- What is the best platform to learn skills? Is it udemy, is it coursera or is it skillshare? In this video I talk about the best mooc platforms that you can use to learn skills. The most important thing to understand here is that, there is no one platform that you can use to learn everything.
So, if you want to learn web dev, app dev, intro to coding, social media marketing, digital marketing, go with udemy.
If you wanna learn machine learning, deep learning, finance, or soft skills like negotiating with people, you can go with coursera.
And if you want to learn some creative skills like photography, drawing, illustration, graphic design, go with skillshare.

from my personal experience he's 100% correct... i wouldn't go to skillshare to get certified or specialized in anything scientific, skillshare is more for the artsy people, in Coursera you can do exactly what skillshare can't ... i don't know much about Udemy though

Udemy also has great courses for data science/ machine learning/ deep learning. Jose Portilla, Kiril Elemeneko, Start-Tech Academy, Laxmi Kant... are amazing teachers. Udemy comes with affordability and also the courses last forever. Where even though u buy courses from Coursera they expire within 6 months!

The biggest problem with Coursera is if you face any problem with your learning then you don't have the option to ask a question directly to the instructor and that creates a huge frustration.
I think in my opinion platform doesn't matter that much, matter is your passion to learn things like how desperate you're to learn skills. There is only pinch of a difference or none between content you gonna get with udmey or coursera etc.
First of all you just need to start.. Platform doesn't matter.

I'm sorry but you're giving wrong information. I have been using skillshare since months to learn game dev and video editing and vfx/motion graphics. There are many courses above 15 hrs and game dev even upto 1d 12 hrs.

Coursera is a reputed platform to learn they have courses from well-educated professors and universities. In udemy anybody can put course this what difference between them.
There are professional people in udemy too like I have done game designing courses from udemy by Rick Davidson

Prefer documentations over video courses.
You can search by yourself why it is better 😁
For beginners a video course is good but when you wanna go above the level of beginners, documentation is just better.

Learning and it's implementation matters. Certification gives you just the tag that you have just completed the learning process but it's actual proof is seen when you implement it in the professional life.
I have learnt from Coursera, Udemy, skillshare , teachable, thinkific, etc. But they all just give you the beginner approach to any topic. It do not teaches you how to solve and react on a problem in real life. That's why learning from them is good but i just do not like it.
