Thank God that Nissan made small, simple pickup trucks like this for those of us that don't want to spend 50, 60 or 80K on a crew cab luxury pickup. This Frontier S has the things you need, but nothing you don't need. Like you said, all of those extra features they put into cars and trucks now are just more things that can break. Simple is better.

A/C comes as part of the "S Preferred Package", that also gives you an overhead bin with sunglasses storage, radio with 5" screen and Bluetooth, Siri Eyes Free, cruise control and steering wheel mounted controls for audio. If you don't get that package, your steering wheel won't have anything on it, you don't get cruise control, and your radio will only have a narrow display to show the station and preset.

gvi341984 why would you pay an extra 2k for stock rear view camera? I’ll rather buy one without it and added my own for cheaper. $200 for a double din stereo that play dvd, cds, and rear view camera support. Then I’ll just buy a cheap camera($10-50) of Ebay or Amazon and installed it my self.
That is a lie. I paid 19400$ for a 2016 with the “preferred package” which isn’t offered anymore because it is all standard now. The identical 2018 truck with the back of camera and the lcd screen and all of the items in the preferred package is currently 19965$. So more or less 500ish dollars? If you don’t include the fact that it’s been two years since then and vehicles tend to marginally increase in price. Also the 2018’s have a USB port.....
gvi341984 what drove the prices of the truck up 1200$ is the fact that Nissan realized nobody... even bare bones truck enthusiast wanted vehicles without air conditioning or a radio in 2018

Used the same style since like 2005

Millenials couldn't drive one of those.
Rob N.
Do you think millenials are under 20? We are over 22 and under 34
And most over 22 and under 34 I know can't drive a stick. Not sure on the hand crank windows, but that, along w/ cruise control use is becoming a lost skill. Add door/trunk keyholes and key start ignitions to that as well.
Unless you’re anywhere but the US, where manual transmissions are more common.
I'm a millennial who's driven vehicles much bigger than that. I also know how to drive stick.
Also, it doesn't take any skill to use cruise control or open storage compartments with keyholes...

Very good pickup.
Nope, it has to be a regular cab with a big bed.

good video this truck is so out of date it's not funny but it still works like you say
Jeremy Bonham
it is a simple work truck. that's what some people still want. if they want to drop 30k or 40k on a truck they will but something else
Isaac Spencer just saying if nissan wants to be competitive with other brands of trucks in this class this truck is 13 years old without a all new model.

NHSTA drove the prices of these trucks about 2k because of the rear view camera
gvi341984 why would you pay an extra 2k for stock rear view camera?
Also the 2018’s have a USB port.....
gvi341984 what drove the prices of the truck up 1200$ is the fact that Nissan realized nobody... even bare bones truck enthusiast wanted vehicles without air conditioning or a radio in 2018
gvi341984 Yeah rear view camera are life saving.

Why buy this when you can buy a 2005 and on for much cheaper.
Sharpshooter12345 with over 300k miles
amount of miles on it. Like you said I wouldn't buy a 2018 right now though. Maybe a 2013 with low miles.
Anthony Molina Not necessarily. I've seen many with 160km/miles go for 8-9 K
you wanna buy a 13 year old truck? with a 4 cylndr? r u out of your fake news mind?
brown buter Your grammar is atrocious.
its old tech..... so its not really cheap at that price
EvendimataE
yes it is. Because you can get these new for under 25k any other small vehicle with "new" tech will be 30k or more. sorry a new looking dash and small random electronic crap is not worth the extra costs.
