Yes I completely agree,very mysterious and the only drama that I keep repeating to watch,its so good and every actors are very good regardless of how big or small are their part .these 2 couple brings out a different level of chemistry that you cant help falling in love with them.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Kim go eun is like a breath of fresh air tbh compared to anyone in Kdrama. Fresh, honest, loving , different , natural , humble , cheerful , lovable , charismatic , beautiful , undeniably very cool and pure talent. I love her character development in the story. I can totally relate as a person who’s not into that lovey dovey stuff that other female roles play but you want to change a bit because you meet someone you want to cherish :) love Minho too since I was in middle school, 10 years boo😍
it’s so heartbreaking. we can see tae-eul cherishing every moment they have bc she knows this will be short-lived and one day, they will have to leave each other. while we have lee gon, just enjoying their time and blushes around his tough girl. BUT I LOVE THIS. most leads in kdramas would hesitate and wouldn’t want to take a chance bc they’re scared of heartbreak, but not these two. they don’t hold back and are just straightforward with everything they feel. to add, i also thought at first that the “i love you” scene was rushed, but isn’t that the point? to be able to say it to someone you love before anything happens bc you wouldn’t know when and how you will be separated and that you KNOW you will someday.
it's interesting to see how JTE, a strong, independent woman who's also pretty good with a gun, slowly but surely begins to lower her guard down and embrace Lee Gon's love. it would have taken all her confidence to turn around and say 'I love you'. i like how her character is both real and grounded. Their relationship is not like the standard rom-com dramas. and Paul Kim does it again with an OST that's going straight on my playlist. waiting for episode 9 because Shin Jae just broke my heart! i was totally shook!
me too. I love how their relationship is honest, open and straightforward. For me relationship should be like show and say how you feel and be confident and accepting of the result whether it's good or bad. At least you don't regret anything in life later on because you have been honest and open with your feelings. Expressing it way better than keeping or reserving it. Like the saying goes "opportunity comes once in a lifetime only" and whatever the result you at least did try and grab that opportunity.
Some people commented how Tae Eul said “i love u” that fast, but I do understand, she realized that she won’t have much time with Lee Gon. She realized that something gonna happen since two world have been mixed up, so she chose to just say whatever in her mind. She tried to hold back but she didn’t want to waste any minutes with lee gon.

Yup. In my own opinion, I think that she is actually already in love with but not showing a lot of affection because that just the way she is. She had her own way of caring of people she love. In episode 8, she realized that she they might not have a lot of time since they are from different world. That is why she said I love you to him before it's too late. She does not want to regret it later. As I said, this is my personal opinion 🤗
That's why the king choosed to love her, beside many women include PM Koo tried to seduce her, he found out a woman who just natural and cool behaviour and maybe his saviour in past time

This is one of best drama I ever watch and I feel 1 hour like 1 min lol. I really love this plot , it make me think lot about all the incidents and characters. The King: Eternal Monarch is not your typical kdrama. It requires your analyzation on each dialogue they utter. People think it may be boring but to be honest the plot is interesting. Since its scifi and time travel , youll have to understand the two worlds. I love how actors portrayed their characters specially Kim Go Eun. She is very straightforward to her feelings and true to her emotions. And to Lee Min ho, he never disappointed me. He also slay his character. He thinks smart and acts smart because thats his character. The King Eternal Monarch is very lit. When episode comes to an end , youll ever think" What will happen next?" " What will he/ she gonna do now." " Why does the writer allows that to happen?" It kills up your curiosity and you have to watch more episodes to fill up your curiosity and thats what i like about this kdrama.
For those people that are saying that their love story was shallow, the last episode explained it. Tae eul said she loved him because she knew all thats happening was just short lived, temporary, will disappear and she has to move on from it soon just like the other crimes she’s solving 😭😭😭 That was painful and will even be more painful in the next Eps. My heart! 💔
For someone who lost his father at such a young age and did not see his mother probably since birth, holding on to your hope of finally meeting the woman whom you thought saved your life is something bittersweet and hopeful. So to feel ecstatic upon seeing her and feeling that you have finally found the one is quite understandable. Never shallow.
one thing is for sure, we all watched it because of the actors and we continued to watch it because of the story and how every episode is like a drug that we can't get enough of. it's not your typical kdrama, for sure but that's also an another reason why we love it so much. we're still halfway in this drama and it just gets more interesting every friday and saturday.

My personal take in this series, it is another masterpiece written by KES. It is complicated to the extent that it may confusing at the beginning, mysterious, and totally out of the box, not the regular K-drama that we used to. Acting wise, I couldn't ask for more, KGE and LMH embrace and live it's own characters, same thing with the supporting cast, every act is very well done and every details has been looked into, it may not be perfect at all times but so far I'm good with it. Whether you agree or not, this series is not for everyone, hence the reason why lot of not constructive criticism and lame comments out there. As an audience I would like to encourage and challenge you to look this series with an open mind and creativity from our end, do not just focus on your own "bias". The people behind this production is doing their best to give us a quality product. KGE and LMH was choosen to be the leads, and I know the reason why and definitely the writer and the director as well. I may not be a film critic but I always appreciate when I see one. I hope you do too. Excited and patiently waiting for the upcoming episodes. Fighting Team TKEM! ❤

Only at episode 8 and here I am already feeling the pain of their blossoming love story. It just started yet it feels like it’s ending anytime soon. 💔 Crying like crazy on that scene where this beautiful song played in. Felt Kim Go Eun’s acting through and through. Her character Tae Eul is sowing seeds in their relationship even if there’s no certainty that it will reach its full bloom. Just like the “Imaginary Flower”! It’s a genius metaphor. KES is really one of the best and there was that magic again.
Maybe Koreans cannot understand this kind of story. They like simple story like triangle love , poor girl in love with rich boy , family hatred. I am happy that for once I can see a different kind of Korean drama. Thumbs up for KGE and LMH acting.
I admire how brave JTE is. Knowing that they dont have a lot of time together and can be separated at a moment's notice, she accepts his feelings for her, and hers for him. She does not shy away from expressing it, because that just wastes time. I think she thinks they will not end up together. So she's enjoying and being true in every moment they get to spend with each other.
I can't help but keep expressing my love for this drama, honestly its pure greatness. To those who say that Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun don't have chemistry are clearly blind like just by watching this, the chemistry here is gushing out! It's not your stereotypical drama, the actors said themselves, so it's a bit confusing at first. But it always pieces together in each new episode. Many are quick to call out the actors or the screenwriter for their poor skills. But no honey, they are doing more than enough (even going beyond) to portray their characters. I wish the show the best at this point their rating doesn't matter just because people don't get and stopped watching. I'm here to support! Again not your stereotypical drama, and I think that's beautiful!
What if in the end Tae Eul decided to move to Corea to become the queen you know like Lee Gon offered Tae Eul when they just met. And she is still able to come across the world to visit her family and friends and they can hang out like normal couple or spend their vacation in Korea once in while. That would be the highlight of my summer this year 🥰 Please don’t break their hearts ❤️ and millions of their anticipating fans who wishing their weeks would be shorter (2 days/ week) 🤞

To all those people saying Tae Eul's confession seems forced and unnatural, it's not. That's exactly how her character is portrayed. She ain't a damsel in distress, rather a headstrong, straightforward and a person who is absolutely aware of the uniqueness of their relationship. She's not willing to waste time rather completely fall for the man who willingly blushes around her. I love how the writers have written a strong female character who is not shy in showing her feelings, and prefers to spend each moment like the last while falling hard every time they meet!

But I never felt their love build up. When she confessed I thought already. I mean fee ep back you were hating him now you just love him, where is the middle ground or maybe I just had high expectations from this drama
A S i think to say she hate him was too harsh. This drama is not typical drama that had to show us every process especially for complex story like this but they already gave us many scene or point that show how tae eul feeling slowly grow since she met him. In the beginning why she didn't trust him was just normal, who's person can believe someone who talked non sense about paralel world, said she was his savior even found her id card 25 years ago, also her character was so opposite with lee gon. She's a cop and more realistic person thats why KES describe her as flat earthers meanwhile lee gon totally full of science and more believing in that kind of weird things. She just didn't believe him in the beginning also the way lee gon treat her was also different from the way others (her cop squad) treat her, people around her mostly men. Even when lee gon ask her to went to his world, she didn't even reject because she already have that trust even just small portion from the beginning but she just need a PROVE. In the paralel world, she finally believes everything even in ep 6 she said sorry to lee gon and feel bad bcs let lee gon alone in korea that must be made him feel so lonely (bcs thats how she feels when she's go around the country without knowing anyone). She also said that she already lose from the start bcs the winner for lee gon heart must be from his world (when she ate dinner). This is already hint that she have feeling but at the same time she also being realistic that this kind of love kinda not working for their story. Even lady noh already give warning to her. Until she came back to korea and lee gon focusing with his war, she never stop thinking about him. People might be mistaken that the period of time from she's back until lee gon go to korea was just few days when it wasn't like that. I want to blame the director for bad at put the scene placement😑 maybe only few people that aware of tae eul's monolog and understand about it takes more than few days and such a long time. Thats why when she finally sees him again, she was already accept her feeling. The way she feel relieved that lee gon was doing well and how she want to see him. Its already shows. But yeahh, i will not deny that the production team especially the director is the one should to blame in this. Not many people good at read many details or hint even analyzing the situation, thats why many people got misunderstand and wondering about theri build up romance in the end. This kind of drama literally not suit for everyone taste who used to cliche romance with powerful male lead in relationship.

Kim Go Eun's haters should be nervous by now. They don't know how great an actress KGE is yet they continue hating her. Came here after watching Episode 10 of TKEM. Actually, I waited for this drama to be aired solely because of its unique storyline. However, just 3 episodes into it and I saw myself hooked with the actors. Especially KGE and LMH. People telling they don't have chemistry was the biggest lie. Their chemistry is too strong y'all. I wasn't even a fan of LMH but look at me now, I'm dying to see the next episode.

I guess it is the first Kdrama that have an excellent and unpredictable storyline with great and incomparable actors. Like everyone of them really have that feels that only them can give especially the leads. It cannot be compared to any other kdramas because it is on another level. They set the bars really high.

They can choose other cheesy dramas, there are plenty of them because tkem doesn't offer them such a story. Tkem is the best cuz though the love story is important but it's not the main focus of the story. It's scifi fantasy story wrapped with a complicated love story between two MATURE people not childish love. We love how their love portrayed so well in this drama, less skinship, less cheesy lines, just pure body language and feeling. I can't understand how do haters enjoy their nasty behaviour here and there, trying so hard to drag this drama down. If they just don't like it, they can just simply not to watch it. This drama is a huge success around the world and global fans love it. Plus we don't care much about ratings. Many best movies in the world don't have many viewers or even popular though. But tkem has both, it has good storyline and popularity too. So haters, please go away. Especially Kim Go Eum haters, despite your hatred toward her, she grows better and better but you, what do you get by being so negative?

Tae Eul's love confession to Lee Gon is said in a very realistic way as the way she is for she is competing against time and uncertain tomorrow. It is not the time of saying their love under the moonlight surrounded by roses and candles. It is about now and uncertain tomorrow. She loves her fate as she said, and doesn't want to loose her chance. Lee Gon is a lucky man to accept it! Paul Kim is very good in conveying this couple's hearts. I had watched too many dramas wherein the couple took time to express their hearts out and they always end up regretting not saying those words. I love how courageous Taeeul is to express her heart despite the fact that what they have now may be short-lived. That is not your typical female lead right there. Her timing of saying 'I love you' may be too sudden but she said that to Gon, whom she loves, so it was never about timing... it was all about the person and your feelings.

Kim go eun is like a breath of fresh air tbh compared to anyone in Kdrama. Fresh, honest, loving , different , natural , humble , cheerful , lovable , charismatic , beautiful , undeniably very cool and pure talent. I love her character development in the story. I can totally relate as a person who’s not into that lovey dovey stuff that other female roles play but you want to change a bit because you meet someone you want to cherish :) love Minho too since I was in middle school, 10 years boo😍

it’s so heartbreaking. we can see tae-eul cherishing every moment they have bc she knows this will be short-lived and one day, they will have to leave each other. while we have lee gon, just enjoying their time and blushes around his tough girl. BUT I LOVE THIS. most leads in kdramas would hesitate and wouldn’t want to take a chance bc they’re scared of heartbreak, but not these two. they don’t hold back and are just straightforward with everything they feel. to add, i also thought at first that the “i love you” scene was rushed, but isn’t that the point? to be able to say it to someone you love before anything happens bc you wouldn’t know when and how you will be separated and that you KNOW you will someday.

it's interesting to see how JTE, a strong, independent woman who's also pretty good with a gun, slowly but surely begins to lower her guard down and embrace Lee Gon's love. it would have taken all her confidence to turn around and say 'I love you'. i like how her character is both real and grounded. Their relationship is not like the standard rom-com dramas. and Paul Kim does it again with an OST that's going straight on my playlist. waiting for episode 9 because Shin Jae just broke my heart! i was totally shook!
me too. I love how their relationship is honest, open and straightforward. For me relationship should be like show and say how you feel and be confident and accepting of the result whether it's good or bad. At least you don't regret anything in life later on because you have been honest and open with your feelings. Expressing it way better than keeping or reserving it. Like the saying goes "opportunity comes once in a lifetime only" and whatever the result you at least did try and grab that opportunity.

The King: Eternal Monarch is not your typical kdrama. It requires your analyzation on each dialogue they utter. People think it may be boring but to be honest the plot is interesting. Since its scifi and time travel , youll have to understand the two worlds. I love how actors portrayed their characters specially Kim Go Eun. She is very straightforward to her feelings and true to her emotions. And to Lee Min ho, he never disappointed me. He also slay his character. He thinks smart and acts smart because thats his character.
The King Eternal Monarch is very lit.
When episode comes to an end , youll ever think" What will happen next?" " What will he/ she gonna do now." " Why does the writer allows that to happen?" It kills up your curiosity and you have to watch more episodes to fill up your curiosity and thats what i like about this kdrama.

For those people that are saying that their love story was shallow, the last episode explained it. For someone who lost his father at such a young age and did not see his mother probably since birth, holding on to your hope of finally meeting the woman whom you thought saved your life is something bittersweet and hopeful. one thing is for sure, we all watched it because of the actors and we continued to watch it because of the story and how every episode is like a drug that we can't get enough of. it's not your typical kdrama, for sure but that's also an another reason why we love it so much. we're still halfway in this drama and it just gets more interesting every friday and saturday.

My personal take in this series, it is another masterpiece written by KES. It is complicated to the extent that it may confusing at the beginning, mysterious, and totally out of the box, not the regular K-drama that we used to. Acting wise, I couldn't ask for more, KGE and LMH embrace and live it's own characters, same thing with the supporting cast, every act is very well done and every details has been looked into, it may not be perfect at all times but so far I'm good with it. Whether you agree or not, this series is not for everyone, hence the reason why lot of not constructive criticism and lame comments out there. As an audience I would like to encourage and challenge you to look this series with an open mind and creativity from our end, do not just focus on your own "bias". The people behind this production is doing their best to give us a quality product. KGE and LMH was choosen to be the leads, and I know the reason why and definitely the writer and the director as well. I may not be a film critic but I always appreciate when I see one. I admire how brave JTE is. Knowing that they dont have a lot of time together and can be separated at a moment's notice, she accepts his feelings for her, and hers for him. She does not shy away from expressing it, because that just wastes time. I think she thinks they will not end up together. So she's enjoying and being true in every moment they get to spend with each other.

I can't help but keep expressing my love for this drama, honestly its pure greatness. To those who say that Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun don't have chemistry are clearly blind like just by watching this, the chemistry here is gushing out! It's not your stereotypical drama, the actors said themselves, so it's a bit confusing at first. But it always pieces together in each new episode. Many are quick to call out the actors or the screenwriter for their poor skills. But no honey, they are doing more than enough (even going beyond) to portray their characters. I wish the show the best at this point their rating doesn't matter just because people don't get and stopped watching. I'm here to support! Again not your stereotypical drama, and I think that's beautiful!

To all those people saying Tae Eul's confession seems forced and unnatural, it's not. That's exactly how her character is portrayed. She ain't a damsel in distress, rather a headstrong, straightforward and a person who is absolutely aware of the uniqueness of their relationship. She's not willing to waste time rather completely fall for the man who willingly blushes around her. I love how the writers have written a strong female character who is not shy in showing her feelings, and prefers to spend each moment like the last while falling hard every time they meet!
Yeah same. The damsels in distress in dramas always give me a headache! And also the overly heroic male lead who is always there to jump in and rescue her 🙄

por fin alguien que entiende la historia y a los personajes y no solo está pendiente en si es bonita o no la protagonista, que si le dio bien el beso o no, lo mismo pensé cuando el le dió el primer beso, el cual fue criticado porque ella no cerró los ojos y no corespondió al beso, es decir si a esas alturas ni le gustaba y ademas fue por curiosidad a otro mundo, ademas el le dio un beso para demostrar algo sobre el cual ella habia preguntado no fue un beso de amor, pero mucha gente solo ve dramas por ver.
But I never felt their love build up. When she confessed I thought already. I mean fee ep back you were hating him now you just love him, where is the middle ground or maybe I just had high expectations from this drama
A S i think to say she hate him was too harsh. This drama is not typical drama that had to show us every process especially for complex story like this but they already gave us many scene or point that show how tae eul feeling slowly grow since she met him. In the beginning why she didn't trust him was just normal, who's person can believe someone who talked non sense about paralel world, said she was his savior even found her id card 25 years ago, also her character was so opposite with lee gon. She's a cop and more realistic person thats why KES describe her as flat earthers meanwhile lee gon totally full of science and more believing in that kind of weird things. She just didn't believe him in the beginning also the way lee gon treat her was also different from the way others (her cop squad) treat her, people around her mostly men.
Even when lee gon ask her to went to his world, she didn't even reject because she already have that trust even just small portion from the beginning but she just need a PROVE. In the paralel world, she finally believes everything even in ep 6 she said sorry to lee gon and feel bad bcs let lee gon alone in korea that must be made him feel so lonely (bcs thats how she feels when she's go around the country without knowing anyone). She also said that she already lose from the start bcs the winner for lee gon heart must be from his world (when she ate dinner). This is already hint that she have feeling but at the same time she also being realistic that this kind of love kinda not working for their story. Even lady noh already give warning to her.
Until she came back to korea and lee gon focusing with his war, she never stop thinking about him. People might be mistaken that the period of time from she's back until lee gon go to korea was just few days when it wasn't like that. I want to blame the director for bad at put the scene placement😑 maybe only few people that aware of tae eul's monolog and understand about it takes more than few days and such a long time. Thats why when she finally sees him again, she was already accept her feeling. The way she feel relieved that lee gon was doing well and how she want to see him. Its already shows.
But yeahh, i will not deny that the production team especially the director is the one should to blame in this. Not many people good at read many details or hint even analyzing the situation, thats why many people got misunderstand and wondering about theri build up romance in the end.
This kind of drama literally not suit for everyone taste who used to cliche romance with powerful male lead in relationship.
I don't understand why the rating has decreased to 9.0!!!! What else they want.... It's such an awesome drama....

Kim Go Eun's haters should be nervous by now. They don't know how great an actress KGE is yet they continue hating her. Came here after watching Episode 10 of TKEM. Actually, I waited for this drama to be aired solely because of its unique storyline. However, just 3 episodes into it and I saw myself hooked with the actors. Especially KGE and LMH. People telling they don't have chemistry was the biggest lie. Their chemistry is too strong y'all. I wasn't even a fan of LMH but look at me now, I'm dying to see the next episode.

Thank you VEM for making this video. It made me cry listening to this beautiful song ft. their sweet moments. Ugh can't get enough of this drama. It really made me wait patiently every week. I guess it is the first Kdrama that have an excellent and unpredictable storyline with great and incomparable actors. Like everyone of them really have that feels that only them can give especially the leads. It cannot be compared to any other kdramas because it is on another level. They set the bars really high.

It was a beautiful moment 😌 The song really captured the moment and helped convey the emotion of the scene too ❤️ I don’t know why but that scene and moment captured my heart and it was beautiful, yet sad 😢 knowing that they may be pulled apart at the end due to their circumstances, but embracing the moment and choosing to love eachother still, and deciding to love and live in the moment ❤️💔

Haters and their shallow minded should leave this drama and all the casts alone. If they want lovey dovey pretty handsomy actors then tkem isn't for them. They can choose other cheesy dramas, there are plenty of them because tkem doesn't offer them such a story. Tkem is the best cuz though the love story is important but it's not the main focus of the story. It's scifi fantasy story wrapped with a complicated love story between two MATURE people not childish love. We love how their love portrayed so well in this drama, less skinship, less cheesy lines, just pure body language and feeling. I can't understand how do haters enjoy their nasty behaviour here and there, trying so hard to drag this drama down. If they just don't like it, they can just simply not to watch it. This drama is a huge success around the world and global fans love it. Plus we don't care much about ratings. Many best movies in the world don't have many viewers or even popular though. But tkem has both, it has good storyline and popularity too. So haters, please go away. Especially Kim Go Eum haters, despite your hatred toward her, she grows better and better but you, what do you get by being so negative?

I had watched too many dramas wherein the couple took time to express their hearts out and they always end up regretting not saying those words. I love how courageous Taeeul is to express her heart despite the fact that what they have now may be short-lived. That is not your typical female lead right there. Her timing of saying 'I love you' may be too sudden but she said that to Gon, whom she loves, so it was never about timing... it was all about the person and your feelings.
The fact that she’s embracing and living the moments shows the next few episodes are gonna be painful to watch 😭
