I'm convinced Chase has a stand that gaslights people into thinking everyone hates it so people can keep mentioning how much they love it. 50% of opening discussions always end up in this loop.
"Everyone hates Chase, well I'm special in that I actually like chase!!!!!" Bro where is this Chase hate. Chases biggest hater must be hitchhiking with Kars in space, they were likely one of the worlds biggest menace only to have vanished without so much of a trace, embedded in a few peoples memories and collectively ran with as a truth.
@@Dadude572Nah the Chase hate used to exist because it didn't have the same flair some of the other openings had. But now it's the "cool thing" to like Chase.
Heavens Falling down is fire, I think the movements of Emporio shooting Pucci is pretty great … Okay but putting Fighting Gold that low is actually insane, it’s so stylish and melancholic and when the chorus hits it‘s genuinely inspiring, idk what happened here
I also really liked it, but I get his criticisms. Most of the shots before the second time they show Pucci are pretty forgettable (except the one with Pucci and the Sons of Dio that one goes hard).
I love how End of the World uses the singers of the three previous openings, since all three Joestars are present in the final battle in some way (even if Jonathan’s presence is just a body) and it is a culmination of Parts 1, 2, and 3.

I agree though that Traitors Requiem is the best Jojo Op. The visuals go hard, the lyrics about overcoming fate and Diavolo’s interruption but Giorno reversing it and ascending his stand are all so epic. There is nothing like it in JJBA. Every other take was hotter than the sun tho.
I can't really agree with the visuals because they are too spoilery even for Jojo. I was so baffled when I first saw it. The entire final confrontation is built up as a "who will get the Arrow first" and the opening literally has Giorno piercing himself...
It’s impressive to me that I can still play all these in my head (besides heaven is falling down) despite not having watched the show in a few years If you asked me to recall an opening from any other show… I’m gonna be honest I can only remember Dragonballs openings
What makes end of the world even better is that looking at it it hasn't even really changed between v1 and v2, just actually showing dio and the time stopping and I think that is just amazing.
Heaven’s Falling Down in the lowest tier is unreal, I really like the opening both songs and animation. I would’ve preferred Fighting Gold as the bottom tier But fr there are no actual bad JoJo opening, all JoJo opening is fire just like there’s no actual bad parts
Well, didn't think I'd find an opinion about the Jojo openings that is actually so similar to mine. I agree, A traitors Requiem is the absolute coolest OP non-negotiable
I gotta say i probably have listened to bloody stream atleast 200 + times while reading because of that *ACTION* MAN ITS SO GOOD! BEEN LISTENING FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW
Damn fighting gold and great days in the bottom? Those are like my top 3. I think fighting gold’s visuals are some of the best in the series and coda cooked on the song. Great Days has a very catchy and happy tune that brilliantly contrasts with the dark turn that the story takes near the end of Part 4.
Chase is actually one of my favorites. Most people say it doesn't fit the vibe but like its supposed to represent the shift from normal stand fighting formula to the more murder mystery aspect
But I don't think it fits that that in the anime - it starts with the Rohan arc which is hardly a change to the formula, and ends just after Kira assumes his new identity, which is where the "mystery" aspect really takes centerpoint. Really, the only episodes it feels like it fits in is the Sheer Heart Attack arc.
The chase suitcases are meant to show Kira acquiring killer queen, you notice each of them from random locations have blood on them until the one that’s from Egypt, where Kira found the arrow and attained a stand ability so he could dispose of the bodies easier
This is genuinely a great opening tier list but it feels like you should separate the songs from the opening cause there are good bangers on the bad openings
I wonder how that would work, actually. His Stand is not time based like all the previous villains, and even with Pucci they had *Jotaro* be the one to interupt. It would make more sense if it was Alternate Diego who did it.
I'm glad else feels the same about Fighting Gold. The opinion on great days was a really hot take for me, cause I really love it. Also called me out on playing it in my car 😭 I'll let it slide, cause you acknowledged Chase and the share the same opinion on Fighting Gold Anyways here's my ranking: Great Days Chase End Of The World Crazy Noisy Bizzare Town Traitor's Requiem Stand Proud Bloody Stream Stone Ocean Sono Chino Sadame Heaven's Falling Down Fighting Gold

just saying, at the 6:00 mark, that beep he's talking about, im pretty sure thats just a hit in the dome of the ride cymbal of the drums set used in the song. if im not mistaken that is. (im a drum nerd lol)
Why Heaven’s Falling Down and Chase are the best JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure openings. We all know that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has great introductions all around, but there are two openings that stand out among the crowd. Those two being Chase, by Japanese artist Batta, and Heaven’s Falling Down, by Japanese artist Sana. They both excel in similar ways. Such as visuals, audio, atmosphere, and just how much I like the part in general. Let’s start with Chase. As stated earlier, one of the reasons I like Chase so much is the visuals. If we look at the 7 second mark, we can see soup cans, but instead of soup, we see hands. Abiding by the fact that Yoshikage Kira has a hand fetish, if you will. Then, at the 10 second mark, we can see seemingly innocent suitcases that are leaking what appears to be blood, this may confirm to the watcher that the “peaceful” town of Morioh may actually be much darker than what meets the eye. Next up, around the 19 second mark, we can see a hand touch different photograph, then we see the Killer Queen “symbol” appear on said photographs, causing them to combust into flames, showcasing Kira’s ability to blow things up, then when the flames settle, the title of the part appears, then after Shigechi feeds pigeons, it cuts to Kira cutting his nails, and later on in the part, it is revealed that his nails grow at a accelerated pace when he has the urge to kill. This could allude to the fact that Shigechi is soon killed by Kira. There are also some silhouettes of unknown women that are in the reflection of his nail. Around the 30 second mark, we can see a rat that later proves to be a major opponent, to someone even like Jotaro, then a second one scurrying away a few frames later. We then see a silhouette of ECHOES act 3. Then at the 41 second mark, we can see the stand Cinderella, and Yukako with only one eye visible. Showcasing the test Koichi has to go through to regain Yukako’s original eyes. 5 seconds later, at the 46 second mark, we can see two people holding hands, my best guess is that it is the younger version of Kira, holding Reimi’s hand, in other words, this is a capture of him taking his first victim. Only a few frames later, we see his dad holding the stand arrow. It then transitions into us “flying” through the ghost alley where we see Reimi. And finally, it cuts to Josuke reaching his hand out the silhouette of Kira himself. My next reason is the audio, it has a catchy toon that you can hum for hours on end. Another reason why I enjoy this song so much is because it fits so well with the visuals. I find myself in a trance everytime I watch this opening because it just feels so fluid. The lyrics also fit so well with what the main cast is trying to do, of which is to chase the Morioh serial killer, which also fit the title so well. Finally, The picture used for this song on spotify just look so cool. To further expand this argument, the atmosphere of the opening truly affects my personal rating of the intro. The lack of vibrant colors for the majority of the opening up until the very end do a great job of displaying the dread and hopelessness they cast must feel while on the hunt for this elusive serial killer, but when they get so close to finding him once and for all, that hope is reignited, and they have a new found determination to keep looking, that may possible segway well into the final intro, great days. Finally, to finish off my segment for Chase, I must admit, It is affected by how much I like the part, I would honestly tie this with Heaven’s Falling Down, if it weren’t for the fact that I feel like the part has a horrible way of disposing of villains, overall, Diamond is Unbreakable is my second favorite part, (so far, I’m currently reading Steel Ball Run) but I feel like the whole “I defeated you, so we’re buddies now” trope got old after the 5th time it happened. But overall, it had by second favorite villain, fourth favorite JoJo, and second favorite cast (even if it is quite large)
Essay cont. Next up on my list, Heaven’s Falling Down. By far my favorite opening. But let’s get started with the visuals. Not only is it the most recent 3D opening, it’s also the Best. It quickly starts with a flashback to the Jotaro versus Dio fight at the end of Stardust Crusaders, which morphs from Dio being defeated to Star Platinum’s Disk getting carried off by the pigeon. The camera then pans downward to display the accident that put Jolyne in prison in the first place. It then cuts to Jolyne in the visitation room right before Pucci attacks, while the Pendant falls slowly into Jolyne's hand while the camera cuts to right when White snake starts attacking. It then cuts to Jolyne holding the pendent close, as she supposedly misses her parents. It then cuts to Jotaro recovering in an undisclosed location. For the next 11 seconds, a montage of the characters' backstories flash in front of their silhouettes. It then shows Pucci and 3 other profiles later revealed to be Dio’s sons (besides Giorno). This is where the biggest change happens. Itn the first version, Jolyne is shown floating through the air only to land seconds later to allow for her and her teammates to land a barrage of attacks. Then at the 1:08 mark, we see F.F. floating through the air, supposedly going to heaven. After that, we see Pucci and Jolyne facing off in the water. We then see flames in her eyes, known as Dark Determination (correct me if I'm wrong), where the camera sinks into the water, then waves move out of the way to reveal the title card. But if we go back to the 0:55 second mark, we can see Jotaro use Star Platinum: The World to stop time, or at least, try to, as it doesn’t fully start, Leaving Jotaro on edge for the approaching attack. Then, as a call-back to the first opening, Manga panels of other parts flash, leaving Jolyne in the Joestar mansion, fighting a greater threat that would ultimately lead to their demise just like her great-great-great about 150 years ago. The camera then pans to the different Joestarrs and the important item during their little quest. We can then see the Joestar mansion breaking apart, possibly symbolizing how the universe is “breaking” only for it to start anew, so like the universe, the entire Joestar lineage is breaking only for it to start anew in the new universe. Finally, it cuts to Jolyne and Pucci in the same poses as in “The End of the World” With the Visuals out of the way, time to dive into the music. It starts off quiet, and slowly gains energy, like how Jolyne’s story started as her trying to be free, and prove her innocence, and evolves into something much larger, saving the entire universe from being restarted. And just like with Chase, it feels so fluid that I find myself unable to look away from the screen white it plays. One way it differs from chase, is that it is something that is definitely better whistled than hummed. Also, the picture used for the song is just so cool like it is with Chase Then with the atmosphere. The use of the clock at around the 55 second mark is a great way to symbolize not only the power of time Pucci gains, but also how little time the gang has to find and defeat Pucci. And that feeling of hopelessness in the beginning accurately represents how the main characters must feel during their final stand off with Pucci after he gains Made in Heaven, and the use of colors also helps a lot when it comes to portraying a certain emotion like this is doing To end this, the thing that boosts it to first place above Chase is that it belongs to my favorite part, it has my favorite villain who, as I like to say, was one fun fact away from winning, my second favorite JoJo, behind Joseph, my favorite characters, my favorite fights, my favorite stands, my favorite intro, my favorite everything, if you were to ask me to name one thing wrong with stone ocean, I wouldn’t be able to give you a answer because I think it is just that good. In conclusion, all other intro’s are good, but I find that Chase and Heaven’s Falling Down are the best. Everyone has the right to their own opinions, however, that doesn’t mean that these aren’t factual, if you don’t believe that Heaven’s falling down and Chase are the best intros in JoJo’s bizarre adventure, you are wrong. All other intros are fair game though. Works Cited “chase | JoJo's Bizarre Wiki | Fandom.” JoJo's Bizarre Wiki, jojo.fandom.com/wiki/Chase. Fighting gold never fails to give me chills. The visuals, the melody and ESPECIALLY the vocals?? By far my fav opening.
Bro was tweaking making that first pick 💀
Chewiedog1 never fails to be wrong in everything
This guy probably made the most controversial video ever💀
GET HIM OUT THE KITCHEN HES GONNA BURN THE BUILDING DOWN
We need the full versions of chewiedogs voiceovers.
It’s impressive to me that I can still play all these in my head (besides heaven is falling down) despite not having watched the show in a few years
If you asked me to recall an opening from any other show…
I’m gonna be honest I can only remember Dragonballs openings
The EDM version of Crazy Noisy Bizarre town version is unreal it is SO slept on
FR!
Absolutely love this😂. You should make one for all the JoJo main themes
Finally he said something good about part1
He liked my comment my life has been fulfilled
me the whole time: WHERES TRAITORS REQUEM???
me at 14:40: THANK YOU CHEWIEDOG1!!!
👏👏😅😁
GANG STARS!!
(gangsters)
Fighting gold should be SLIGHTLY higher
Heavens falling down is such a good song tho😭😭
Yah I damn near Cum everytime I here it 😭🙏
What makes end of the world even better is that looking at it it hasn't even really changed between v1 and v2, just actually showing dio and the time stopping and I think that is just amazing.
No way you called it "T R A D E R S" Requiem 😭😭😭😭
Traders souls gotta repose too 😭
Man I can't possibly disagree more on heaven's falling down
You put some of my favorites at the bottom ;-; (my tops are bloody stream, great days, fighting gold, heaven's falling down, and chase)
Also I despise Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town and Stone ocean OP 1
I'm so glad you gave crazy noisy bizarre town some recognition, it's my favourite and i prefer the first one to the edm version
I love how he still respects Great Days after its placement!
But in the end we all agree that Freek'n You is the best jojo ending
My list is. Part2, Part6 Op2, part1, part3 op1, part5 op1, part5 op2, part4 op1, part4 3, part6 op1, part3 op2, part4 op2.
Edit:
My favorite alt ops are-
Part3, part6 2, part5 2, part5 1, part 4 (any of em).
When you gonna post you singing the jojo openings on Spotify
God, I both love and hate how opinions are valid on the internet.
Heaven’s Falling Down in the lowest tier is unreal, I really like the opening both songs and animation. I would’ve preferred Fighting Gold as the bottom tier
But fr there are no actual bad JoJo opening, all JoJo opening is fire just like there’s no actual bad parts
I put Traders' Requiem in the last. Not because of the fire music. Because of ALL THE FLIPPING SPOILERS.
Well, didn't think I'd find an opinion about the Jojo openings that is actually so similar to mine. I agree, A traitors Requiem is the absolute coolest OP non-negotiable
Imagine ranking Heaven's Falling Down at the bottom when Chase literally exists
Don’t worry, it’s okay to be wrong.
I gotta say i probably have listened to bloody stream atleast 200 + times while reading because of that *ACTION* MAN ITS SO GOOD! BEEN LISTENING FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW
Bro just slandered borderlands as a whole. You're getting put on a vault symbol crucifix.
10:18 Don't know if you care that much but I'm pretty sure that shot is supposed to be Dio attaching his head to Jonathan's body
Fighting Gold is a car blaster! Almost always either following or proceeding Chase
bro i was sick today but when i saw that you posted i felt better. keep up the good work chewi
Damn fighting gold and great days in the bottom? Those are like my top 3. I think fighting gold’s visuals are some of the best in the series and coda cooked on the song. Great Days has a very catchy and happy tune that brilliantly contrasts with the dark turn that the story takes near the end of Part 4.
how could you forget the oingo boingo opening
Dude, heavens falling down is easily the best
Chase is actually one of my favorites. Most people say it doesn't fit the vibe but like its supposed to represent the shift from normal stand fighting formula to the more murder mystery aspect
But I don't think it fits that that in the anime - it starts with the Rohan arc which is hardly a change to the formula, and ends just after Kira assumes his new identity, which is where the "mystery" aspect really takes centerpoint. Really, the only episodes it feels like it fits in is the Sheer Heart Attack arc.
The Code Geass opening slaps. Jibun wo sekai e sae mo kae tenshi maye sora. I wrote that shit from memory.
Thats a different opening
Ima be fr, this channel is actually so funny especially the title on this one
I really like chase idk why its just so good and has fire visuals
The chase suitcases are meant to show Kira acquiring killer queen, you notice each of them from random locations have blood on them until the one that’s from Egypt, where Kira found the arrow and attained a stand ability so he could dispose of the bodies easier
Imma be honest, I play these openings whenever I drive. Great time whenever I listen to them.
the only reason i don't like traitor's requiem as much as i want to is spoilers
Honestly chase is my favorite because the song and aesthetic is absolutely my kinda thing
10:45 i went IGGY and then u talked abiut a president and moved on so i shouted WAIT ARE YOU SERIOUS and my parents looked at me
Underrated comment
This is genuinely a great opening tier list but it feels like you should separate the songs from the opening cause there are good bangers on the bad openings
I CANNOT WAIT FOR A FUNNY VALENTINE INTRO INTERUPT
You will be wating
I wonder how that would work, actually. His Stand is not time based like all the previous villains, and even with Pucci they had *Jotaro* be the one to interupt.
It would make more sense if it was Alternate Diego who did it.
@gokunenn4243 funny valentine just cloning the protagonists lol
If Chase is in the lower part of the ranking, I will go insane
Im quite satisfied with this video
fr, underrated op ngl
@@sheenBean_Chase is 6 in my list
My man seriously passed on the opportunity to scream that the oingo boingo opening is the best at the very end of the video SMH
i actually like Heavens falling down, It had to be my favorite one
The heaven’s falling down slander hurt my soul
I'm glad else feels the same about Fighting Gold. The opinion on great days was a really hot take for me, cause I really love it. Also called me out on playing it in my car 😭 I'll let it slide, cause you acknowledged Chase and the share the same opinion on Fighting Gold
Anyways here's my ranking:
Great Days
Chase
End Of The World
Crazy Noisy Bizzare Town
Traitor's Requiem
Stand Proud
Bloody Stream
Stone Ocean
Sono Chino Sadame
Heaven's Falling Down
Fighting Gold
i don't usually do this but i honestly got pissed off watching this video so i wanna see how many people can i piss off with my list
11. chase
10.breakout
9.Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town
8.Fighting Gold
7.Stand Proud
6.Sono Chi No Sadame
5.Great Days
4.Bloody Stream
3.Heaven's Falling Down
2.End Of The World

0.the rumbling
this was harder then i expected god damn, the problem with this i love chase but the others just destroy, in fact i love all my JoJo op's this hurt so much to make I'm sorry for my sins father Pucci.
Unpopular opinion. Chase is the best opening that song hit and the visuals actually get me hard
The red shot was dio in stand proud
17:02 city of tears?
Chase, Great Days, Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town, End of the World, then Fighting Gold. Thats my top 5 in order.
My personal list of jojo ops would have to be this:
11. Fighting gold
10. Sono chino sadame
9. Heavens falling down
8. Crazy Noisy Bizzare Town
7. End of the world
6. Stand Proud
5. Great days
4. Stone Ocean
3. Bloody stream
2. Traitors requiem
1. Chase (not a joke I love chase)
Literally all I would do is swap the bottom two and ur ranking is the same as mine lol. Chase enjoyers rise up
Fighting gold at 11 is CRAZY
Bloody stream 1
Sono Chi no Sadame better be the first
Unsubscribed
Real
just saying, at the 6:00 mark, that beep he's talking about, im pretty sure thats just a hit in the dome of the ride cymbal of the drums set used in the song. if im not mistaken that is. (im a drum nerd lol)
SONO CHINO SADAME
JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJO
I got curious about that Traitor's Requiem reddit leak post on 15:45. Did not regret it. Well played, Chewie
My favourite opening being last place 😭
real
Heaven's Falling Down is the Worst opening??
Alright, your opinion is now invalid.
Bro did not cook this time❌❌❌🧑🍳🧑🍳🧑🍳
Why Heaven’s Falling Down and Chase are the best JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure openings.
Finally, it cuts to Jolyne and Pucci in the same poses as in “The End of the World”
With the Visuals out of the way, time to dive into the music. Also, the picture used for the song is just so cool like it is with Chase
Then with the atmosphere. The use of the clock at around the 55 second mark is a great way to symbolize not only the power of time Pucci gains, but also how little time the gang has to find and defeat Pucci. And that feeling of hopelessness in the beginning accurately represents how the main characters must feel during their final stand off with Pucci after he gains Made in Heaven, and the use of colors also helps a lot when it comes to portraying a certain emotion like this is doing
To end this, the thing that boosts it to first place above Chase is that it belongs to my favorite part, it has my favorite villain who, as I like to say, was one fun fact away from winning, my second favorite JoJo, behind Joseph, my favorite characters, my favorite fights, my favorite stands, my favorite intro, my favorite everything, if you were to ask me to name one thing wrong with stone ocean, I wouldn’t be able to give you a answer because I think it is just that good.

Heaven’s falling down is an underrated masterpiece
