Ok, so I haven't really been watching Primeval New World as closely as I did the UK version. With that said I've only actually watched the first and last episodes (with Connor) but plan to watch to entire season soon.
This video is my tribute to Connor Temple's small return in PNW. Even though he's not a big part in this series, I really like how Connor understands Evan's pain and frustration while still providing the voice of reason. It shows how much the character has grown since Primeval's first season. Connor is kind of like Evan's own Professor Cutter. ^_^ That's just my opinion. Enjoy and feel free to comment!
(Voiceovers)
Connor: Mr. Cross, do you have a minute?
Evan: Who are you?
Connor: Honestly, sir, it's probably better if you don't know that.
Evan: Then help me.
Connor: I can't. Listen, I'm breaking the offical Secrets Act just by talking to you at all.
Evan: Secrets Act...
Connor: Yeah.
Evan: People are dead. My best friend is one of them.
Connor: I know...and I'm sorry.
Connor: But the stuff you've been messing with is...unbelieveble powerful. That means other people are gonna want a piece of it and trust me that...has a way of ending badly.
Hall: Load the creature up.
Connor: Evan.
Evan: I know.
Evan: Thanks.
Connor: Don't mention it.
Evan: You gonna tell me who you are this time or are you just going to disappear again without giving me any answers?
Connor: My name's Connor Temple. Anything else is gonna have to wait. We've got another man to find.
Ange: Look, what if I could use them...to change things for the better? Save a lot of heartbreak. Evan might never even know.
Connor: You wanna save Evan's wife? Well, I've got a wife, too. And I really, really wanna see her again. If you go messing with stuff that happened six years ago, maybe I never even met her. Maybe you'll break more than you'll fix. You have to think about that. Trust me...you'll be sorry.
Connor: You just have to put everything back where it came from. You understand?
Evan: Understand? You say that like it's so easy.
Connor: Oh no, it's not easy. Not even a little bit.
Connor: What's worse is knowing how it was supposed to be...being the only one that remembers.
Mac: It could drive you mad.
Connor: Yeah. It could drive you mad.

Connor in the black coat and beige trousers reminds me of Cutter in the early days when he also wore those colors together.
Gamma Pavonis VII This version of Conner is older, wiser, and more experienced. I've always felt like he's this group's Cutter, even though he only showed up in two episodes.

I love how Angie can't even bring herself to look at Connor. It's like she's afraid to see what she'll find there.
Andrew Lee Potts is an amazing actor. He adds depth to his characters in a way that no one else can. This man would make an amazing Doctor. (most people would know what I'm talking about)
Yeah Andrew plays every character that I've seen really well he did say in an interview that the character of Connor Temple fit him like a glove and that he could be more of him self and you can really see that, he did put a lot of him self into Connor

It's almost like she knew her plan was flawed even though her heart was in the right place and Connor just reinforced that it's a bad idea to mess with timelines. Andrew would make a great doctor. David is probably my favorite doctor so far but I believe Andrew would bring a new dimension to the character as each new actor does. :)

So Connor finally married Abby, dressed like Cutter, and guided the next generation. He's come a long way from the immature, over-excited geek we saw back in 2007.
Yeah, the series did a really good job at showing how much Connor grew over the years, especially after Cutter's passing.
Definitely. One thing I think Primeval was good at, looking back, was character development. Everybody seems to get an arc, and Connor's (and Lester's) was one of the most visible and most impressive.
I need a prequel to Primeval: New world. I need to see what happened to Connor, Abby, Matt, Jess, Becker, Lester and that Victorian girl... Her name... I forget. But I think I know what happened. At the end of the last Primeval series Matt forgets his phone and gos to get it. He meets a scratched and bloody Matt down the hallway. He tells Matt: "You have to go back,". Then the Victorian girl comes up behind him and asks if he's okay. Matt turns, and then turns forward again. The other Matt was gone. Now, I was told by Connor Temple that you need to put everything that comes through the anomalys back through. But Matt didn't go back through. This changes things. It could be that the future was saved or they needed Matts help there. Or what if it stays like that? This could mess up the timeline ultimately ending in Matt changing something so he wasn't even born. That's proberbly what happened to Matt. Connor, he could have gone through an anomaly and came back through to find everyone replaced. Or possibly not putting a Dinosaur back through. Use Mac as an example. He joined the A.R.C and went on doing that stuff. He chases the Albertosaurus to the anomaly with Connor and the rest. The albersaurus gos back through, the other dude gets to close, Albertosaurus comes back but then realising that there set up right in front of him, he turns, smacks the other dude into the anomaly, Connor and Mac go through to find him. They find him. Bring him back to the junction. But Mac, stays to fight the Albertosaurus he sees Brook being eaten by the Albertosaurus and he tackles Evan to the ground saving him from it. He aims for the Albertosaurus but it slams him into the wall. Mac then shoots the Albertasaurus, it gos through the anomaly. Evan try's to pull Mac back through, anomaly closes, Evan gets a name: Mac Grendal and then Mac dies. Evan freezes him, and gos to London (I don't know how he knew Mac lived there or his address) and knocks on macs door, and Mac answers. Evan offers him a job, Blady Blady Bla, They work on anomalys, Mac finds out his body is Frozen in the basement, he freaks out, Blady Blady Bla, they go to junction, waiting for the other Matt to save Evan through the anomaly, but he doesn't come. So Mac jumps through in his army uniform with an assault rifle. And saves Evan. That changed quite a lot. Also Mac could have survived this time, as the assault rifle wasn't thrown through like the gun Mac was using when he was with the A.R.C, so I hope he survives, and helps Evan out. You see how this could change? Anything could happen
Tom's Trailers Wow, you've really thought this out. Yeah, I would have loved an explanation on what happened to the original team between series. Especially since it was shown that Connor had a new field team and he was in command.
@@QuickWhitStudio you know I think this Connor is a future version of him so I think now at this point they where going to show on the UK one how he and the other team got to this point and how he became leading a new field team.
My thoughts are that he was time jumping from the future to the past (Based on the knowledge he has, I believe the current Connor is a few years ahead of Evan's team). He originally went into the anomaly to retrieve a teammate that was forced through and ended up in the "anomalies crossroads". I don't believe he intended to "anomaly jump" as much as he did in that episode. It just happened.

This is a good video I never saw the primeval new world series but that's good to find out through the comments that Connor was in two episodes of Primeval new world I like that in this video it was like Connor was the teacher because he had to tell the new world team about how to handle the dinosaurs and put them back where they came from. it was really nice that Connor and Abby got married :)

Yeah...everytime Connor warned someone about the possible consequences of messing with the anomolies I got the feeling he was remembering his own mistakes from season 5. ^_^ I almost put in more Cutter clips when he was talking to Mac about "being the only one who remembers how things were supposed to be and it driving you mad" but I couldn't cover up Andrew's quirky smile.

I'm really scared of Abby being dead or Connor living in another timeline, because Connor said to Ange in Episode 13 that he hasn't met his wife 6 years ago, but in Episode 1 of Season 4 in Primeval Lester said they begun studying the anomalies 5 years ago. Episode 13 of Primeval - New World has to play after the marriage of Connor and Abby (if she's Connor's wife), but they met each other at least 5 1/2 - 7 years ago!:(

You know, I kind of miss those things from the original series. It would've been interesting to see Evan's team deal with them.
I say "for the moment" because I've heard different things. Some people say it's cancelled for good, some think it's only on a short break.
I hope its a short break because i enjoyed :)
save Evan's wife, and accidentally alter the events/timeline that would have led to Connor and Abby meeting. I think that's what Connor meant when he was warning Angie in the last episode. Hope that helped and I didn't confuse you.

The way I understood their conversation was Connor telling Angie that he might not ever meet his wife if her team messes with the timeline and saves Evan's wife. I believe Connor is from a future timeline a few years further than when New World takes place. Primeval season 1 characters may not have started discovering their anomalies until a year of two fter Evan's crew started with theirs. With this logic, it's possible for Angie's team to go back to 6 yrs before their current time, .......

During the New World series? I assume she's still in London where the original ARC is based and possibly a different timeline than when the rest of this series is set in. I read somewhere that she might've came in as a guest role (like Connor) in the second season but the show has, for the moment, been cancelled.
No, I believe Abby is still alive. I read somewhere (can't remember where at the moment) that the show was going to bring Abby in as a guest star (like Connor) but the show was cancelled before they could.

Although I appreciate you helping out a follower watcher, I would prefer it if you could find a calmer way to express your disapproval of the new primeval series. I am a fan of the original series and in truth haven't watched much of the new series, however, I would prefer that comments at least stick close to an opinion of how good/bad the video that I put together may be. I respect everyone's opinions but I just don't want an original vs. new comment war here. Thank you for understanding! :D
Ok might be off subject but I really need help can anyone tell me see the ARC jacket that Connor has on in new world can someone tells me what it's called please I'm looking to buy one but I need it's name to look for it so thank you if you help but please do ????????

Primeval New World was a good show that was unfortunately mediocre for it's first half a dozen episodes or so. Once it hit its stride it was great, but it took its time getting there and that got it canned. :(
TV Networks really aren't giving SF shows enough time to find their feet nowadays. SF shows need more ramp up time than any other genre. Can you imagine if Star Trek: The Next Generation had only had half a season to prove itself?

What happened to Abby did she die
Dans Animations Abby is still alive, just back in her and Connor's original timeline. She was supposed to eventually be a guest star like Connor but the show didn't get picked back up (as far as I know).
Did that happen in the old primeval episodes
Dans Animations All of the color clips are from the spinoff show Primeval New World. The b&w clips are from the original Primeval series. The original show ended with Connor and Abby happily together. The spinoff had a new cast where Connor only showed up briefly in the first and last episodes.
+Dans Animations Personally I choose to believe she's currently on maternity leave. ^_^
The only good thing about the crappy remake.
