Tons of people had to wait like a whole year of jon being dead, and seeing Kit Harington go on all the shows and say he was dead and not coming back. Plus the books aren't done so nobody reaaaaly knew if jon was supposed to be revived. That was a crazy time lol.
@cannibalteddy6846 Yeah, and the fact that they showed us the corpse of John Snow like 5 times in Ep 1 was a dead giveaway. The showrunners were on their own without the guidance of the books, and they already over-forshadowed John's resurrection.
Ramsay took him out the same way he took out Robb, like Lady Catlin used to say “treat your oaths recklessly and so will your bannermen”.
It was such beautiful Justice. Betrayed by his own son, someone he potentially trusted, and stabbed in the heart.
Yes, Ramsay is an amazing man. One of the most impressive characters in the show for sure.
Kit Harrington who plays Jon said in a talk show he was stopped for speeding and the police told him he would release with a warning if he said whether Jon lives( since the rest of us had to wait a year to know!), Kit said he lives, and the police officer replied, "On your way Lord Commander!"
you do realise that never happened though? Actors tell all kind of made up stories on chat shows, it's supposed to be entertaining

In the source material, when a warg dies, they usually end up merging spirits with their animal companion. In the book, when Jon gets ganked, his last word is " _Ghost_ .." The author has said that all the Stark children of this generation have warging abilities, and Jon often dreams of being inside Ghost, like Bran can get inside Summer.
So, showing Ghost in this episode just before Jon wakes from the dead is a bit of a cheeky nod to that. 😉
You guys don't understand how lucky you are to be able to watch these seasons and episodes back to back. We had to wait a year and a half for season 6 to start. And then we had to wait an extra week to find out if they were bringing Jon back. All while watching Kit Harington do interviews and telling the fans that he wouldn't be back on the show. And keep in mind that Jon's death is where the books end because George R.R. Martin is finished writing them.

Melisandre is so fascinating in the books; she has a single POV chapter but we get a glimpse behind her past and how fire magic/the Lord of Light operates. I don't just think she's an old lady, but that thru her continuos use of fire-magic, she's turning in to something akin to a Fire Wight, or Fire Other (In the books, the White Walkers are called 'The Others', but they're kind of Ice Wights). So yeah, she's old but thinking of her as just an ancient crone is probably just the tip of the iceberg.

something the show doesn't cover is how most of the stark children are wargs. Jon, Rob, Bran, Arya, Rickon...I don't think Sansa ever had the dreams. But Bran is the most powerful, and then Jon. And the theory behind Jon being able to come back is his soul was inside Ghost (his direwolf).
I heard a theory that said while Jon was the dead for those few days he was in his Wolf.

Cersei gave the religious fanatics power just to get Margaery and her brother locked up and it backfired. She doesnt even care how much it hurt her only son. She uses Tommens innocence and trust in her to take control, she could have never done all of this with Joffrey. She really just wants to be Queen. Everything she does comes back and causes harm to her children. The mountain can't defeat an army. Y'all giving him too much credit.😂

I always thought Jamie should’ve put the high sparrow under arrest after he threaten to topple a Kingdom. If the high sparrow wants to say that the faith and the crown are the two pillars that keep society together, and that the crown has to respect the faith laws, and it has to work vice versa and the faith has to respect the crowns law and threatening to topple the king and his kingdom, during those times, has to be a crime against the crown. Jamie should’ve put the high sparrow under arrest right then and there, if the high sparrow truly believes what he’s doing (ethically), he would have to submit to the arrest and go through the crowns trial.

Sophie's right about the High Sparrow, why does he have to be the one who holds back when most of the rulers of Kingslanding never do if they're in control? He's got his flaws too but he's definitely a better person than some rulers like Cersei

Ramsay Bolton has gotta be one of the most EVIL characters in the history of fictioneering. Joffrey was bad enough and the JOKER was horrendous, Hannibal Lecter was even worse, but... I dunno. This dude takes the shit-eating cake, in my opinion. And it's all because he actually has motive behind his violent machinations. Over the top villainy has never been so well written.

The build up is great. Cus it seems like it’s failed.
Do you have any idea how many times we have to talk reactors off of the ledge about quitting over Jon Snow's death? Ramsay had to kill the brother. If he didn't, down the road the brother could come back and say he was the legitimate ruler. And he would be right. But he didn't need to kill them like he did is true. And one more thing. You mentioned that the Bran scenes in the cave were just going no where and sort of a waste of time. You guys should know by now that they don't just show you something for no reason. The stuff going on with Bran now is very important down the road.
You should seriously consider if you wanna go on from here.. It gets bad, the books were over by this season & the 2 writers started pulling stuff out of their u know what.. The only thing worth watching in this season is the Hodor episode, but aside from that get ready for the show to gradually turn into the same rote, clichéd Hollywood crap we all know.

Personally I think the last truly good season is season 4 but let them make up their own minds about it.
season 6 is best season after 4...dont know what uve been watching,season 7 is also a action filled bomb sesason,season 8 is truly lacking,but saying after 5th rest GOT is bad is retarded,u either "read the books" and now ur obnoxious or ur even worse ego tripper in ur real life ...show is best ever and season 6 is best one!
