    This is great! Esther, I love your gentle humility, and that the fact that you have people demo poses who actually seem like they are in the process of learning the pose (as opposed to having done it for years).

    I have been trying to do a forearm stand for 6 maybe even more months now. my body is just not clicking. Im learning handstand fasting than a forearm stand! But this video with its amazing tips help me hold it! Thank you so much!

    Thank you for this break down. I have a question on assisting this pose - the other day a students legs folded over and onto my arm - with this weight on my arm it pulled a muscle! Do you have any suggestions on how I could better assist a student away from the wall? Thank you in advance!

    Ekhart Yoga is this asana "easier" than the palms-only (no forearms) hand stand (Adho Mukha Vrksasana)? what about the sirsasana? im trying to determine with which of these to start.

    It´s better to walk towards your hands a little bit more with your legs straigt. Then it happens that when you raise one leg, it goes up almost automatically.

    think this is not a trick but a mis alignment. Probably the shoulders are not strong enough for her to go into the pose yet, coming closer in, stretching upper back more and then lifting without the jump is good.

      If you are new to this pose... Don't try it without a wall or a partner!
