You have to remove ticks with tweezers to get head which is burrowed in dogs skin. You are leaving head inside dog. That is a flea comb. I pray you didn’t turn Doug o that cruel woman and made sure she never gets another dog. Thank you for taking care of this angel

Surely a special cream/ shampoo far more effective for immediate result & also give further protection ... available there ? .. cheap enough ? ... much better for dog's health. What made me uncomfortable about this is the woman sneaked into his ladies yd and took her dog Without her permission I think if she at least spoke with the old lady An asked her of she could take the dog it would haveHave been the right thing to do.

You have to pull the tick out right,the head is still there. And please dont put the dog back in this discusting place! And be sure this old lady dont get another dog, keep an eye on here....
When the tic is full and big like that, they can be pulled off way easier than if they were just starting to drink the blood. They are almost ready to fall off on their own when big.but I’m sure there are many more that you have to pull off very carefully with tweezers, if there are that many full ones. Sure to be lots of small ones.

I'm assuming you're implying the dog was abused by the lady but if it was, it would show signs of fear or hostility to unknown people, either the lady was a good owner who just didnt get the ticks off and you just stole her dog or that you have owned this dog and put this dog in this situation. I'm not accusing you of anything but I want an explanation on why the dog trusted you.

We don't know what kind of shampoo she used. She could have used a flea and tick shampoo. Get the facts before you make assumptions.
If she used antiparasitical shampoo all those ticks were already dead when she start pulling them out and they would just fall off.
