Train spotting at Doncaster station 8/8/2024
Today was one of the best days spotting I have had at Doncaster.
I got lucky seeing 44871 steam train and 47815 passed twice.
A couple of nice livery class 800s.
66779 evening star.
And many other operators running today from GBRF DB Cargo to Freightliner.
69001 also made and appearance today too.

Nice to see a Crewe built steam loco, still going strong at nearly 80 years old. I wonder how many new diesels will last that long.

Very very few I would imagine. Nothing beats sights and sound of those beautiful steam engines
