  • Esteemed Qigong Grand Master Ken Cohen on the state of play regarding your health and how fundamental Qigong movements and meditations can underpin everything you do.
    Visiting the UK for the first time in 17 years, Ken brought the Primordial Qigong sequence to Bournemouth in June 2015, and has returned regularly since.
    This sequence is one I practice often as a mainstay for the rest of my Qi-play. It offers such deep and robust support and can help you too.
    Master Ken has authorised me to share this form after my intense training in it over the years and adhering to the 100 days of continuous practice. I am ever grateful, in humble appreciation and in good health and would be happy to share with you, if you are interested to learn.

      So good, yes! I still enjoy his teachings and learn something more each time I dip into his book The Way of Qigong - a Masterpiece

    I think these movements could help physical, mental & spiritual recovery after a particular situation we've all been forced into over the past 2 & 1/2 years. Detox your organs & provide your own greatest reset. 💛

      Totally agree. I love and appreciate running this form, it's part of my daily repertoire for mind body soul sanity! How about you?

    Thank you for bringing to us Master Cohen who's talking as well as writings are always enjoyable and very instructive. And for the wonderful piece of music. I guess it was subjected to some good amount of qi projection :)

      @rodleaverton 7 лет назад +2

      Clara Apollo I haven't trained with him in-person, but I've used his videos and read his books for about 15 years. I've also corresponded with him via email. Great guy!

    I feel that worrying about the standardization of Qigong misses the point. All styles of Qigong are important and relevant. Qigong is the master key...simple as this. The western idea of quantifying Qigong is missing the point. Qigong is not a western model. The western model is hierarchy by nature...Qigong is Qigong. Qigong will speak for itself. This is something we need not worry about.

    рlease make subtitles and translation available. Thank you

    • @chitimetv
      @chitimetv  Год назад +1

      I have looked into the back end of this and it seems I would need to type in the subtitles to make this occur. Perhaps it is because the upload was a while ago and the new systems in YT are not synched in with old videos...

      @@flettcherdao I've had a look as you suggested and the language was already set to English (UK) so I've added English (US) to see if that will permit automatic subtitles and translation

    Taiji is NOT a subset of qigong

    • @chitimetv
      @chitimetv  7 лет назад +5

      That is not quite what he said Kenn - Qigong underpins the principles of Taiji, they are interconnected through the Qi. Taiji can be described as a form of Qigong, with its 'soft martial art' sequences giving it its own charactertistics. This explanation helps new people to get what Qigong is in relation to Taiji, and for Taiji practitioner to value their Qigong practice. No offence is intended, only inclusion, integration and encouragement of personal empowerment.
