One of the finest undoubtedly. As a European (from Ireland), I only 'discovered' this band in 1995 on my first trip to the U.S. It was the 'Penthouse' album. I haven't been the same since ... in the best way imaginable!
Love this song and this band! Sounds definitely like Lou Reed, Soft Machine, the Dandy Warholls, with the guitar sounding like Mark Knopfler! How artistic and ingenious is this!! Love It!!
This videographer is totally ace because he shows them playing so fans can figure out the songs on the guitar, and watching them is fun because they make such simple grooves but they are really not that simple, Britta holds it down with Lee, while Sean and Dean alternate solos in the spotlight. Awesome. Cheeky song too.

Once described as 'the greatest band you've never heard of'.
That was Luna, not Galaxie 500.
Thanks for the excellent camera work that really features shots of the musicianship.
I think this recording is better than any other recording of this song. Masterful.

@@WOLFNBEAST Ira Kaplan is another happy Lou Reed.
Best guitar interplay between Dean and Sean. Happy to see they still have a devoted following.

Love the 9:30 Club t-shirt.
Honey Bunny!
👍👍
I feel like they film these so you can learn the guitar. Which is cool because none of their music is tabbed
Yeah, the KEXP recordings of the band have been great for that.
wow
We need more sexy rock and roll like this.
Sound definitely like Lou Reed
