How important is the grease? Also does it absolutely have to be torqued down? Or can it just be tightened until no longer able. Don’t know if I need to buy more stuff or not. Don’t wanna take it to a shop
Thank you. That was very simple. I had a check engine light that my code reader says is a misfire in cylinder #1. So to determine if it is the coil or something else like a sparkplug, I just swapped coil 1 and coil 2. If the fault switches to #2 it is the coil. If it stays at #1 it is not the coil and could be a spark plug.
When I replaced my coils, the clips that connected were brittle and broke off. I was still able to clip them on, but, What are those wires called?? Just ignition coil wires? I'm trying to find them so i can replaced them.

Which is cylinder 2? Do you go left to right, or right to left
do you disconnect the battery completely or just the negative cable, when changing the spark plugs and ignition coils?
Are all the Ignition Coils the same? Just different numbers?
The 10mm bolt is free spinning on the spark plug coil. (Preventing me from getting to spark plug). Any ideas on how to take it off ?
