Hii! I commented recently about my first time solo flying/not as a child was coming up and happy to say that's im HERE IN GERMANY! Flying was awesome and the flight attendants kept reminding me of your vifeos haha
Solo flying/travel can be terrifying, but I guess if you do it enough, you get used to it. I’ve gone to and from Switzerland from Canada, alone, twice, and to and from London England from Switzerland, but I think I’ll need a few more years of solo travel, still, before I’m not bathing in anxiety about it
I personally feel they deserve more. People act really crazy on flights and lately especially with covid they deserve a huge amount for putting their life on the line every time they fly with people who refuse to wear a mask the proper way or who fly sick. Come in start working (preflight etc.) free. Hours dedicated vs hours worked our pay is horrible. Personally I rarely use the flight benefits. Getting on the plane with a mask on is the last thing I want to do. I’ve never actually heard a teacher say they were paid well. Do they teach that in teacher college? Easy to fire flight attendants. Impossible to fire a teacher. Peace my dear. 💕
Why are they so underpaid? Jobs that actually help people aren't paid what they deserve. But yet we got these business people who are making like 300-500k a year. But jobs like teachers, juvenile prison guards, cops, paramedics, ppl in the airforce, and some counselors don't even get what they deserve. It's so sad 😞

This is fair. Knew an older gentleman when I was a kid, drove a beat to hell pick up, wore holey work overalls, had a fortune of over 90 mil. But he loved the community he was born and raised in so he stayed around. No clue how he had so much,never asked as we were taught it was impolite to do so.

I never understood the materialistic obsession with car brands. Driving a "cheap" car doesn't change the fact that I can still spend quality time with the people I love and with myself, play good music (even if there's no radio in the cheap car, I still got my phone!) and get to places that bring me happiness and peace :) edit: for the record, I think it's fine if you love cars and it brings you genuine happiness, but I'm talking about when you use car brands to determine and control your self worth in society through the social status ladder in a materialistic/superficial fashion.

There's a good reason pilots make that much. My husband just graduated from flight school, which is a 4 year degree but can't become a commercial airline pilot until he has 1000 hrs of flight time ( When you graduate from a flight school. It varies depending on where you go and if you go through airforce as well). He has barely 300 hrs, and to rent a small airplane for an hour where we live is $160. We're in almost $200,000 dollars in student debt and you can't do much with your actual degree until you get in the airlines. You can get more hrs by being an instructor, but of course, you have to get hired on first, and that still takes a while. You can't support a growing family with what they make either, so he'llhave to have a second job. Or he could do something like crop dusting or surveys to get more hrs and pay but would have to be gone for at least 6 months at a time, and we are about to have our first baby. So yeah they should be making that much with all that they have to do to get there. Especially for those like my husband who have decided to have a family while trying to do this and don't have uber rich families supporting them through the whole thing. We get a ton of help from both of our parents and are so blessed for that.
They live in the Emirates tax free with free lodging. They can easily save $25,000 a year. I dated a flight attendant for Qatar airlines and she was doing quite well financially. 35k a year can be a very high salary outside of the USA.

Seriously, I few on a plane less than a few months ago fir the first time ever and I thought that the flight attendants were so pretty, kind, funny, smart, cool, outstanding. And I wanted to be one so bad that when I saw my first flight attendant I went *GASP AND A BIG GRIN FORMED OF MY FACE* “mum! Look at her! I want to be a flight attendant when I am older! There so pretty!” And that flight attendant glanced at me while we were walking past her to a group of other flight attendants and smiled, that beautiful smile that they all have, and continues walking to her flight attendant friends and they were smiling when I turned back to look at the women again, they were all smiling. I felt so happy that day and I still want to become a flight attendant. (I’m 12)

I'm a fan...just love her facial expressions, perfect lip synching and acting. Humour is awesome a perfect anecdote to today's insane world. In my opinion Cabin Crew can be one of the hardest jobs! They've seen/done it all! Such as.... Pulling a baby out of a human, Taping a passenger to a chair, people making a baby, finding phone that were left on meal trays like WHAT? How do they do That? I would so be a flight attendant! They have first class / business problems to deal with and it takes special training so they deserve to have higher salary. Yes there's none of the feet drying, loud adults or other economy passenger probs but there's gonna be heated complaints over simple things like: coffee being served at not the 'right' temperature or why the peanuts are served in a package and not on a plate, so passenger demands attendant to get off the plane, thus the whole plane going back to airport (google nut rage incident)

I never understood the materialistic obsession with car brands. Driving a "cheap" car doesn't change the fact that I can still spend quality time with the people I love and with myself, play good music (even if there's no radio in the cheap car, I still got my phone!) and get to places that bring me happiness and peace :)

There's a good reason pilots make that much. My husband just graduated from flight school, which is a 4 year degree but can't become a commercial airline pilot until he has 1000 hrs of flight time ( When you graduate from a flight school. It varies depending on where you go and if you go through airforce as well). He has barely 300 hrs, and to rent a small airplane for an hour where we live is $160.
We're in almost $200,000 dollars in student debt and you can't do much with your actual degree until you get in the airlines. You can get more hrs by being an instructor, but of course, you have to get hired on first, and that still takes a while. You can't support a growing family with what they make either, so he'llhave to have a second job. Or he could do something like crop dusting or surveys to get more hrs and pay but would have to be gone for at least 6 months at a time, and we are about to have our first baby. So yeah they should be making that much with all that they have to do to get there. Especially for those like my husband who have decided to have a family while trying to do this and don't have uber rich families supporting them through the whole thing. We get a ton of help from both of our parents and are so blessed for that.

They live in the Emirates tax free with free lodging. They can easily save $25,000 a year. I dated a flight attendant for Qatar airlines and she was doing quite well financially. 35k a year can be a very high salary outside of the USA.

Seriously, I few on a plane less than a few months ago fir the first time ever and I thought that the flight attendants were so pretty, kind, funny, smart, cool, outstanding. And I wanted to be one so bad that when I saw my first flight attendant I went

If you want to be a pilot I STRONGLY suggest you work on your spelling because they read a lot. You need to be able to read to know how to safely take off and land various planes. In my opinion Cabin Crew can be one of the hardest jobs! They've seen/done it all! Such as.... Pulling a baby out of a human, Taping a passenger to a chair, people making a baby, finding phone that were left on meal trays like WHAT? How do they do That? I would so be a flight attendant! Not for the fact of what they go through, but being able to travel the world and honestly I would love to tape someone to a chair

Idk, I get how more training and expertise means higher salary, but I feel like maybe business class and first class cabin crew have less craziness to deal with than economy cabin crew? And therefore economy cabin crew should be paid more?
They have first class / business problems to deal with and it takes special training so they deserve to have higher salary. Yes there's none of the feet drying, loud adults or other economy passenger probs but there's gonna be heated complaints over simple things like: coffee being served at not the 'right' temperature or why the peanuts are served in a package and not on a plate, so passenger demands attendant to get off the plane, thus the whole plane going back to airport (google nut rage incident)
