I used to be very good at knowing which bbmb were from which time frame and which bars were from each specific collection. Nowadays I find myself stumbling and fumbling to remember because of the constant barrage coming at us. It's too much. I also used to be excited to offer information on new and fun promotions/products to customers but don't as much anymore. I could see that the constant barrage of information was making people lose interest (there can definitely be too much of a good thing) There's really so much to be said here, it was a great question that encompasses many layers. I agree with all of the comments re: shipping. This is something Scentsy needs to take into consideration a lot more than they do. Great empties my friend ❤
Without my RUclips friends (like you!) taking a hit to review all the LTOs, I would not know about and purchase them other than BBMB. While they are exciting, I think moving them to once or twice a month would be sufficient! I think that LTOs should be NO shipping for their consultants, especially if they are so often! Great empties! LTOs are exciting but the past year or so there have been so much that it's hard to keep up with and for me also takes away from catalog items because I'm so focused on experiencing the LTOs. The last few early releases I've waited and combined in one order to save on shipping.

I agree there are too many LTOs coming out constantly. I often skip the spring summer LTOs but usually get the harvest and holiday collections. If one really piques my interest I’ll throw it in my club to try because I don’t want to pay separate shipping!
I’d prefer one LTO a month. I would like to have a LTO tester set offered for all the upcoming collections each season. I also wish Scentsy would list the run time, like “now through june 30th or while supplies last” type of thing on the website. If we could still bundle 6 packs in our club I’d not mind being slammed with LTO’s as much as I do these days. Thanks for sharing Patricia!

I like the LTOs in the way they boost my sales and give me something to talk about in my VIP group, but they are very very hard to keep up with! Between the early access and the different release dates I just cannot keep up with it all!
Iridescent Pearl is super light even for me! Lol! I love it also, but it's the only bar that I use an entire cube of, only in my upstairs bathroom and it barely scents the room and doesn't last too long. I considered grabbing more when it was in clearance, but I just don't reach for it often because I always feel like I'm wasting it. I'd definitely prefer less LTOs, 1-2 per month is plenty. That would leave us more time to focus on catalogue items. The catalogue gets overshadowed for sure. Also, I would like for the consultant "early access" to be released at the same time on the first of every month for anything upcoming, including things that are returning from vaults etc. More and more we need to be given the chance to make bulk orders and save on the astronomical shipping costs. Maybe like the SOTM subscription, there could be an early access subscription, or an "everything that's coming next month" subscription that includes the SOTM as well.
I do not even try to keep up with the frenetic pace of LTOs. If something really piques my interest, I add it to my quarterly club. That way, I have time to watch reviews and am only paying shipping 3-4 times per year.
Great point about utilizing club. I tend to get the scents to try and review for the channel so I use my club differently than most so I often forget about it.
I would prefer things drop less often. I don’t even promote many of them to my small customer base, because I figure the non-obsessed will get tired out of always having new, and then won’t pay as much attention when I do get excited about something. I will only order about once a month (not counting club, and sometimes a second time if there’s a party to close out), so I’ll try to time it close to my favorite release, and if I miss out on other things, then I just miss out. It’s fine. It would be easier to keep track if it weren’t so frequent, though!
I like a monthly drop but not weekly. I like a monthly drop that would allow for a bigger order or ability to add to my club each month. Multiple a month is hard to manage.
I am finding it a challenge to warm all the new LTO’s and some have been very disappointing strength wise and a lot of repeats scent wise. I am reconsidering my club bars as I never have time to warm them. I think I would prefer less so I can warm my favourites.
I think when they draw up scents for a collection they have others that just miss the cut. Then I think they work those runner up ones in for other collections.
I don’t care when Scentsy releases LTO’s. If there are bars I want to try I put them in my quarterly club. I’m sure it can be difficult for consultants to keep up with.

Too many LTOs for my taste - it is really getting difficult to keep track of what scent came out of what collection and whether I have tried it or not.
While I appreciate new products, I prefer the drops to be less so that people can save on shipping. I would also appreciate less licensed products. Or make the license products less juvenile looking. They don't have to be so literal

Yes - Ive only pulled out the big tester box once since the new catalog dropped and that was by choice. I still had unreviewed “new” bars that I could have added to the voting line up
I get Children’s Berry flavored Motrin mixed with chalky Smarties candy (US version), for the Candy Orchard scent. So yes, Scentsy is definitely channeling medicine in some of the fragrances 😂
I find there are too many LTOs. I wish there were fewer and they stayed around for a set amount of time like 3 months so you have a chance to try and decide if you should buy a few more bars or club; I think BBMB should be longer than 1 month for sure. I also liked that with the Epcot Garden bars they released 3 new scents and re released last year’s scents. If they made that the norm with collections people could try and know they would be back again in a year, wouldn’t need to rush on stocking up or adding to club. I didn’t add Mint Fields to my club originally as performance wasn’t great but I loved the scent, re warmed this year and after curing for a year I got the performance I wanted. So I stocked up with a few bars and added to my club now. With all the LTO’s I also find I forget about the catalog. 😊
Oh! I’ve never experienced frozen peaches at school but I’ll take your word for it. It was a scent that changed for me on warm from cold sniff and now I can’t get around that weird note.

I loved it! Very fresh and almost "cool" feeling that is great on a summer day! It seems "lighter" than Skinny Dippin (although I also enjoy that one!) I voted that that and Farmer's Market for many of my BBMB voting!

I don’t mind all the LTO’s, but I would like to see them released only 1-2 times a month. This weekly stuff is silly considering shipping fees. Also, not to get all environmentally preachy, but it’s such a waste in packing material and fuel. I feel like they could really improve some of their practices now that they’re a billion dollar company. I just don’t see that they’ve fully stepped in to that title quite yet, but maybe things will move in that direction with the owners return this summer. They have the ability to create powerful change, and it would be great to see them add eco friendly practices to their mission statement. Sorry, probably more than you were asking for 😂🥸🤓

I can’t wait to get Vanilla Oud back in my club someday. As for LTO’s…I often will pass on them. I personally find that especially with Spring-Summer launches I rarely find a treasure in the bunch. I’m not sure why but I did end up getting early access to the Honeyduke’s, Mental Health Awareness, Father’s Day & the BR Vanilla Scent-Spirations collections 🤷♀️🤦🏼♀️ I might repurchase maybe 1 or 2 bars from all of that. My girl gang are sticking with catalogue, BBMB/club bars they ignore the LTOs unless I rave about them. Maybe it’s a business strategy on Scentsy’s part. Almost all the ‘keeners’ in the wax community (except me) seem to be buying more & more vendor wax & maybe Scentsy wants to keep up with new releases to hold on to market share? I also think LTOs might be a a way for them to test ride a contender for future catalogues. Honestly though before I was a consultant & started watching Scentsy RUclips I barely noticed when new LTOs launched. I just ordered from the catalogue my consultant gave me every season & I’ve been a customer since 2011.

LTOs should be fun. There’s so many of them it’s hard to keep up - which is stressful and not so much fun
