Are they still working or have you needed to replace them?
GREAT VIDEO!!! BEST CHANNEL ON RUclips!!!!!!
Thank you so much!
Did you notice any issues with the new injections?
None!
I just installed my 12 hole injectors in my jeep grand cherokee 2004 6 cylinder and it idles so rough. No codes pop up on the dash. And even hooked up the car reader to see if codes popped up. But again nothing. Any recommendations
Interesting, Not sure, possibly the fuel pump
Have you tried remapping your computer to the new fuel mixture?
Have you solved your issue? All I can think of is that the injector weren’t seated properly and so it’s causing compression to go down. For my LJ, I had to push pretty hard to seat the injector even with grease on the ends.
Quick question do I have to drain my fuel before disconnecting the fuel line? Or does it have a valve that stops all the fuel from coming out. Stupid question sorry. I appreciate all the videos
I noticed, from what I could see, that you never put the clips back on the fuel rail when you replaced the injectors. Any leaks? Thanks for the video!
No issues at all, they don't require the clips on the replacements
You don’t need to remove the fuel line. Simply remove the bolts and utilize the space in between and the other engine components.
Removing the fuel line takes 1 minute and prevents me from bending it and cracking a 20 year old fuel line. It's basically an insurance policy for myself but yes, it would be possible to do without removing (although would take longer to get to the Injectors) might not be worth it.
Have you had any issues with the injectors was reading forms and they were saying the ebay/Amazon injectors are cheap Chinese injectors. I know a lot of people go with the ksuspension injectors seeing how they come from a liable person.
I haven't had any issues but I would go with ksuspension. Solid group! Cheers 🥂
@@Garagecouple well I just ordered some off of ebay. I guess if I have issues with it will get the ksuspension.
@@austynchavalia keep us posted!
Post a link to those.
In description of video. Checj out our injector video
How do the injectors perform and mpg before upgrade & mpg after upgrade.
We haven't calculated the new tj rubicons mpgs before and after (we installed the 4 hole injectors even before we finished an entire tank) we did extensive calculations on the tj before and after, and our findings are that at the very best you will get 1mpg if you drive the exact same way. Also, at wide open, it drives the same as well. Where it really benefits is at idle and during acceleration. At idle it is noticeably smoother and during acceleration it picks up quicker as it's easier to ignite more fine fuel particles. I have the link to the ones we always use in the description!
Thanks for the video. I was wondering if you notice better gas millage and power. I have a 98 XJ and want to do this too and was wondering if its worth the cash?
Hi! Yes, I'm noticing a 1-2 mpg increase, a smoother idle, and better throttle response. I don't think it increases horsepower but it certainly makes the jeep more responsive at the lower end. Make sure you do your research before buying, I've read a lot of people getting duds. The ones I've linked have worked perfectly for me, and are the ones I decided on after a lot of research
Thank you for the info and links. Its on my list. I just wish I didn't have to use adapters. wonder if the 4 hole injectors would have the same result or left? hmmm
Go with ksuspension raffi is a stand up guy
Thats the one we got!
@@Garagecouple i ordered them and installed them a year later. And found they ran rich and used more fuel. Also it was starting really bad.. like dieing engine.. insert face palm.
I Cant return them now and am out $200 canadian &( . Next time im ordering from KSuspension . No more cheep chinies injectors.
I am researching 4 and 12 points for my gf’s 97 tj. 2.5 4cyl. Not sure if the 12 is overkill.
Thanks for the comment! I have two sets of 4 hole and a set of 12 hole. I'm going to make a second video comparing them and then I am most likely going to give a set away to a viewer. Stay tuned!
4 hole versus 12 hole. The difference between the two is how well the fuel is atomized. You'll get greater atomization with the 12 hole injectors which leads to better fuel economy and quicker lower rpm throttle response along with lower emissions and lower fuel consumption.
I’m simply trying to get better fuel mileage for my girlfriend’s jeep TJ. Even though getting good mileage out of the jeep is a very tall order
@@socomt5 then you'd be better off with the 12 hole injectors
Nice job
Thank you!
Curious, the video indicates 12 hole injectors, but the comments talk about 4 hole...which did you use 4 or 12.... Mahalo, I’m a big fan from Hawai’i also 🤙🏽
Living the dream in hawaii! We have ran both! Can't tell a difference between 4 or 12, go with whichever you find cheaper!
I was going to buy from KSuspension. What do you think is better the 4 or 12 for the TJ?
I would just got 4! Pretty much the same as the 12 but less clog risk!
@@Garagecouple thank you, have they been any issues since install? Have you upgraded all battery cables yet on your TJ? Looking to replace all wires soon on mine.
Did you notice any significant changes with the change?
We noticed a vetter throttle response and slightly better mpg
Garage Couple looks like I have a new project:)
Yes! We actually gave a set away a while ago
Garage Couple i saw it I just ran in to your channel and I’m hooked! Super helpful!
Awesome! Thanks for the support
I quit watching your video when you said you had a throttlebody spacer. That’s the dumbest thing you could ever put on a vehicle. It serves absolutely no purpose.
You did a good job by quitting. Cheers
Hmm... Made in China?
Uncertain. Working amazingly so far!

It said on the box 😁
Glad to hear! 😎👍👍
