People don't realize arm wrestling takes strength but there's alot of technique that goes into it the world champ is only like 240 an I e watched him beat men that where 300 plus lbs
If you only pushed to the side with no body movement, your arm would break under the spiral force generated. You aren't using bodyweight. You are simply moving your whole body in order to keep applying the same force at the same healthy angle. I have been pulling for a year and I can promise you that the sport is very complex. The pressure is always 100% on your arm's muscles, joints, and tendons.
