was startet, and Stargate-Atlantis was ended. And as you see, SGU didn't survive, and was cancelled just after 2 seasons. I really hope that doesn't happen to Primeval!
It hasn't been officially cancelled since ITV reversed their decision after series 3. It just hasn't been renewed for a sixth season. There's still hope (albeit much more faded now).

New World is better than the original in my opinion. It really showcased how little control normal people would have over the anomaly situation if it fell into their hands. And the cameos from the ARC make it all the more awesome. It was more emotional, and the soundtrack was WAY better.
I disagree with you on that. The original is better. The soundtrack is way better in the original show that this one to. Make more money! :P (and continue the universe) :P And ITV hasen't said that there wont be a new series, they haven't said anything in fact. But like I said, a spin off can be good if done right. I don't understand the concept of cancelling a popular show, just to make a spin-off with basically the same topic... Didn't worked with Stargate Universe, won't work with Primeval... its just a stupif idea. Still, I will watch it, and hope all the best for it! peace!
new world is going to be canadian... us yanks are ruining this one... and lets be honest the american office is wayy better than the uk version. and why do you care if you guys make a good show that you like and the we remake it and you dont like it? its not like you have to watch the american versions get over it. our shameless is way better... that isnt even right our shameless is shameless the original is so unbelievably terrible with not ONE attractive person. but thats typical with brit tv

Why not sent Connor. He one of the best characters in this show. To be fair he a different person now since series 3 of the original series.

ITV didnt want to renew the series for a new season and so they cancelled the UK show, the new show is not result of that
