Just to verify, my kids and I have been in the US for 3 months and we still haven't received our green card yet. I need to bring my baby back to my country of origin.
By the info you have given, we can both go home and come back and be accepted at the point of entry given that the temporary i-551 stamp on our passports isn't expired. NO NEED FOR THE PHYSICAL GREEN CARD? thank you very much❤
This is correct as long as the I-551 is not expired, it serves the same purpose as the physical card.

Stamp my passport with I 551 and in the bottom of the stamp they write my src number ,alien number E -36 and I 485 pending , is that Ok? May I travel with it?

Hello Lilly , my kids.are DV3 status and we came to the US on Dec.6.2019 with the I-551.Since then i ve never applied for their residence card and the I-551 evidence last for one year. Plse How can i obtain their green card?how much is the fees? Thank you for your kind feedback.
If you never paid the USCIS immigrant Fee for them to receive their card then you have to pay the fee. They currently do not have proof of their residency. www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-fees/uscis-immigrant-fee
What do you mean “is your case hasn’t been approved” like if you already came in with a i551 MRIV doesn’t that mean you just waiting for your physical card or they still gotta approve your physical card ?
You must pay the immigrant fee and then USCIS will issue and print the physical card. so by approve, I mean if they have not issued the card.

Hello I have a questions pls I filed for my mum who got her immigrant visa she will be coming to US very soon. My question is do I need to file her the 1-485 form to get her Greencard or just sit and wait for her green card to be mailed to my house once is being endorsed. Hi Lilian, I wanna asked if endorsement temporary residence for one year means I have to stay in USA until I have actual card with me in order to go out from USA? Can I go outside USA before I have my actual green card?? Or it’s going to be a problem? Thanks for your help 🙏😊
You can travel out side the US and return with the endorsement. The endorsement only works for a 1 year so it is not a good idea to travel close to the expiration if you still do not have your actual card.

You call USCIS customer service number and request an ADIT appointment.
Hello. I entered the US with an immigrant visa on March 30, 2022. I left the US April 24, 2022 before my green card was released. My green card was mailed to my brother's house in June 2022. Can I still reenter the US on February 2023 without my green card? Thank you for your help.

US Citizens can only travel with a US passport. There are passport location that can do same day or next day passport that you can search for.
My husband got his visa with the I-551 stamped. We have been married 3 years . When does he get his green card? Does he have to file any type of application to get his permanent green card? If so what form would he use. Or what does he do to get physical card? we don't know what to do next. Thabk you
Did your husband pay the USCIS immigrant fee? if he did not then USCIS will not send him the card. He will need to go to my.uscis.gov/uscis-immigrant-fee/ to make the payment before his card will be issued by USCIS.

hello, i am an immigrant applicant and was interviewed recently. i already got my visa packets (sealed) and was approved along with my passport. my concern is that my passport does not contain the i-551 stamp. can i still enter the US with my sealed visa packets even though i don’t have the i-551 stamp on my passport? i believe it was a consular error. thanks for the answer
The I-551 stamp is not given at the embassy. your passport should contain your immigrant visa which would serve as a I-551 once you enter the US. I-551 are only for immigrant visas not nonimmigrant visas
Hay there I have a question my wife wait for green card 8 months never see receipt yet come to mail yet come with immigration visa I already pay the fee too so what should I doing next ? Next step my wife wait for so long almost 9 months come to USA the last year

If it is an emergency then you must indicate that and ask for an expedite with proof of the emergency.

If not an emergency, then consider moving your travel date. traveling with an expired green card and expired extension is going to mean getting an appointment with an embassy for a travel foil because most airlines will not let you board the plan.
@@LillyLegal My conditional GC expired in June. What should we do when we call the Call Centre too many times and told them that we have a letter from the company to request our residency status? I explained to the Call Centre but no call back at all to get us the appointment.
I recently found out that my green card's been expired My 10-year green card it's been expired for more than 8 years I applied for the i-90 renewal and I did get a letter of notice of 24 month extension from the date that it's been expired but it's been expired longer than 24 months can I get a new driver's license with that notice?

@@michaelthompson964 This will depend on your specific DMV, they may not accept it. The best thing to do to avoid issues in the future is to get a I-551 Stamp so that you have current proof of your status.
